I wanted a solitaire app that was simple and fun and this is DEFFINITLEY both. All the reviews saying it's impossible to win are retarded, that or I just actually know HOW to play solitaire. The game is a little difficult and sometimes you have to reshuffle a few times before getting a hand that you can actually start with, but I think it's worth it because whats the point of a game thats so easy you get bored with it? Totally worth the money.

I bought this game thinking it was really difficult to win, based on some of the reviews I read. I'm not an expert solitare player, however I have about a 50% win rate for the single card version and a 13% win rate for the three card version which I think is probably equivalent to the rate I might expect if I were to deal out the same number of games with a regular deck of cards. So don' be scared off by those who say you can't win. Go for it.

This is exactly what I was waiting for ever since I first purchased my iPhone. This game (this version / the original and standard version) of the game was NOT found in the iTunes APP store so I waited and decided to look again just the other day and when I saw it available on November 10, 2009, I downloaded directly onto my iPhone via the iTunes store for the iPhone. It's nice to be able to play this game once again. It was a nice feature to hear the sound of the cards being shuffled -- good job on the APP. Thank you very much for making it available an an iPhone APP.

I've had this game since version 1.0. The improvements they have made are great, especially the card size and lock feature. My only concern is that since the last update it seems like the chances of winning have been reduced; not sure how they achieved that unless the shuffle isn't really random. I noticed they are hawking an upgrade ($$) which lets you win more often but I'll stick with this version and just deal more often. Nice programming. Kudos to the company for keeping the updates coming for no charge.

One of the best games available. However for this app to be 5 stars it needs to have the vegas version of solitaire (like on microsoft windows). You know the one, where you start with -$52 and each card you put to the top is worth $5. Each time you press new (shuffle) it deducts $52. that is what you call challenging! Introduce that and thiS app will be perfect. Edit: thanks for adding the vegas scoring. App now perfect. Keep up the good work.

This is my second review on this app and the updates really make this the best sol game in the store, I fully fully fully recomend this app. With the new landscape mode the producers prove they are really listening to the customers, whitch only really makes me want more! As I'm not the only person playing this game, me and friends would really like to see leader boards for both speed and number of moves in a future update. Abit like the leader board in the game "Tris" with local and net scores. Great work and great updates x

The gameplay experience is great. Clear graphics and good audio. I like having the option of choosing your own card background and board background. I like how you can choose different card types.There is only one thing this game lacks: the option to be told when there are no more moves left in the game. Please add this!One problem to fix: at the start of playing a new game, the sound of the cards being put down comes THEN the cards come afterwards. Please fix.

I bought this app very early on when it was $2.99 I believe in version 1.3. Since then the interface has be tweaked, many features have been added, and now what seems like a simple app has really made me feel very good about the money I spent.
I understand that there is an up-sell to a version of this game which only deals winning hands, but I would request this to be added to this as an option to this version.

I see that for a few dollars more you can upgrade to a version of this game where you win more often. So, on tthis basis, the game maker could presumably also make the game so you LOSE more often. Hmmm... Wotiff, in innocently downloading (say) an upgrade to the lower priced "standard" version, you were sent a game version (notional I'm sure) that loses more often. Wouldn't that kind of make you want to send a few more dollars to upgrade to the version that "wins more often"? And isn't deck-stacking kind of cheating? (Just wondering).

I like this game a lot because I feel like it's the first "truly random" solitaire game I've played. Yeah it's frustrating at times but winning is definitely not devalued. My only qualm with the game is the accelerometer controls. If you turn the game on it's head, I feel like it shouldn't change the orientation. I notice this when I'm laying in bed trying to play it. See the safari app for example: it doesn't rotate when you turn it on it's head and I think theres a reason for that.

Positives: 1.Cheap at 59p 2. Easy to use 3. Locking screen for portrait or landscape view Negatives: 1. No pause button 2. Own pics look stupid as they overstreched automatically makes game look tacky 3. Can't move cards (except a king) to an empty stack on windows version you can 4. Now that the card size has been fixed to an enlarged view, it is rather nice to play. Also recently, the function of undo was added which is great since I have many of those, "oops" moves!
Card play seems reasonable and random. One improvement I would like to see is once all of the cards are dealt out, why waste your time dragging 52 cards to finish the game. Add a button so that the program will do it for you.
Otherwise, lots of mindless fun.

I like this game because:
* "Traditional" look to cards
* Cards drag easily
* It doesn't have a lot of features that I would never use, like other versions of solitare or the ability to change the backs of the cards
* It is not "over-graphiced"; I like the "clean" look
* It was inexpensive One suggestion for version 1.3: a button on the bottom to advance the cards as well as on the top, so the finger won't get in the way.

This is really nice, and well worth the 59p! (In the UK here.)
Very easy to use, with nice landscape mode and smooth animations.
Before the latest version, the buttons were slightly odd-looking, but with the new version that's changed and it now looks great!
Three suggestions:
1. Make the settings screen looks as great as the gameplay screen (still uses non-standard UI elements)
2. Don't let the rotation of the game go upside down. This way you can lie on your side and play in landscape mode.
3. Swap out the "Info" button for a system-standard "settings" button, you know, the one with the cog...
Otherwise, a really great little app. Many thanks to MobilityWare for their efforts!

A bit disappointing, this one.
There is no landscape mode and the graphics are too small and rough around the edges.
The tiny size of the cards and the portrait orientation makes the game tiring and a bit of a fiddle.
It is very cheap, though. So if you want a bare bones solitaire this MIGHT do.
Its a crying shame there is no try before you buy option on the store - would have saved me £1.19p!
EDIT: I have used this app for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that I have used it much more than I thought. I would now say that it is, in fact, worth the price.
The app is fast to open and close making it very easy to jump in and play a quick round. Also it does not drain my batt half as fast as Platinum Solitaire.
Also: Now the app has been updated! The cards are now much easier to read and move. An excellent update.
I have raised my rating from one star to three, and if price is a major issue for you, I think even four stars would be about right.
EDIT2:
The second update (v1.2) has made this game better still.
The cards can now be placed quicker and with more accuracy, speeding up the gameplay and removing a lot (but not quite all) of the fiddling about.
This app has now moved from being a waste of my money (v1.0) to being one of my most used apps (v1.2)! Well done, Mr Developer!
If you want a good, fast game of Klondike this has now become the only app worth your time. Simple as that.
Finally;
This developer's attitude to supporting their app with intelligent updates speaks volumes of their respect for their users. Please support guys like this. Buy this app!
