I hesitated to download because of some of the brutal reviews. By the time I got through reading them, as much as I wanted to, I thought my iPhone would blow up and burst into flames, lol. I went ahead and downloaded it, something must have been updated because it worked perfectly. It contained more info than I expected and was quick. No crashes, no freezing, no bursting into flames, LOL. I highly reccommend it. For those who had problems. I would suggest giving it another try.

I don't know if I'm lucky or haven't done any of the things that may trigger a crash yet, but mine works fine and it is a great app. Would even be worth paying for as far as I'm concerned. I was totally hesitant to download after reading all the bad reviews but ventured forth boldly and I am not disappointed. Maybe they are from competing first aid app developers who are losing business. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men...but you can find out in the heart section of this app :P

Excellent application, great visual instructions particularly for CPR and text instructions. I found the whole application extremely useful and definately worthwhile. As a first aider I felt it could easily be used by someone who is not first aid trained, particularly the CPR aspect. This application is full of interesting areas and keeps things focused on what is required, especially in the first aid area. Although its geared towards the American users I didn't feel as if it detracted anything from me as a UK user. What was also interseting is that this also had the most upto date CPR information.and what to do if you're alone.in a crisis. Another interesting feature is recognising what tablets they are by coulour, size and branding. With regards to the body and pinpointing your pain onto it, it allows the user to look at what could be wrong with their body, both internally and externally. The only complaint I have is the Zip code, however simply putting in the code 90210 solved that problem. ;) I found the whole programme extremely enlightening, with great graphics and instructions. Thanks very much for allowing this to be free. I think it will be very helpful to everyone irrespective of their level of medical knowledge. I experienced no crashes guiding through the various screen and it does exactly what it says quickly without problems. Well done. I recommend this application to anyone.

This is a must have app and it's free .. it's a pretty damn good app with lots of detail and a really good interface .. I use this app all the time .. don't know why there are ppl complaining that it crashes .. I use to find I had various apps crash on me from time to time .. I downloaded a memory manager that would free my memory when low and now I can't recall the last time a app crashed.. Btw this app has never crashed on me even before the memory program I installed .. it's a must have stop complaining they should be charging for this app I gladly would have paid for this ..

Had been having some health issues related to the cold that would not go away. And as things seem to be getting better with my cold the my head chest and arms were beginning to go sore and numb. Turns out I was overdosing on some of the prescription meds. thanks to webmd I looked up the side effects of the meds and realized my problems. If it wasn't for this app I wouldve continued to take the meds and things couldve been much worse. this app is a must have.

There are many symptoms to choose from and normally comes up with the correct illness.The first aid part of this app contains so many illnesses and treatments from bruises to snakebites.The only problem with this application is that it occasionally crashes.Overall, this is a worthwhile app that you should download. You never know, it may come in handy some day ;)

Unlike 99% of these reviewers, i've had absoultly no crash issues. i've had this app for a few months now, and i love it. i can't honestly say i use it daily but there was definitly quite a few times when i needed to quickly look a medication up or find information on some symtoms. The only reason i didnt give five stars is because i believe there should be an option to type in a diease or abnormailty and read about it, rather then finding it through symtom checker. But i still recomend it!

Ok, this App is free so I’m not inclined to dog it in its current form. I was able to identify a few pills I entered based on somewhat vague values of shape and color and it was fairly accurate! The explanations of symptoms aren’t half bad either.
Still, I would like to see a more robust version and I agree with another reviewer that it would be very useful to have a section for personal notes, medications, medical condition, contacts, etc.
Sidebar: In my view, Medical Apps are the most underdeveloped on the App Store. This category remains as a golden opportunity for developers.

I find this application extremely useful when I'm traveling and don't have access to my computer. It is an application every person should have with them. I hope that WebMD will release more applications in the future.

As a Nursing student I find this app to b very useful. Especially the drug book like option with ur basic information about a drug! Excellent app, can't believe it is a free one. Works well, no crashes, no freezes.. I have nothing negative to say about it. :) must have app, especially if u are nursing or medical student. Get this app and epocratesRX.. and u will b set.
