You sniveling mamas boys!?
This has superb graphics, excellent controls, and a very fitting soundtrack. The full version is packed full of tracks and vehicles that are unlockable.
If you don't understand the word "lite", or if you cannot even spell simple words( that's 97% of these so called reviewers) then please don't continue trying to leave uneducated and uninformed frivolous rants. We all can tell that you must be little 14 year old boys whose momma won't buy them an iTunes gift card, so they can only d/l free trials of games. Then said pimple faced, douche flossers pretend they are entitled to berate the developers( feeble attempts mind you) as if they weren't satisfied by the demo they had to take time away from their Dungeons & Dragons character sheet to download.
Jeez, I never would have thought you sh!tbags would be the ones who represent iDevice users world-wide.
I'm embarrassed to own a iPhone, let me at that Palm Pre!
It works fine and good graphics
By: Volks1470 - Jan 16, 2009
I really don't know why people are complaining so much, did they even spend time to play the game?
The graphics look great and it runs very very smoothly! Load times are a bit long, but it's fine.
Touch controls work perfectly, I thought it was a bit too easy. Didn't bother with accel. Controls because I've never really liked them.
My one complaint is the sounds are a bit silly and childish, only problem.
Overall, a great idea that could be really good with some tweaks!
Good, but its no Galaxy on Fire
By: Finchypoo - Jan 14, 2009
Great graphics, smooth framerate but slightly annoying controls with accelerometer (haven't tried touch controls yet). Accelerometer controls are a bit too smoothed, its hard to recover from oversteer and you often bounce off either side of the track a few times before you recover because its hard to make small quick adjustments, only large unresponsive movements. Other than that once you get the hang of the controls it isn't not bad, but there are better racing games out there. Fishlabs has a space sim called Galaxy on Fire that looks amazing, has gotten incredible reviews for a mobile game and has a good 20 hours of gameplay and they NEED to port it over to iphone.
Would not launch
By: Pyrowizz - Jan 23, 2009
I downloaded it from my phone and when I launched it, it looked like it was loading for a second. Then it quit and opended up the full version. After restarting my phone and trying to open the game many times I decided to spend the last few dollars on my gift card on the full version. And guess what. It did the same thing. Except it opens the app store to the company same being searched to show all of their games. PLEASE FIX THIS. I feel like I wasted money on a 6mb picture and a link to spend more money, which I don't have anymore.
Thank you for your time.

It's a good little app, better than most free racing apps so it's a good idea to download and install. I really don't recommend you buy the full version though; just not worth it. The controls in this game is alright, it's pretty good when you're not playing on accelerometer mode (personally I think using the touch screen is way better). The graphics are good, and to those who say the graphics look, cheap, really, what do you expect? This is not like Chocolate Shop Frenzy or Sally's Salon free version thing. It's a racing game. The frames gotta move fast. The graphics are pretty good for a free app, it's kind of similar to Crash Nitro Kart, but not as good. But hey, you gotta hand it to FishLabs- they're doing okay. Keep at it, but in the next update for the free version could you fix some bugs and maybe adjust the controls? Thanks. :)
MUST READ: Fun & Interesting

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about, but I like the game! It's cool how the drifting works and it kinda feels like driving a true drift car: sliding all over. It's not really hard at all and I even managed to get 1st place on the first two races. The graphics are very clear and powerful but I think it could be a little more realistic. A few things could be tweaked like not spinning out when u hit the back of another car and sound isn't worth it but I normally play without sound anyway. The music really helps concentration and seems to drown out surrounding noise but I NEED to hear some engine sounds and drifting sounds! Also, I need some way to control my acceleration. Put a reverse gear in there and if a manual transmission was added, it'd be perfect! If all of these changes were added, i'd give this FIVE STARS! The load of good outways a the few negatives & To be honest, it's just a simple game to 'chillax' and have fun! No need to get mad! However, I must say the second course, the inferno, is actually harder than the third so be ready for level two! Good luck! Overall, I totally reccomend it and still would if it was $0.99. Get the premium version: it's $0.99. It's a really good game! Try it...it's free! Don't get discouraged if hard at first! :-)
Gives a little more substance for a lite than the other racers, but not as good.
By: Grimjack2 - May 1, 2009
Maybe one of the better lite racing games, but it doesn't have better graphics or gameplay than the two or three others. What it does have is two courses, and a challenge. Most lites are simply too easy and simple looking, but here we see at least two completely different tracks. The game leads you to believe it is more 'vertical' than the others, but at least in this version there aren't many jumps, and I wasn't able to do much in the air physics-wise, like flip over, land wrong skidding, etc..
Not sure how not to always be accelerating, or if possible. A lot of people seem to complain about the steering - I don't like the touch screen method because I can't help from pressing the home button, and it seemed to handle fine with the accelerometer. Or at least acceptably.
But the opponents are difficult, and you can get a taste of what the full offers. Worth playing, but you may not keep this version for long, as you'll want the full version, or to remove this one.
great game, makes full use of your accelerometer
By: quietstorm81 - Jan 21, 2009
It's a great game, great use of your accelerometer on your iphone. After all, I think that's the "coolest" thing about a game on the iPhone, is using the accelerometer. Definitely considering buying the full paid version. Some things I think it should include are having a course map, instead of the bar on the upper corner of the screen. (I'd like to see the twist and turns in the map). Also on top of that, I would like to see (maybe even as an option) to put signs up on the road telling you there is a turn ahead as it is sometimes a bit hard with the landscape to tell if there is a turn ahead. Overall though, I'm very satisfied.
For controls alone

The touch option is fantastic. Don't always want to tilt to play and this game gives me the option to use the touch screen. Just right for the way I play and I get 1st easily. Wonder if there are powerups in the full version and if there are differences in the cars. Graphics are well done. I would say this demo is good for someone who wants a racer but is not looking for a hardcore one. Nice simple game that is fun for the casual player. Nice not to have to drop 10 bucks for a game when all you want is a quick fix in between those other games you play that require more of your skills. Thanks and looking forward to the updates. A solid foundation so far.
Good Lite Version
By: Coldar - Jan 13, 2009
Allright so it doesn't have any powerups, boosters, etc. But I'm hoping the full version has a little more something to it. Mostly its driving around two tracks (Heatwave and Inferno) which were very easy to maneuver. You can slip/slid around corners somewhat and if not careful get crossed up and find yourself facing the other way, seems like you can't go off the track either. Other cars will bump you but doesn't seem to effect your car any. Names of cars are cool and car graphics are good too. You can unlock these cars as you progress through the tracks (in the full version). Has a nice little dity of a tune. Its in the genre of Cro-Mag, Crash Bandicoot NK but easier, in this lite version anyway. Looks good but will wait till others buy the full version to see if its got more to it

This app rock I ned to get the full version
By: DisMartoo - Jan 27, 2009
It's just lite edition and lite editions are types of advertisement for sellers because when you are confused about buying somrthing you can just try it for free and if you like it, than you can buy it... for me, it's great and the accelerometer steering is good for me and should be for others too...
Fun app with replay value
By: Somery - Jan 19, 2009
I enjoy playing this game. I never read the directions but it feels like the iPhone itself is the steering wheel. The fact that im not beating the game in ten minutes gives it replay value. This game is pretty cool for a cell phone app.
