To start I wanna say tapulous to add some beatles songs in there!!! This game is really good. Or at least i think so, a lot of these guys are making it so dramatic in their comments about the game like that one guy that started the review with once upon a time. It's so stupid and i don't understand how people are saying the interface is better cuz the one on this one i think is way better. Don't listen to those other comments i mean seriously this one is way better with way better music although i gotta admit some of its defects. Like all the good songs have to be bought which i thought was like oh darn but not like everyone else that was like "WTF "i miss the good 'ole days. One thing that really annoys me though in TTR3 is that you have to buy a bundle and you cant just buy one song i really think you guys should fix that! That's pretty much it, trust me guys if you like TTR get this its worth it

I've played the Tap Tap Revenge games ever since they were first introduced to the iTunes App Store. With each game they have gotten better and better. I think Tapulous has hit the home run out of the ballpark with this one. The game is only .99 compared to Rock Band's 9.99. There is an array of songs that you can download for free. The game play is fun and easy. Online play is pretty fun and the option to create your own character is a nice addition. This game should be the iPhone game of the year.

Forget what everyone else crying about paying 99 cents to download and money to download "good" songs. 99 cents is not bad to download a great app. And second if you don't want to pay for music that is premium then DONT! there is a huge free download section so just do that and play online and love the new online play with weapons and in game ranking. Looking forward to updates and keep up the great work!

No fence to Tap Tap2... But tap tap revenge 3(thats right... its si awesome youhave to write the whole thing out!) is so much beter than tap tap2! I mean come on uts muxh more planed out, and the screen issomuch easier to read... By that i mean when u r playinf it is so much easier to see... Like, for examle, when you are holding a tapper out, while simotaineouisly playing other notes yoi can actually see the othwr motes!!!!! After all thos really what i'm trying to say is... TAP TAP REVENGE 3 is..... AWESOME!!!!!!

I first discovered Tap Tap Revenge 2 in my search for free games that were similar to DDR/guitar hero, and I haven't regretted it yet. I think TTR3 has the potential to be even better than the previous version, especially once the remaining kinks are worked out and the song catalog is expanded.
So far, my experience with TTR3 has been pretty stellar - although I wish we had a list of all possible Achievements and their specific requirements, as the "Buy 10 items for your avatar" one doesn't seem to work after my buying ten things for my avatar.
Also...all of the people rating it 1 and 2 stars just because you have to buy some of the songs in the game have no idea how the Music Industry works and how they have to go about getting songs for games like this. It's not as simple as Tapulous asking AFI if they can use their song - they actually have to pay someone something in order to use the songs, typically, and even the ones they give us for free are probably songs they had to pay for the license to use. Do your research before you complain about something, please?

No doubt this is a great improvement on one and two but there isnt much added to it that you cannot live without. The interface is much better and if anything is the best reason for purchasing. The avatar thing is kind of dumb if you ask me but hey its better than not having any at all. The one thing I dont like is they charge for a lot of tracks now which we have apple to thank because of "In app" sales.
Overall if I think its better than the first and second

I just wish in future updates you will be able to buy track packs with your coins. Maybe 200,000 for a 2 song track pack and 600,000 for a 6 song track pack. Also the ability to disable themes for downloaded content would be nice. The themes for some track packs are preventing me from buying them. The newest installment in the Tap Tap series is exceptional, with avatars and chat rooms. I give it an A+ for this reason. However, it lags and is often slow when I try to buy items for my avatar or new music. Also, it lacks the ability to buy many songs in a level or by an artist at once, as previous versions allowed us to do. I would like to see these problems fixed in future updates, especially the packaged downloading of many songs.

Best game of the series. I have every single game of theirs and they are all great. The addition of the avatar is very cool for people who enjoy dressing up something cool, stupid, or like them. And then the last the coins is cool to let you dress up your avatar and give them items and gives you power ups. So to end it a great game like this should be bought by all or love music. Keep on making good games Tapulous.

This is an amazing game you can create your own avatar, play against friends on the same device or play against people across the world online also you can chat to people on the new chat rooms. It's really fun to play and the better you are the more coins you get which you can use to get items for your avatar or more songs and there's a wide variety of acheivememts to unlock for more coins and it keeps you hooked for longer thanks so much tapulus! :)

Tap Tap Revenge 3 really did blow me over. At first, I expected not much of an advancement from Tap Tap Revenge 2. When I learned about in-game Avatars and the new tracks, I was shocked. Tapulous haas taken their great series to a new level. AFI, Coldplay, Fall Out Boy and Dashboard Confessional are all a blast to jam to! The new graphics engine is pretty amazing as well. 16x multiplyers bring a new standard of scoring to the game; you might even hit over a million points!
All in all, Tap Tap 3 alone could sell an iPod Touch.
Strongly Reccomend.

While there are some differences, for better or worse, between TTR 2 and TTR 3, it is still worth getting if you're a fan of the game.The vest thing is that Tapulous listens to their users. If you've got an idea or need to report a bug/crash, Tapulous and other users help out. Just go to their getsatisfaction page.So while the library of songs is small, just remember that bot TTR and TTR 2 had small libraries when they first came out. Given time to grow, TTR 3 will become better.

This is a totaly awesome game which takes all the good things from TTR and TTR2 and adds more to it. There are more than 100 free tracks and a free premium song every week so I think that this is one of the best apps on here! However, one thing i would like to ask is why bother putting in in-app purchases when you can get the songs you have to pay for on TTR3 on TTR2 for free!? Appart from that, great fun :)Impossible to put down! *****

Love the interface and its very appealing, everything flows and not really any glitches, just needs a download all button so we don't have to download one by one, and hopefully they add importing of tracks like in ttr2, but overall it still gets .Hahait's funny seeing all the people who thought they got the first review, but they forget it has to go through itunes first! 

Here is the entirety of my previous review of the game: To anyone debating whether or not to purchase Tap Tap Revenge 3, be warned. This game is VERY addicting. Although I realize that the same doesn't apply to everyone who owns this app, this game is by far my favorite and I can easily play this game for hours at a time. Also, although a few songs that were available for free in previous versions of Tap Tap are only available in premium track packs as in-app purchases in Tap Tap Revenge 3, I can't complain as they are well worth the money. I have already purchased a number of track packs and am not dissapointed in the least. The main reasons to buy this game would be as follows: the overall look and feel of the game, online features, avatars, themes, inclusion of experience points to gain levels and coins to purchase avatar items, and of course the always great (and free) featured track of the week. New songs are added often and although stated otherwise in at least one of the previous reviews, experience points and coins are awarded for games completed while playing without Internet once you play again with Internet.And now for the addition: Ok, I still say that this is easily the most addicting game that I own, but there are a few issues that I'm having. 1- sometimes (however, very rarely) the game doesn't recognize the Internet connection, 2- when resuming after having the game paused for maybe 2-4 minutes, the music will stop completely (after playing normally for a few seconds) for the rest of the song, 3- although I'm quite sure that this is unavoidable, the very rare occassion in which audio files become corrupt (I believe that I have only ever experienced this issue once) is a bit of an annoyance (but be assured that you will never have to pay for any premium songs a second time if they become corrupt), 4- occassionally the rankings while playing an online game will be incorrect (however, I believe that this may be unavoidable and due to differences in how far players are into the song due to alerts, low battery messages, pausing, etcetera; I believe that the shown ranking is only based on current scores, without taking into account the players' positions in the song which is seemingly unavoidable unless every participant were forced to pause gameplay when any of the other player's game became interrupted)Overall, realize that the positives strongly outweigh the negatives and that, despite these few bugs, Tap Tap Revenge 3 is easily worth 5 stars, and even if you weren't a huge fan of the other Tap Tap Revenge games (which to be completely honest, I played very rarely) this game is far superior in quality and enjoyable gameplay to virtually every other .99 cent app.

It is Amazing. Much better than tap tap 2 . It is sometime laggy but that can be fixed. Why is everyone complaining about that you have to pay for songs. There is FREE songs. There is something like 200 or 100 free songs and that is more than tap tap 2. With a new song coming out every week FREE it is the same as tap tap 2 so why are people saying there is no free songs and tap tap 2 has songs which are free and good. The first free song of the week is by fall out boy!!!!!! Which is good!!!!!! And the paid songs you can get two songs for 59p. 59p!!!!! Thats not much if you are willing to buy for songs in guitar hero or rock band which many people do. This is an amazing game and I dont see why people are complaining. Think of it if you liked tap tap 2 then you will love this it has avatars, new gameplay features, coins for rewards and more. Everything is more. Just buy it is the same as tap tap 2 just LOADS better with new features. Buy it you won't regret it also another free song!!!! Tap tap domination remix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All well known songs are paid :l and also you should be able to import music from your itunes library and/or if you import a song thats on the taptap store already then taptap will get rid of the import and download the same themed song of taptap store! This would give it 5* but because all the good songs are paid......3*P.S i rated five so it stays a top app longer but i personally think 3*

And more.You can play Premium tracks from all kinds of well-known music such as Blink 182 by purchasing them.You use points for avatar customization and guessing themes later on!!Nice job but keep the unknown music in there for free! I love the TTR2 collection!Quit complaining you cheap people! If this was free you guys would complain that there was a lack of well-known music. Now that you get the music you wanted you don't want to pay for it??? You have to charge money to get these types of songs in mass amounts in a very short time. The free section seems to keep updating and growing every few hours so yeah no lack of free stuff.A must for all music rythem lovers!

The gameplay is really fun and the ranking system is cool, but I don't really like the whole avatar thing. Most of all I don't like the songs at all and how you had to pay money to get good songs. In Tap Tap Revenge 2 nearly all of the songs were AWESOME and free!!! I just wish we could recover all of the songs from Tap Tap Revenge 2. It would also be awesome if we could choose weather to play the themed version of a song or the original view. There also seems to be a problem with the tap registration sometimes, for example I would tap a note and it would just slide on by and count as a miss. Tap Tap Revenge 3 is still the greatest game for the Ipod!!!
