Good APP By: Clover-Cover - 24-Apr-2009 Version: 1.0 Good APP. Not much else to say about it.As for the heat thing, it's not. Although there are some muppets, calling other people muppets, which are muppets them selves by saying it's not heat, it's pressure, which it also obviously isn't. No matter how much pressure you apply your not going to get a diffrent result. It doesn't detect pressure, Cuberunneraddict...The screen is Capacitance based. It detects electrical conductivity, which of corse the human body is, or a sasuage. The screen is absolutly not pressure detective.EDIT:He didn't say anything rude. All he said was that the iTouch/iPhone worked by heat sense. For some reason mostly everyone jumped on him like a pack of wolves.
absolute awesomeness By: TheRealV - 10-May-2009 Version: 1.2 Ignore the "WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS" reviews. This is sheer brilliance. And, there's no point to it, that's it's beauty. at first I didn't think of it. much before finding myself fiddling with it while listening to classical. and trance. greatest fun when you adjust sensitivity high, and inertia low. go GET this unusual price if touchy awesomeness NOW! thank you for making this, well worth the money!
Good App :) By: Lisa, Oxfordshire - 18-May-2009 Version: 1.2 This app is good for what its worth. You either like it or hate it I suppose.. On that note I personally think it's pretty cool, but I got it for my 2 year old daughter really, and I'm glad I did as she loves it!! The only problem I have with it is the fact Is you drag around the screen, I got the impression you can touch it and it prints your whole finger (like indicated in the picture) This doesn't entirely effect it, overall still a great app :)
Mind Boggling By: DON'T, Click Here! - Apr 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Five reasons to download: it's really cool to watch the color's change to your touch! There is plenty of sellection for changing of colors, color changing speed, and many more!it's a top application it's very relaxingit's something that will entertain you for hours!Three things you should know about this app:it doesn't actually respond to your heat. Come on people, that's impossible.your friends will take your iPod to play this! Beware!!!it's very fascinating... This is a great application. Very fun! Have a great time playin it!
awesome By: Mrs. Joe Jonas03 - Apr 23, 2009 Version: 1.0 this app is so cool! it doesn't really get that hot though. i wish it could get hotter. there should be a few more things though. 1. u should be able to put pictures on it so u could make an awesome frame 2. u should be able to save the things that u create 3. it should get hotter. (i dont think its possible though) 4. more colors or something like that 5. pictures that come with it so u could like color them or something like that i just really wish u could save it!. i created the most awesomest thing ever but then it disappeared :*(**
Kinda like a lava lamp By: apples2oranges - Apr 18, 2009 Version: 1.0 I would like to see this type of programing used to make an animated lava lamp app. I dig the effect, I just think changing the heat spots into permanent blobs that rise or fall as they heat up and cool would be a nice update or follow up app.. My only gripe is not being able to do hand prints, kinda like what's shown on the icon, but I have a feeling that's a hardware limitation, that the iPhone only recognizes touches as a single point no matter how large the surface area of that touch actually is. I like this app.
Love it!!! By: Obiemouser - Apr 28, 2009 Version: 1.1 No your iPhone does not sense heat or pressure.... It uses a complex electrical grid that senses a disruption(made by the small electrostatic charge a human carries) in a certain coordinate, then interprets it.... Then it tells the little gnomes inside your iPhone to sketch a certain image on the glass screen.... They do but not before sprinkling it with magic glowing fairy dust.... What you see is actual glowing gnome image. Oh and they hate it when moronic cheap people complain about a 99 cent product. Think you can do better than the gnomes??? Start writing your own program or shut up!!!!
Stupid reviewers By: CuberunneraddictXD - 23-Apr-2009 Version: 1.0 Dont listen to threse ignorant reviewers. This isnt supposed to "detect" heat. Ofcourse it frickin uses pressure appliance, its not some high- tech firefighter gadget! Anyway, this application is very entertaining, offers different combinations of sensitivity and backgrounds. Overall this is a very promising application and i hope the idea is built on through updates!Dear jon, thats an interesting theory, but i think you will find that the "touch" detects pressure! XDClover-Clover guy, i didnt mean it depends on how much pressure is applied i mean it detects pressure, common sense. Im also not sad enough to research this knowledge.Im not sure calling jon a retard is going to prove anything, his English his almost perfect, its just his theory.
Come back john By: HsgbshJnsukjGyx - 24-Apr-2009 Version: 1.0 I cant find you or your comment. I think it ran out of review space coz so many peeps were complaining about john.I thought john was the guy who made this game! That is why i called him a ledge, but alas. :'(And looking at other peeps comments, i have come to the conclusion that you are not such a ledge afterall, and you have been saying rude stuff about things. Yes john, I mean you. I know your reading this. I find this unacceptable and erm you've not only let yourself down, but other heat detectees down, and also me down and apple worldwide down. Soz, you are a rude child, I wish I could see your comment and laugh at it.R.I.P john.
Excellent By: L.B.G - 18-Apr-2009 Version: 1.0 Nice idea, it is very original. It is quite realistic in that the screen will retain its energy and will gradually cool down or heat up. However don't expect this to turn your iPhone into a heat sensing thermal image camera. This app simply imitates it, but does it very well, and it is relaxing to run your fingers along the screen when you are tired, almost passed out, day dreaming, or having a really bad hangover, lol. Get it now while it is free, although it will still be worth paying for when it has a price, so long as it does not cost more than £1.19. Although it could be worth more if any major updates were released. Great app, get it now!

Intuitive, very clever By: Onyajaws - 09-May-2009 Version: 1.2 The programmers have done a brilliant job here... This app is always able to enthral me.I took a screen shot of one of my creations and used it as my background, it's so easy to be artistic with this app.I got it whilst it was free... Though it is worth the new price, new users may not realise it... A little unfortunate.Great work guys. Perhaps in the future a Share system would be clever, though perhaps leaving that until OS 3 would be a good idea.
Posted by Jon 9886 By: ohdannyboy1974 - 25-Apr-2009 Version: 1.0 Jon, Jon, we're a big dog with a boneA genuine heat-sensor in the iPhone? Is it true what we say?Did you kill yourself that day?Or did you simply use your brainOn a slightly higher plain?Have we all now gone too farAbout your heat-sensing faux-pas?Yet your food-thought we still eatRe: the iPhone and our heatWith our waggon and our bandIt's now time to leave this landWe should be shamed by all our hate And thank you so for this debateBecause despite our vehment triteYoure technically rightElectricity generates heatSo all our words we eat
Damn cool By: Benji15000 - 22-Apr-2009 Version: 1.0 The person who said that the screen is sensitive to heat *COUGH* Jon *COUGH* is an idiot. The screen is sensitive to the electromagnetic pulse in you body and not heat. Some pens have been made to be used on the screens and they allow current to pass through them, the ends of the pens aren't warmIt is clear that jon is trying to be a know it all and prove people wrong, but is actually proving how dim-witted he is.Oh and the app is pretty good.
Full Review A- By: Kelthazar - Apr 27, 2009 Version: 1.1 Well I got this app for free and the upgrade came free too. First things first the app is amazing and fun. It passes the time when ur bored and is a great app for sharing with friends. I spent a good 45 minutes with 4 people messing around with the fantasy effect. And even took a few fun screen shots. :D The upgrade makes it even better after about 5 minutes I just switch to the next effect so I could spend approximately 30 minutes on this app alone!! One last thing to those people who want a shake and reset feature: BLOW ON THE ITOUCH/IPHONE SCREEN IT COOLS IT DOWN QUICKER!!!! Unbelievable I know!!!So why not 5 stars? Well, idk feels like somethings missing like music.
Cool By: MadGod1428 - May 25, 2009 Version: 1.2 This app is fun but i got it when it was free. If u liked ilava, fluid, spawn or any other apps like that id recommend itTo the person who suggested a lava app, there is one that exists called ilava. Its a dollar. I have it it is very coolAlso to the dumb people. This app doesnt generate heat. It sences heat from ur fingers when u touch it. Thats how the touch works. And so you can make cool designs.
Try it out... By: Wooly Orpheus - 27-Apr-2009 Version: 1.0 Ok so this is a pretty solid app. If your looking to calm your mind down this is a great place to start, the multi-touch surface is excellent for creating patterns that slowly fade away, sort of like a futuristic zen garden I suppose, maybe even add some slow music. Anyway my suggestion is to try it out, it really helps out with stress (for me anyway) to do something like this for a couple of minutes to help keep me on an even keel.
Good By: ░░♪♫█☺♠☺█♫♪░░ - 03-May-2009 Version: 1.1 Good app, but jon9886 is a plain idiot here, it doesn't use heat, it has an electromagnetic layer under the plastic screen which gets blocked by your finger, it senses that and that is how it works and I'm not wrong cause I googled itEdit: unlucky jon9886 but your being mocked by everyone else nowEdit: I feel so bad after starting this jon9886 thing, I mean, he said one wrong thing and we jumped on him like a pack of aliens (<--- wha?!) jus leave him alone
An improving app By: Ryan M - Jul 1, 2009 Version: 1.4 This is a fun sandbox kind of app that cannot be charged for yet. For this app to really majorly improve it needs to behave like a heat pad! I understand that the API limits what touch data is available, but people would pay for that clever sollution. What I am talking about is being able to lay your whole finger down and get a lasting impression of your whole finger, not just the tip. Keep up the good work, four stars for a fun app and to counter some of these negative reviews. 5 when I get the update I describe :)

Cool for free By: Bzjme - Dec 2, 2009 Version: 1.4 Kinda cool I like the fantasy option.
