Very polished app, very nice GUI , I like it very good performance, and lots of functions in the catalog, well done Daniel. I like the app, I will perform a deeply testing in the integration and derivatives parts reporting any issues I can find. Also an overall testing to give good feedback to the developers. Plotting features would improve a lot the app, implement them guys for future updates! =)

PocketCAS Pro offers all of the functionality of the major Computer Algebra System based programs like Maple, with the convenience of being on your Ipod Touch. With an innovative and simple interface, along with extensive tutorials, it is amazingly easy to get "up to speed" with the program. PocketCAS Pro has an amazing list of features, from the functions of a basic and scientific calculator, to extensive calculus and linear algebra libraries, it has it all. Does amazing work with simplifying and solving integrals, derivatives, multidimensional polynomial series, arbitrary polynomial expression solving, trigonometric solutions, and more. It deals with both the basic and the complex with an amazingly easy to master interface and input method. On top of all of this, it also provides conversions between binary, decimal, hexadecimal, and octal, as well as between degrees and radians. The only setback right now for PocketCAS Pro is that it does not yet support graphing, fortunately, this is the first thing that will be updated once people start buying the program. Certainly a must for anyone in any sort of math class from highschool up through upper level college.
Good Math App

Works well within it's limits. I tried it out with a number of sums and integrals and other stuff in Gradshteyn and Ryzhik. In some cases it gives cleaner results than GR. No need to fiddle with the output to find a "nice" version ofthe result. Neither this nor Spacetimecan do some tricky infinite sums or definite integrals Mathematica does easily, though results in Mathematica can be clumsy compared to pocketCAS when they overlap. Comparing to Spacetime on similar problems, Spacetime sometimes produces correct but clumsy expressions that can be simplified by inspection. On this class of problems pocketCAS is better. The interface is also easier to understand and use. But no graphs. Recommended.

I am a scientist, and use matlab every day. PocketCAS is the closest I've seen to the functionality I'm used to. I like the way you can form scripts, and do sequencial operations. Highly recommended.

Very well done!! A powerful CAS in this calculator , very NICE GUI, an excellent performance. It solves integrals and derivatives with high performance. Also limits , expand and factorization of function. For future updates plotting in 2d will be a magnificent feature, further 3d plotting would be a mega boom!!!

Best symbolic calculator on appstore: Symbolic laplace tranformer and its inverse, symbolic solution of infinite series and integral, symbolic matrix calculations, rational funtions factorization and partial fractions... Copy-paste compatible with other apps and very confortable keyboard.For future updates, 2D plot, loop commands and programmable funtions would be very userful.

This app clearly defines each function in its huge inventory, and gives examples that you can work out., You can actually learn from this app. I especially like the ease with which I can solve differnetial and difference equations. The organization of functions by topics is really helpful. This is a delightful addition to our ability to do symbolic math problems easily, anywhere we happen to be.

I was surprised to see how easy it was to use the built in keyboard, as well as how easy it was to find documentation on the functions I wanted to use. If you want a great math program for the iPhone, with a huge number of functions, great interface and amazing performance, you can do no better than PocketCAS! Can't beat the price either. I have SpaceTime as well, and PocketCAS stands its own ground very well when compared to ST, and for far less money. Highly recommended!
