The classic game and been perfectly made into this great app! The fun gameplay and it's great looks make for a fun experiance. Plus the game is different everytime you play it, with the different occupations and homes. But the game dosent last too long... In about 15-30 minutes you can finish a whole game (vs AI), with fast forward turned on (game gets boring with out it on). But that said, this $5 is well worth the fun. Playing with friends even better, compeating for the better jobs and houses, and sueing eachother makes for a better and more entertaining 'Game of Life'! A great game = A great price 5/5 ™®©

Okay I'll admit it I'm a sucker for classic board games. Yahtzee, I have it. UNO, got that one. Scrabble, I play it often. Life, you best believe I have it too. I see they have classic Monopoly out and Batleship in the works. Oh my poor pocketbook.But if $5 is then only woe this game gives you then it's well worth it. Sure, it eats the battery when you group play but what app that you need to see all the time doesn't? The gameplay is simple enough that a nine year old can have fun with it. It seems now only the computer can make long term investments and yet it still wants you to spin for yours at the end. That aside, this is a great game for the family. Just be sure to plug in or charge that battery first.If you like classic games like I do, then Life is well worth the $5 price.

Most of these reviewers don't remember playing the real game. This is a slick game and well worth the price. The graphics and operation of the game are really neat and yes it would be nice to be able to buy insurance but I'm sure that eventually this feature will be included also. For all those folks who gave this a negative rating, get a life! Most of you didn't even give credit for how nice and how fun it is to have the affects of driving in the snowstorm during game play, wedding bells sounding when you get married or children crying when you acquire a child. The developer has done a great job. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing updates for a few more features but love playing the game!

I really like this app. My only question is how do you buy long term investments? Like someone else asked,"Am I missing something?" The computer players always have them. Are human players not allowed to? If we are allowed, then please explain how to get them in the directions. Or explain why we can't.This app would be better if we could purchase life, fire and auto insurance too.Overall this app is very nice. Great graphics. I am happy I purchased it!

Really well done board game. EA is killing it with the best aps. Can't wait for original monopoly an madden to come out I'm sure they will be sick.. This game should have an option to be longer. To short. Have the option to loop the board or somthen.. Needs more options or somethen. Just seems to small. Short or not enough game. The spin wheel is nasty. Realy realy well done. Really responsive. Thanks EA

Although this game Is not as great as the original computer version that most of you probably got in a cereal box, I'll have to admit that this game can keep anyone occupied for hours. The graphics and realistic paths of life are what makes the game addicting. It brings back so many memories and is fun to play with friends. Overall, 5*

Loved playing this game as a kid. It does not really require skill but it is still fun to play with someone who played it too as a kid. Played this with my girlfriend. She won. But I got some after so it was worth the shame of losing.

Wow I'm surprised, this is a really good game. A definite buy. It's great how you can "skip" and "fast forward" other people's turns and you can play right away. Although the fast forward could be slowed down a little. Graphics are simply supurb, and it doesn't crash at all. I highly recommend it, even the ones that never played this should consider playing it. For $5, it's almost a steal.

Ok so this is definetly in my top 15 fave apps on my ipod. Great gameplay, amazing graphics, doesnt seem buggy, great for the car ride! Just two suggestions for the (hopefully coming soon) update:-more choice of characters-being able to name your characterEVERYONE should buy this application!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I like the game of life Now will make sure when I have kids they play that. Oh yeah and I found long term investments I guess click on you picture or any scroll to long term investment click buy one and do it why are so many people having trouble finding this? I'm oblivious
