I love It By: Evelas - Nov 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 I waited so long for this game. Since I had it on my Windows Mobile device, I couldn't put it down. This is great port with great graphics great gameplay, simply great... Jets'n'guns and Larva Mortus are now the only games that I miss. (Jets'n'guns a Larva Mortus, slyšíte? Potom už ten iPhone nepoložím :-D)Update: To all of you, who are saying that this is copy of The Quest, you are wrong. They're different games. Undercroft focuses on story and jokes and The Quest is absolutely free-roam. Undercroft has got better graphics and you control a group of adventurers, in The Quest you control only yourself and the graphics are pixelized. Yes, The Quest is larger, but you can get lost easily. In my opinion, Undercroft is better than The Quest, because It's classic old-school turn-based RPG.
Really fun - Better than I expected. By: KitKatBar. - Nov 1, 2009 Version: 1.0 I decided to give this a try because i really like RPG games. I enjoyed it more than I expected. The art looks nice and the control setup is very clean and easy to understand. The map is very clear and I never found myself lost. The enemies were tough but the only one I couldnt defeat was an ice skeleton that kept freezing me. I ended up just locking it behind a door and using a magic stone to teleport out of the dungeon without fighting it. I also tried the demo for The Quest. I thought I'd give it a try after reading some reviews. It was a bit of a disappointment. It had more animations compared to Undercroft but the art is pixely and a bit grating on the eyes. It didn't have a tutorial and I found myself very confused on what I should be doing. The control setup and the map was rather confusing as well. After wandering around and trying to figure out the map I removed it from my itouch. So overall I think Undercroft is much better. I will be defiantly be purchasing the full version of Undercroft when it goes on sale.
Surprisingly fun, Great iPhone implementation By: Jeremy Clarke - 29-Oct-2009 Version: 1.0 I've never really enjoyed or gotten games like this on PC etc. but this one is really fun and easy to play. Obviously the 3d is simplified, but the whole combat engine is really interesting and just complex enough to keep D&D fans interested, without being so detailed as to become obnoxious, at least in the demo. Remember to use your map a LOT. Without it its so easy to get lost and not be able to find things, but with it you can stop spending your time on movement and focus on items, enemies and quests.
enjoable but make sure you enjoy mazes By: dryden555 - Oct 27, 2009 Version: 1.0 This really is a great old-style RPG but personally the "running around a maze looking for hidden doors and then looking for buttons and not finding it and then stepping on a teleport square" got old after about 10 hours. It was really fun for that 10 hours though, hence the 4 stars. I would have prefered something more like the PC Might and Magic 6, which was more about combat and less about mazes but that's just me.
Cloned By: Mr. Strategy - Oct 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 This is very much a clone of The Quest, same graphics, same basic play, same concept, but I like the uniqueness of four charcters instead of one, but I would like to see better animations. The only things you see are arrows, melée weapons need to be noticed too. I would also like to see the skeleton I summoned. This game should be more like avernum IV, where you can actually see your characters and see many more animations. I also think your pack needs a weight limit, right now you can carry everything in the game without giving a damn. Overall, it is a descent game, but needs a lot of work.
Great game By: CTC74 - Nov 17, 2009 Version: 1.0 Once u play this, u have to upgrade to the full version!

An old school rpg By: JohnDeHope3 - Nov 10, 2009 Version: 1.0 This is the rpg I've been waiting for. Do remember The Bard's Tale? Wizardry? You'll be right at home. But this is no copy-paste from 15 years ago! They've really advanced the UI and character advancement. I can't wait to play the full game!
Great game By: Buckn@$Ty - Nov 3, 2009 Version: 1.0 This a great iPhone game. It brings back memories of the hours I spent playing games like Eye of the Beholder, and even Bards tale.
Get this game By: Escapedsoul01 - Nov 2, 2009 Version: 1.0 Best game that I have played. This game is just easy enough for a casual gamer like myself. I tried the other game like this and was turned off by how big it was. So hands down, if you're looking for an rpg look no further.

Good game By: bomburns007 - Oct 25, 2009 Version: 1.0 I'm pretty picky about what I like and I like this game. I plan on getting the full version if I'm able finish the lite version. It's addicting to play.
Good old school game By: kristeve - Oct 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Buy the full version.
Hours of well designed escapism By: Jaded_fiction - 20-Nov-2009 Version: 1.0 I got so into this game, it took over my life for over a week. The free version gave me about 6 hours, but then I'm not a hardened rpg player. Then bought the full version, which took me about 25 hours in all. Great value from both.
