MiniBooks Lite puts the popular web invoicing software FreshBooks in the palm of your hand. Manage your clients, send invoices, run timers, and record payments, all while on the go. Plus, MiniBooks Lite fully synchronizes with your FreshBooks account, so you have access to your account even when you're off the grid.

This is truly an excellent app I can work away from my computer. This is a must have I switched from quickbooks to freshbooks because of the easy use and if you only have three clients a month like myself it's absolutely free. 10 stars if could.

Some others have already mentioned issues that I am sure are being addresses. I would love to see better inventory controls. I need to see what's in my truck when I am going to a job. Fresh books could use an update here as well. Keep listening to your users and you can't go wrong.

I like the free version, but $15 for an app that is more than the actual online version is ridiculous! Please lower the price and I would buy. Free version is ok.

I figured I'd pull this app down and give it a spin, seeing as the company that I work at uses FreshBooks for time tracking & invoicing.
Come to find out, while what I had expected was that I'd simply be limited to seeing 3 customers, as the restrictions on the free version of this app happen to be, I ended up getting told that my authentication token was invalid. (I did test that one out, by making a request to the FreshBooks API. I got back the expected data.)
It worked with a FreshBooks account created specifically for the purpose, but that doesn't solve the issue, because the data I need is in the account held by my workplace.

Neither minibooks or minibooks lite will be useful until I can add projects and do estimates on iphone. And unlike Omni invoice clients do not auto populate from the address book. It's the small things like auto populate that are critical. I hate re-entering data.

One big gripe is invoice #'s. It does not follow the next sequence of invoice # from Freshbooks. it allows you to manually enter an invoice number which means you have to remember what the last invoice # from Freshbooks was.
It needs to allow you to check on / off what kind of payments are allowed.
It needs to allow to create invoices from projects.
It would be nice to allow for estimate creation.
When showing invoices, to allow you to show active, archived etc. just like the site instead of showing ALL invoices.
Monthly fee Makes this app cost a fortune

There is no reason why a smart business owner would choose a book keeping application with an indefinate monthly cost. That being said if I had a fortune to throw away or if I was already using freshbooks site, this app makes some of the best invoices in the app store. I however refuse to pay 30 per month just because I have over 100 clients. Lou

It's missing 2 critical features before it would be useful to me in the field:
• Invoice creation from timer
• continuation of invoice number sequence
I'm a consultant and contract programmer. I'd like to be able to create an invoice based on a timer while in the field. However, there is currently no way to do that from this app, and even if there were, it doesn't track the existing invoice number sequence.
A nice start, but unusable to me in its current form.
LITE version is way too lite.

I dowoaded the lite version to try out, but found out that I'mimited to three clients. No problem. But then I discovered after installing the app that I *can't choose those three clients*!!! This made the app completely useless, and was nothing but aggravating.The full version is way too expensive considering that to use it, you already have to be a subscriber in the first place. The Lite version is just a tease. I won't be using either. I'll just log on from the web or from my iphone's Safari browser, which works fine btw...

I understand that this app took time to develop... but why so costly? I already pay a monthly subscription for my service and, other than another freebie for the Moped users, this app is nothing more than a lame preview! It is completely ineffective for any paying freshbooks user and, in my opinion, doesn't offer enough convenience to justify the $15 price tag for any of variation of what I saw in this lite version. I really don't like "lite" apps that are just advertisements for the full version. I can read the advertisements without wasting my time installing them.
Sorry Freshbooks... I love your online service but this app gets an F

What a massive waste of my time looking for the bloody token. When I finaly did find it, I disovered that when you write an invoice there is no option for VAT! I am deleting this crap.

I've just set up a FreshBooks account and wanted to try the free version of this app before I took the plunge and paid for the Premium version. Wow, glad I did that. In order to get started you have to enter in your domain name, (part of the Freshbooks setup, so, no big deal), and your "Token". Well, I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to find this, "Token" and have to say I'm baffled. There is nothing on any page with that moniker nor anything that resembles something token-like. Brilliant! So, immediately dead in the water. Any chance of extending the instructions so we proles at least have a fighting chance at locating the elusive, "Token"?
