I haven't written any reviews for anything on the App store, but I feel that this game is so superior to anything else I've played that something needed to be said. This game is similar to a cross between Implode! and Worms-- in that there are strategic points that you need to hit and explode, but you have to do it via projectile birds of different types. Sound is great, visuals are great, and difficulty progression is fantastic. I only hope that they develop more levels for this game, as I got through the included 60 already... but it's really the first game that I've actually sat down to play, as opposed to just playing when I need to waste time.Incredible, and hoping the developers keep adding more to this game to sell more copies! After having paid for it, I would pay at least $5 for this game; it's worth every penny and is a complete steal at 99 cents!

THIS IS A MUST BUY!!!!! once you start you can't put it down. it takes sometime getting used to picking the correct trajectories for busting up the buildings... but it can be done. the first 9 levels are more 'getting used to the game', after that, some insidious level designs appear.good for you, the angry birds you are slingshotting can do some amazing things. one very small bird, once in flight can be tapped on and it turns into 3 bird bombs!!don't take my word for it; just buy it!the only thing lacking would be a level editor, but im quite sure the devs will add one in later on.

Bloom Blox, the cult favorite Wii game, seems like it would translate easily into two dimensions, but few have been able to get the combination of physics and the joy of demolition that comes from a well placed shot. Yet, Angry Birds pulls it off with such polish and panache it makes the other games in the "catapult" genre look like toddlers bowling, i.e. adorable attempts at failure. The game is broken up into three worlds where your army of birds and their different abilities (from blowing up at a touch to dive bombing birds) seek vengeance against lazy green pigs who inexplicably are protected by structures made of glass, wood and brick. And it's done with charming graphics (just the way those pigs smirk at you after you've blown a puzzle) and puzzles that feel more devious than the last. Angry Birds takes takes the best part of Worms and Bloom Blox and fits them into a brilliant puzzle game about suicidal birds and the mass slaughter of pigs.

Those birds are really PO'd!!!

Do you like smashing things with birds? This is your game.
Similar to implode in that you're destroying things; the object is to destroy the pigs [?] who stole your eggs. You do this by using a sling shot to slam the birds into buildings that contain the pigs.
Graphics are cartoony but smooth. A good diversion for a buck.
Suggestions:
[] Allow the slingshot to pull back a bit further. It doesn't move much as is and it is a bit difficult to guage power output.
[] Make the previous bird path more visible when zooming out [don't forget you can zoom in or out on this game to view the entire scene as opposed to having to scroll].
[] Add different types of birds (perhaps some could explode or, like a Super Sheep in Worms some you could have a bit of control in-flight.)

This game is awesome! It somehow got me to play it for 3 hours until one in the morning! Then I played for another few hours the next night. Angry birds is an awesomely addicting game.

Angry Birds is one of the best iPhone games I've played! The only shame is that I've already beaten all the levels. I'd pay for a sequel with more levels in a heartbeat.Gameplay is smooth, fast, and stable. It's never crashed on me yet, and this is just the 1.0 version. Great job all around.

I'm only on 1-11 and I can tell already this one is a gem. Undeniable charm and humor abound. Angry Birds takes what Crush the Castle presented and perfects it in almost any conceivable way. Short, but it's a buck! I hope for updates and new levels, but that's no reason to strip stars it truly deserves.
