The complete version of this game must be the most complete game for iPhone! It's so close to the real GTA! Like in the real one, I liked to mess around and do whatever I wanted. Fantastic! For me, the graphics are very good considering the devices that runs it. It would need some polishing though... Sometimes there is problems with the 3D. Great job guys, and keep the full version cheap! I might buy it! ;-)

This is the best game I have. My favorite was once Hero of Sparta but now this is. The fun in this never ends. There are so many cool missions including: Stealth, Assasinations, Delivering Stolen Cars To People, And Many More!!! This game does have blood, drugs, and swearing in it so little kids, DO NOT BUY!!!! But I love this game and will be getting the full version right away!! Thanks for reading!!!!!!! GET THIS GAME

Tank mission... Spoilers

I guessing this is the best mission in payback lite. Don't read if you want to find it yourself. In the beginning of the game go to the phones like it tells you. Don't answer the phones but instead go on the highway next to the phones. Keep going and turn on the first left turn on the road. Then make a right. Go down the road and you'll see a phone ringing on the left. The mission will be to nick a tank from the military base and cause as much destruction as you can. You'll complete the mission in about 5 seconds. You can keep the tank for the rest of the game.

FLAMETHROWER

I know how to get the flame thrower on the lite version, BUT IF THERE IS ANYONE WHO WANTS TO FIND THE FLAMETHROWER ON THEIR OWN DONT READ THIS REVIEW. There is a standard mission on the lite version which you have to follow the boss in his limo as a bodygaurd. Where you first see him is in a parking lot (on the soccer field side). Behind this parking lot you will see a big building in the shape of a ramp. Ride this ramp untill the jump and jump angled on to the edge wall of the whole city. Go forward for a little then take a left at the corner and keep going. Finally you will see the wall stop and all there is left is a info peice and a box. The info piece basically tells you congrats. Then get the box and you'll find the flamethrower. I'm not sure this is the only spot for flamethrower ammo, if it isn't please tell me because there is only 75 ammo. By the way awesome game

This is a great game! I used it A LOT but then i got sorta bored. Could use more levels or different things to do. A different camera position would be good. I like how it has hidden phones. My favorite one is the one where u steal the millatary TANK and get to DESTROY almost everything!! Has anyone else found that hidden phone mission?? Anyway this game is pretty good but COULD do with some changes. 

I would definitely get the full version but I'm not spending that much money. How to get flamethrower- get fastest car (begins with a v) go to the corner where you start the mission in which you have to escort the boss. There's a building that has a roof like a ramp, jump off it at an angle so you land on the 'wall' drive to the end and there will be an info thing and the flame thrower and then water. Wala!

AMAZING...GOING TO GET FULL VERSION SOON!!!

To tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting much. Rarely do game ports work out, but this one is jaw-dropping. It's much better than any overhead GTA version because it is 3D models and buildings. Some people may complain about the controls but I find the controls easy and fun to use. I would recommend you first check out this lite version, which offers one whole city. If you like it, which I most certainly did, then go get the full version. I don't think I've ever played my iPod for so long consecutively until I download Payback. I'm going to get the full version soon! 5 STARS FROM ME!!!

this game is amazing, I love it and I play it every day, #2 app on my iPhone 3G. the num 1 is imob , great game add me 124-531-050 level 42 . so anyway back to payback, really apex where is the pay- in the back, I mean come onnn, if there is no place to buy anything, then that just defeats the whole purpose of earning cash, also I would pay 10$ for online nationwide play on this game. this game is a great concept, trust me I am a worldwide game developer for sony and Im with incognito entertainment and one of the most fabulous games that we have published to the playstation three is warhawk, the ONLINE shooting game that allows you to chat with freinds while in gameplay, and I think that if that is possible with the speaker on the iPhone 3G. make it happen, also make his punching quality a little bit better, also make a slowmotion option in instant replay mode, also I know this is the lite version, but make lamborghinis and also in the store make it available for you to buy pot or liquor that will blur your vision momentarily depending on how much you buy, oh and make many other different camera angles and the weapons people and kills look more realistic, and make the cops actually chase you, it's too easy, that is why you should make a different level option, easy ,normal ,crazy, and insane, make a skatepark level in the paid version, and also make it to where you can costomize your vehichles and characters, also make a mall and an airport levels, so that u can fly planes, also make it to where you cannot glitch on a corner and just go bam bam bam a million times, also make it to were when you select the respawn button make it to where you don't get torched, I have just listed a very numerous amount of ideas both for the lite and paid version, take note to all of them, oh I forgot, also make garages that you can actually see inside of, and make it to where when you are online, you can meet people and buy houses and go to there houses and have fun and you could have like a friend code option then like add all these friends and invite them to a big party at your stolen beach house, and make it to where it can be night, and make a beach and lots of stores to rob, look up saints row and you'll also get alot of good ideas from that game too, well since my internet is down and the paid version is 228 megabytes I cannot connect to my wifi network and purchase it, but when I get the chance I will, ok thank you to all that read this entire review, you know what I feel like doing right now, playing some payback.

Love gta!and this game is really great,different cars go at different speeds and their are loads of spaces to explore and the missions are quite nice and varied!defo worth the downloads and plus it's free...although the full version will have more,so just off to buy that now..will write a reveiw on that too as I read reviews and still aren't sure if something worth all the money..so il buy it and try it:D

I got the tank and the flamethrower!!! Flamethrower: Go to the payphones from the first mission. Go straight across the street and there is a "secret passage" behind the red building. Get a car in there an take the ramp at full speed. As your in the air tilt to the right to try and get on top of the border. (it might take a few tries) When your finally on top of the border, just follow the border...until you get to a secret box that contains a flamethrower! ;) Tank: I don't remember where exactly, but after you do all the free missions, there will be another payphone ringing. (It doesn't show on the map) Go to it and it tells you to take the tank from the military base. It takes like 5 seconds to complete the mission, and afterwards you can cruise with the tank and create mass destruction! :D Hope I helped!

Best app available to the public. But I'm not here to praise the game. Instead I'm going to help some of you who already have it (if not, I recommend you do so) Flamethrower: Near the first level payphones, infront of the highway; there is a "secret" passage-way that will lead you to a bunch of boxes containing: pistols, shotguns and grenades. Forget about the boxes and go onto the game's border. (Run into it at full speed) Drive forward until you reach the end of the wall. There will be a box with a flamethrower and 75 rounds of ammo. Tank: Drive down the highway next to the first level payphones and make a left on your first chance, then keep going straight for about a block, creep forward slowly and you'll see to your left a payphone. The mission will tell you to "nick a tank from the military base" and once you acquire it, your mission is to "nuke" everything on your sight. Once you've completed the mission (which will take you about 5 seconds) you are free to roam around the city on an unlimited-ammo military tank. Those are the only "hidden" bonus I've yet found. If there are more, please tell us about it.

Awesome game, clocked the lite version but i keep playing it cause i have no money AND it is continuosly entertaining.
I played for nearly an hour trying to figure out how to get the box and info thing on top of the wall on the eastern end of the northern bridge, quite a good little puzzle there, apart from being constantly entertaining, the controls are great, graphics are quite good and gameplay is very GTA like...perhaps a weapons shop or a place to fix up your vehicle would be good, but perhaps thats in the full version?...Great work!!

This is a great GTA style game! However it could do with some changes. Firstly you should be able to knock over some of the fences. Secondly when being chased by the cops they should try to blow your car up by ramming it and only come out and shoot when you are still in the car. Lastly there should be a few more people on the streets..... Otherwise this is the best game I have seen on an iPhone/iPod touch!

This is probably the most fun and most replayable game in the app store. But there are a couple of problems: 1. The graphics are pretty bad, the people are too blocky, the building walls sometimes extend out of the building, my car looks like its going under another car when im realy jumping over it 2. Some of the missions have too short of a time limit 3. A car should stop when it is shot at 4. This is just my opinion but i think the faster cars slide way too much when you turn, Im not saying to take away the sliding because I love to slide, but give us a little more control

There's a tank which is pretty cool cus it's pretty much the best thing in the game. The flamethrower is pretty cool but it should have infinite ammo I think cus it's sort of hard to get but u only get 75 ammos. To get it u just Like the other guy said use the ramp behind the railing to get on the black wall that surrounds the course, then u just keep driving all the way around until you get to a box and a information icon. To the in game messege saying they would appreiciate it if u got the full version.drop dead, you don't care that we get it just that we pay you so shut up.

This is an all around amazing game. If uou are a fsn of fifst person RPG strategy games, then you are going to enjoy this game. The game is basically Grand Theft Auto for the iphone/ipod touchThe missions are fun to see how well you do, and can sometimes be extremely difficult even in the lite edition. Once you get bored of the repetitive missions given in the lite gsme, that doesmt mean that you are sick of the game. You can still test yourself on how many cops you can kill before getting cought, or how many cars you can blow up from a high rooftop. To me, the game is ectremely entertaining, and that most people would like it.
