Like many people, this is my first ever review, however, i felt compelled to write something about this wonderfully addictive game for the iphone/ipod.
The concept is simple, the graphics superbly smooth, and i just cannot stop playing.
I have rated it five stars, as that is what this App deserves, however, the game is lost when you receive an incoming call. Also, you will play this so much that your battery life will dwindle to nothing.
My highest score to date is 71. Dont know how I did it, but I do keep trying to better it.
This is the longest, and most fun I have got out of an App.
Very well done!

For weeks, I have been debating whether I should buy this game or not and the price wasn't an issue. I just wasn't sure if this game would be fun. Man, I was dead wrong. This is such a simple game but it is really challenging and wow addictive! I finally decided to buy this game today cause I was bored and before I knew it, I had wasted bout 2 hours trying to land as many planes as possible. Don't waste your time reading this review and go buy this game. Believe me, you won't regret it!!! Thanks for the new update it's great 

Addictive and simple game keeps you playing it for hours. I was amazed to see how simple yet engrossing the concept of the game is. Very fluid graphics and definately worth the money!
Best Features
- Smooth Graphics
- Collision Alert is pretty good.
- Can change the aircraft direction very quickly.
- Helicopters add some twist in the game
Some Features that can be improved
- Include more airports with different runway layout.
- Gradual build up of levels (with varied difficulty) and some kind of rewards etc.

This game is not very good because the Airplanes come out of weird places on the map, Jumbo Jets go really fast, helicopters are very slow, and not alot of maps. If some of you get mad really easily don't get this app. The Good part of this game is Good Graphics, Game does not crash, The Game gets harder, You can choose if you want to play your own music, Makes a beeping noise if the Airplanes get to cloose to another Airplane, and Has some nice Airports. Some of the Airports are harder then other Airports. This game should have a Warning if a Jumbo Jet is coming on the map and a Warning if a Helicopter is coming and should also make a beeping sound when a Jumbo Jet comes. Jumbo Jets are really fast in this game and the other Airplanes are kind of slow. The Helicopters are really slow. It would also be cool if we could post our score on Facebook.

This game is so much fun! Very challengeing but also very very addicting, you most def. Sould get it. Just one thing to change to make it even more super..... 1. Be able to change airport 2. Maybe like a ground view of the planes coming in would be really cool 3. The music is way to short, def. Need more types, and for it to stay on longer Make those changes and this could be the best app in the world :)

Flight Control is awesome!!! The object of the game is to safely land everything that comes at you by touching the object and creating a "flight path" with your finger. Sounds easy, but the game picks up and before you know it, you have 10 objects in the air to land and no space to put em'!!! Watch out, because they come from every edge of the screen. More airports and a global high score list would make this one of the best .99 cent games out there. Get it while it is on sale. Great job!!!!

Best game on the iphone and possibly one of the best games ever! All the positive reviews are well deserved. It is so simple yet beautiful and has that unknown x-factor like tetris, bringing order to chaos! My flatmate beat my high-score and I played it constantly for 2 weeks until I reclaimed my title! It was worth it! If you don't buy it you are an idiot and I am wasting valueable Flight Control time talking to you!

This is almost as awesome as chocolate cake, and I'm pretty darn big on chocolate cake. I reckon they'll be playing this in heaven, except it'll be way more advanced and on a crazy advanced iPod, something like 50th generation 1,000,000GB iPod. Sometimes I put my ipod in the garden and let the ants walk on the screen so that they can pretend they are standing on the wings of the planes and flying around the country, it's really cool.

I can't believe somebody gave it one star? Its well written, easy to use, fun, clever and will waste you life if you are a busy person.
Yes we need a version 2 with more airports/scenerios and it would be great if you are listening Mr Developer to have an option to ramp up the hardness more slowly so you can play for longer.
A great app.
(Best score 84 airplanes landed, worst crash: 5 planes at the same time :-( )

Love this little game - simple and east to pick up, but hard to master. Best of all, it doesn't punish you unfairly - when there is a mid-air collision, you know that it was because you weren't observant and quick enough! I'd like to see a few more features in updates: Bonuses for smooth flight paths (i.e. passenger comfort) Bonuses for fuel saved Emergency landings - medic helicopters, planes with low fuel, etc. - which must get priority Wind effects - flying into a headwind slows planes down Different airfields - random layout? Scoring to include number of passengers landed, vs. crashed

This game has just became allot more fun with the addition of Multi-player. I have been taking a break from Flight Control and playing other titles like “Harbor Master.” However, flight control has taken the cake. The addition on multiplayer has just taken this game from good to great in my book. It makes for hours of fun at family gatherings. Specifically playing my father, which thinks his 98 plains landed is a feat. This game can capture an audience of all ages including a school administrator, who would have ever thought that.

This was already a 5-star in my book, with tons of replay value of the "let me just see if I can land 1 more" variety. But the new update with additional fields is *fantastic* and the fast forward neatly solves the only barrier to replay, having to trudge through all the easy landings to get back to where there are 12 planes in the sky and you are scrambling to get them all safely landed. This is simply a must have app.

Very addicting...be warned!

My friend suggested this simple game so I downloaded it. Yes, it is very simple game with one simple goal: direct all of aeroplanes and helicopters to the designated runways and landing pad safely. Is it that simple? Well, no, you've heard of rush hour traffic, right? That's what happened once in a while with slowpoke helicopter and superfast Jumbo Jets thrown in the mix with not-so-fast jets and small aeroplanes. So much fun!
The other neat feature is that Flight Control has its website and forum where you can see who has the highest score (about 6000 in Czech Republic) and what tips to peruse in achieving higher and higher score.
Once you started, you can't stop trying to top yourself off. Please don't buy it if you are experiencing or having the addiction problem...consider yourself duly warned!
PS There is some issues of inconsistency, especially with some of close proximity of flying objects that would end the game for some scenarios but would not end the game for other scenarios. That needs to be fixed.

WOW! I don't think i have ever bought a game off itunes that i have played on soo much. Flight Control is so addictive and fun to play. Everyone in my family has iphones/ipod touches, and we all have this game and are constantly playing on it to see who can get the best score. It's a bargain for only 59p! Im sure you'll all love it, definatley an excellent buy! SO BUY IT BECAUSE YOU'LL LOVE IT!!! x

I rarely write reviews usually cos I cbb but this time I am. The game is an excellent idea with an witty and addicting aspect. It's slick gameplay and simple but amazing graphics add to the comic type plot . I became addicted to the game and had been playing it or about a month when I received a text message saying "you have to get flight control I'm addicted I'll pay for it for u" I replied instantly with my view on it and we sent the odd text to each other updating the other family member on our latest score . Most of my mates at school love it and the high scores are often broken and competition arises. I love it everybody buy . I like the idea of new maps though. And maybe a new plane.

This game is top notch. The graphics are nice enough and the game is very simple, but very addictive! You play the role of an air traffic contoller and you have to land the planes on the relevant runways as they enter the screen. You do this by drawing a line from the plane to the start of the runway and the plane will follow the line exactly as you have drawn it. The further you get the more planes enter the screen and you have to do your best not to crash them! I'd recommended it to anyone. Great fun for 59p!

love this game. this was the first app I got addicted to. And version 2 is no expection. Beautifully executed simplicity. addicted fun doesn't have to be fancy. Gfx are great and perfect for this type game...any more detail or 3-d would have been distracted. there is an odd frantic but power hungry panic and greedy satification that takes over if you are able to land planes while the skies are packed. One more time, one more plane.. myuahahaha!!!

*********At first I looked at the game information, it looked so cheap n cheesey!!!! So I looked at the reviews and I said for 99 cents I'll try it and see what all the hype is about!! Because I play slot of games,and let me tell you I dowloaded the game and first game I landed 25 planes and after that I was hooked I could not put the game down!!!!! Very addictive I kept trying to beat the planes I landed last game!!! I can't belive how fun this game is!!! I also seen slot of great ideas in reviews, have night landing with runways that light up bad weather, but I can't belive some of these scores? Unless they have been playing for a couple days!! Kudos to the developer!!!!!! I highly say you better get this game before the price goes up!!! Something so simple gets very hard when the skies become very busy!!! I look foward to many updates!!!! Then I would give this game 10 stars!!!! Get it while it's HOTTTTTT!!! Some one wrote he landed 5978 planes I haven't seen that high on line yet! Most I landed was 187 and ghat was very hard!

....one of the best examples of how the iPhone has changed everything. I heard the interview with Merrick and Rosso and downloaded as soon as I got home. It is also on my wife's iPhone and my daughters iPod touch and they are thrashing me. I guess it's true. Women really multitask better than men. Update: there are two things required to improve this app. 1. Save my game if I click the home button 2. Stop draining my battery if I sleep and forget to exit the game.
