This is a really good app in my view. What's the point in giving it a crap review, because there's no point . 1. Because it's free 2. It's a great game for it's money because it doesn't cost anything! When I look at reviews and some people say it's a crap game- don't buy it! I get really put off but when I see a great review I buy the game and am glad I bought it! I hope this review is the one that makes you buy the game Ok.. Now i'm starting to scare myself.. Just get the game ok :P

This was an awesome demo for the even more awesome game. There aren't many GOOD games out there in the App store. I mean there are a few... Like Tap Tap dance, or Fieldrunners, or even Reign of Swords. These games are addicting and very fun. The reasly good games that have EFFORT put into them seem to be $4.99. For some odd reason. And hey, try it out... Download it, what's the worst that could happen? It runs fine, never crashes and just download this free version, if you don't like it, delete it, your not OBLIGATED to keep it or buy the full version. All and all a wonderful game, ok graphics and totally worth the $4.99 for the full version. ---*UPDATE*--- Ok WTF... All you dooshbags with an IQ of at MOST of 68 who are like "omg I beat in like an hour and the missions are so short and there's only like 5" or "there's three maps but I only got to play one :-(" omg... You people think that a game with THIS much thought put into it would be free? Ever notice the button on the main menu that says "buy free version"...? Well for your information it's $4.99....

this is one of the best free apps on here, i would buy the full game if i had some money left. It can get abit repetative but with the amount of levels you get free is amazing. Usually you only get a couple of levels and thats it but with this theres loads to keep you entertained. Plus what more do you want for free. Also the main reason this is one of the best apps its penguins :P how can you not like playing games with flying penguins

Normally would never write a review or go to the reviews unless I'm going to buy a game but this is One of the BEST games ever made for the iPhone..no I'm not exagerating I'm going to buy the extended version that's how much fun I had. It's one of those games that aren't to easy but aren't impossible to beat. Very simple to play to all you do is tap. Also after a while when you play it, you start to realize the time and care the creators took to develop the game. My final comment is that you won't be disappointed with this and it deserves to be at the number one spot of free games.

I only played it for a few minutes and did not finish the entire game yet but it's a lot of fun. Has different stages to the mission of the game. As you progress it gets a little tricky and not as easy which is a plus. It give you a challenge to perfect each stage in the game and you will not get bored with it so easily. It allows you to replay certain stages to get a perfect score and then you can move on. Very fun and the graphics are pretty good.

This game is really fun. I wish though that it had more levels. I'm thinking of buying the full Version. but, it seems like this game only has continues levels. Each level is the exact same. 1. You hit the penguins into the fire.2. You make the peuinguins knock out the polar bears. Next level ext. but, in the end I think people should go install this. And you can decide on your own if you want to buy the full version!

Minus 1 star for misleading "screen shots" of the graphics

When I DL'd this game I thought the graphics were going to be exactly like the "screen shot" pictures; but they are NOTHING like them! The graphics NEED MAJOR improvement. As for the game play, it is very enjoyable--simple premise but challenging game play. Keeps you trying; I bought the full version after DL’g this free version. **Note to the Developers: please fix the problem w/ the music; it loops/continues after exiting the app.**

Awesome game, just awesome... get also Tiki Towers (free) for building ladder paths for Monkeys :-)
Just like Tiki Towers, this is a "think a little" game, catapulting penguins in helmets to strike polar bears at a distance. First part is catapulting 4-8 penguins, and depending on how many survive your properly-timed launch, you have those penguins to strike down on the bears. It is a fun game with fun music, and you get to play a whole level, about 6-8 stages with 2 bonus stages.
I tried this free game, but i will be buying the game very soon... it's always important to have access to however-limited free version because then you can avoid shock if you buy something and don't like it... and the $3 is a good price... hopefully the developers will make more games like this, and at this price (and keep a free version)... and everybody will be happy. Also i hope the overall rating for this game goes up from 4.5 stars to 5.0 stars because it sure is great, and i have tried many different games and apps.
I am giving it 5 stars because this is the kind of game i want to see, great graphics, great content... autosaves if you have to exit... i have nothing to complain about, just to say...
I WISH YOU WILL MAKE MORE GAMES LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT'S GREAT!!!.... monkeys, penguins, other fun animals...

First off ever tried updating your I pod or phone mabe you don't have the right version that supprts this game try plugging it in to I tunes. Okay now the game is a very unique idea and surprisingly very fun catapulting penguins in the air. But it soon starts to get a bit difficult (the last few levels) the graphics can sometimes get a bit pixely but I don't mind that. I just wig there was moe to offer than just catapulting penguins though. Don't get me wrong though tossing peguins in the air is fun. For an orrigional idea and a lot of enjoyment that gets you 4/5.

It's good I like LOL! Exept it Kinda gets a little boring but it's free I like it's cool. Get it it's free if U like it get the full app if U like it I don't have the full app but I think I will get the full app 'cause I really like it but it wastes your battery reallly quickly. Also it's good for kids they enjoy it I'm a kid and I'm writing this comment it's so cool kids love it! Just like me.. Ohh yeah one for thing the full app isn't really expensive but if U like the free one get the full app it costs $4.99 I'll tell U when I get the full app if I do. So I'll text in next time. Get the full app I'll text U in next time. Ohh yeah I would give it five but now It's four 'cause the free one only has 20 let's say levels and U can't pass so yeah but love the app! The game is pretty kul but it needs more levels at least 2or3 more .O and this has nothing 2 do with the game is just a tip to help u guys ok here it goes whenever you open an application and it sends u back to the iPod touch menu in my case u will not be able to open any other application except the ones that came with the iPod touch and what u must do to solve this problem u go to the app store download a free app and when it's complete u will be able to open any app u have don't erase the iPod memory like I did do what I wrote in those review if this does not work check on the internet thankyou and God bless you.!!

But do love the graphics. And I guess I can say it was unique in it's own way ( course we've had other apps where we'd have to shoot things at others things to save things, or kill them.. But they weren't penguins, and they definately weren't this good looking, and somewhat comical...) Besides that, and how the last stage, right before you get to the caged penguin level, being entirely 6x harder then the ones before it, gameplay was pretty easy going. But I believe the app is worth all of $2 and especially not the $5 it's currently priced at. Enigmo is freaking $2. Let's be real here...

Although boring, brilliant to be free!

Crazy Penguin Catapult is a great game but the lasting value gets in the way. Sure the graphics are good, it has a cool story line and sound but I find that every llevle is just the same thing only getting harder ... and harder ... and harder ... until finally you move on to another game. Don't get me wrong, Crazy Penguin Catapult is a cute fun, polar bear bashing adventure, but it just gets way too repetitive.

This feels like a throwback to simpler times, when titles like Lemmings or Donkey Kong Country were loved for two reasons: lovingly crafted graphics, and a simple idea that never loses focus. The game is about penguins as ballistics, and timing. It would survive as a port on the Atari 2600. But the presentation of the game is lovingly done, with fun and varied animations. I enjoy seeing the penguins adjusting their helmets, or the Polar bears punching their palms. And obviously the gameplay is fun.
