We are recent iPad adapters. I have a grandson (3) and a grand nephew (4) who are into Thomas 24/7. They just can't get enough. They also can't get enough of my iPad. I'm going to have to invest in a second unit. My grandson visited this weekend so we searched for something "Thomas" on the iPad and found the Thomas Misty Island Rescue app. Wow! what a great app! He just can't leave it alone. Actually, I'm having a blast with it too. The puzzle are magical. The coloring book game could be improved in that he can't seem to stay in the lines even with the small brush. That said, he doesn't seem to care. All in all one of the best kids values we've downloaded yet.We want more!

This is totally brilliant!! My 3 year old son hasn't stopped playing this game!!! There's so much to do and learn!! Fantastic App which every little toddler should have. Well worth the money.....He totally loves the fact that the story pages move, eg the logs all float about on the page, so clever!!! Includes jigsaws and colouring too and lovely songs. I thoroughly recommend buying it today! (No problems whatsoever with loading either)

My three year old grandson just loves any thing to do with Thomas the Train. I purchased this app and now he is mad when I don't bring my iPad. This is a great application ad is one mor reason why electronic publishing is the wave of the future.

Both of my kids were begging me to read this Thomas book again and again. The animations are great as are the added bonus features - puzzles especially! I went back to AP store looking for another Thomas AP with another storyline just because they love this one so much. I hope there's more to come!

This app is fantastic, but it would be even better if they added the option to highlight the words as the story is read. Also, an auto page turn option would be nice! Other than that, it's great!

My 2 year old loves thomas and this app especially it's interactive features! Please more Thomas like this please. We read this over and over thank God for read to me option! Love the music video should add the one that sings Thomas must be found in an update as additional video. Well done! I enjoy it as much as my 2 year old!

My 4 year old daughter loves this book. She's a big fan of Thomas, and this app has created a new level of adoration. The graphics, music, puzzles and coloring are wonderful bonuses to the story. Great job, Callaway folks.

Not everyone does a good job transitioning a book into an app. They often times end up with the same book, some cheesy animations, and voice over, not really taking advantage of the iPad technology. Not so with Misty Island. This app makes reading the story a brand new experience. It's beautiful, fun and clever. A joy to read!

My almost 4 year old loves this app. He can move among the games himself. Most of all he loves the story, both we the app narrates or when I read the story to him. Highlyrecomend and worth every penny!

Great Ap, my 3 yr old has gotten alot of mileage out of it already. Loves the coloring game, and the puzzle game. Several dozen car rides in relative quite! WhewThought 5 bucks was a bit much, but for the work out she has given it, well worth the silence from the back seat.

We use this app all of the time. It has great interaction between the story and the user. My two year old loves it. She always asks to play with it. It's easy for her to use and she loves to sing along. Fantastic price too - you get a ton for your money!

This is a magical way to read the Thomas story. The pictures are vibrant and the layout is absolutely great. My sons (5 & 3) thought this was just way too cool and so did I, I cant wait for the next book!! Definitely worth it!
