A lot of fun! (with some challenges)
By: Markpdx503 - Sep 22, 2010
I have had a lot of fun playing this game! It gets extremely challenging pretty quickly. I almost gave up playing trying to beat level 35, but came back to it 2 weeks later and was able to beat it and am back in the swing. The developers should improve the line sensitivity. Too often, it won't except my "cut" when it is clearly in a playable position. Also, the red boxes can be frustrating as well when the lines are too close. All and all though, it's a great game and I highly recommend it.
Finally - something fun that makes you think as well
By: Aviris - Sep 13, 2010
I stayed up waaaay to late the night I picked this up - and only got halfway through the 2nd round. I introduced it to my kids last night and then had to implement 10 minute turns because they all wanted to play it. This last is great because it actually makes them think and strategize rather than run and gun or tilt the iPad all over the place (don't get me wrong, I like those games too). One of the better $1.06 purchases I've made. Keep them coming!

Just finished Chapter three about a minute before the time of writing this review. I must say that 59p that was spent really did pay off. It's about to get paid off even further. Everything in this game I would say is well planned out and the idea of this fame is phenomenal. Such a simple idea can turn out so big. However, there is just one thing that I would love to suggest that could be improved within this game, and that is to confirm the shape before completing the level, it is so frustrating to use your last pencil on a level but screw it up by adding another tiny piece onto the shape simply because you was just a millimetre off. And what makes it worse is that if you have gone over the goal or used your last pencil incorrectly, the level immediately fails and you have to redo the level again. It would be so much better to actually confirm whether if that is the shape you would like to use rather than having to redo the level simply because of one tiny piece.Apart from that, I would have to say what a great game, stop reading the reviews and go and buy it. You won't regret it.
Check the text guys & stop the blackmail!!!

There are a few funny mistakes in this game such as it calling a square a triangle and that you "can" draw over the restricted area instead of you "can't" but you can usually guess what the programmers intended :) great game nonetheless, do feel a bit blackmailed though into giving five stars as the game says, five stars will help them bring updates, but the app implies that this updated functionality already exists as tabs already there. Even without being blackmailed though i'd still give it five stars.
Best iPad Game to Date!
By: Kibbis - Sep 10, 2010
This game has excellent graphics, pleasing music, simple controls and plenty of puzzles. It is so addictive that you will find yourself picking it up and playing when ever you get free time. Those of you who complaining about doing it perfect but not advancing, maybe you need to go back to grade school. This game is very challenging, very rewarding and a must for any iPad owner. I would have gladly payed $4.99 for this title. My family and I have been fighting over the iPad ever since I bought this game. They were never even vaguely interested before!Buy this game and challenge your brain, it's good for you!

This is one of the best apps i have ever downloadedHighly addictive and extremely fun, this game is educational without kids knowingIt gets these awards
It's really fun

Wasn't sure what to think when I read the description but I figured with all the positive reviews I couldn't go that wrong for a buck. Well... It's actually a whole lot of fun and for the buck you can't go wrong. Well done, mind stimulating game that graphically is simple yet outstanding in it's presentation and polish. Simple concept that is well done and at least for me, will keep me entertained for hours to come.
Really neat and polished

However it SERIOUSLY needs the ability to manually submit a line. It's impossible to be pixel precise with your fingers. The last line auto submits so you can't undo.In a lot of cases it's almost impossible to draw a segment parallel with another segment of the shape, thus creating extremely tiny sections. The app should realize that forming a 1% or less section is probably not what I intended. Same with the intersection of a bunch of lines.
Simple app, lots of fun!

Pros:- Unified iPad/iPhone app...only need to buy once! (Thanks!)- Simple controls with puzzles that become more and more difficult.Cons:- Puzzles have to be solved in the manner envisioned by creator...but maybe I'm just bitter because I'm not clever. - Sound does not correlate to the pencil strokes when the level is drawn out...not that it matters.I love this app! It joins two others that I have given 5-star ratings to (iTeleport and FlightCtrl HD), due to its unified iOS form and great functionality.Keep up the good work!
I'm not exaggerating

I don't do 5* app reviews, mainly because when you first download an app you often think it's the best thing since the invention of gravity. But, let me tell you that this app is worth all 5 stars. When apps ask me to post a review I normally decline as 1.) I can't be bothered and 2.) I don't feel the need to let other people know, but with this app it's different. When I was asked to post a review at level 20 I was like "hell yeah", this app really is THAT good.So download it!
Quality design and innovation
By: icepulse - Sep 18, 2010
This game goes to show the importance of design in app development. The concept is simple, but instead of some gauche, inappropriate textures and vanilla menus, the whole feel is like shimmering, wiggling crayon art. Even the menus are beautiful. Of course, it helps that the game play is spot-on. THIS is the quality found on the DS, usually costing $20. Had I paid $19.99 for this on the DS, before the app store existed, I wouldn't have regretted it for a second. Bravo! The app store is a game-changing revolution, and an exercise in restoring sanity to game pricing.
This game is beast

Great game. Rascally developers.
By: JonnyCube - Sep 14, 2010
On the one hand, this is a fantastic game. It's a simple concept that's well-executed and a lot of fun. Well worth the price. On the other hand, I think it is totally unacceptable that the developer bribes its customers to give five-star reviews by means of an in-game message promising updates. App ratings are so people know how good an app is - not to incentivize the developer to give you more stuff. There should be a rule against developers doing this.Following my own rule here, I'm obligated to give this five stars, becuase it's a great piece of software. I don't, however, condone the bribery.

This game is fantastic, you do not only have the ability to complete the levels, but you are also able to get 5 stars or even a perfect! This game brings a lot of replay ability and it will b have it's place on my iPhone for a very long time. Can't wait for new updates even though I'm far from finishing the first 3 chapters! Nice work, however I would love to see the slice line become a little thinner so you can have a little more precision. Thanks.
I love this game !

Well I'm a new iPad user and this was the a first game i bought , there's nothing bad I can say about this game. Its fun for when your going nothing and your bored or when your waiting for something. It's really good quality I like the bright colors and I like how it looks like scribbles. It's cool I would recommend getting this games I think it's only .99 cents and for that price it's a fun and good challenging game
Both simple and very challenging
By: RKnopman - Sep 24, 2010
The idea of this game is crazy simple-- just divide the given shape into so many equal size parts. It starts out with easy examples and gradually gets more challenging. I've made it though the first set of puzzles. I did a lot of thinking about what slices would solve the puzzle, but never did I get frustrated. That in itself makes this a unique game.Other things i think are great about this game are that it challenges both abstract thinking (how to divide the shape evenly) precise hand-eye coordinations (position the cuts just so to get a perfect score). The game should have a lot of value to people learning geometry. And i love the graphical style of the game- it's kid-friendly without being over the top.Hats off to the game designers for an easy-to-learn, hard-to-master game that's well done all-around.
I can't put it down.
By: nO_cHIEFz - Sep 14, 2010
A really nice puzzle game that makes good use of the touch interface. It is extremely fun and very hard to put down once you've started but it can just as easily entertain you for just a few minutes. The puzzles are difficult but not impossible to solve. Even the hard puzzles can be solved with a few minutes work making it a great time filler in between meetings or whenever. One of the better puzzle apps in the store. Definitely worth the price!
I was doubtfu!

I honestly couldn't see why so many people would rate a simple geometry game with so many stars. I read the reviews.I watched the you tube videos. And I still couldn't possibly see how this would be any fun. I was so annoying curious I bought it just to see how stupid all you people for buying it. And guess what? I love it. I still can't understand why, but its really fun, challenging and addicting. Great game. If you're still on the fence and you can't understand why anyone would like this game like I couldn't, try it because you may be pleasantly surprised.

Fun and intellectual. Really like the concept, design and feel of the app. It gets tough pretty quickly. The only critique i have is that it's hard to sometimes draw a line at the right spot, which can lead to wrong sIzed pieces (red). This is mostly due to fingers being much bigger than a mouse pointer but I wonder if there could be a way to overcome this(option to zoom in?). Other than that I love this game!

My only problem is... When considering where to place a line I will hold it in various places and, when I reconsider I will move it off the shape. There is no way to cancel lines being currently held. My assumption is that since off the shape isn't a valid area it should just not do anything... But it will actually just randomly place the line on the shape wherever I happened to have held it the longest. While this wouldn't be a problem seeing as there is an 'undo' button... If its the last line it will finish the puzzle incorrectly thus making me have to start again.
