Reviews:
You delivered exactly what i need. By: Ndolo - Aug 2, 2009 Version: 1.03 This is my first review about an application that I have purchased from the app store. I have many great applications on my iPhone but being a cooking enthusiast I am compelled to write a review about this particular application. I have been looking for an application that lets me store my personal recipes and automatically creates a shopping list of the items that I need to buy. I have tried many other applications but none has fulfilled my requirements. Finally, All My Recipes fulfills my needs. Thank you very much. Keep up the good job.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! *****!!!!! By: jenny = mc^2 - May 23, 2009 Version: 1.0 I LOVE this app! it's waaaaaa-aaaaaaay better than any other cooking\recipe app. I really like all the recipes that come with it, and the photothingie that lets you take pictures is cool. Every thing looks really pretty, the graphics are nice(shiny...). The interface is super easy to use, also. it’s very very simple to add new stuff, and it’s quite intuitive. @Troy: yeah, those things would be cool, but I checked the developer website, and I think that this is the fisrt app they’ve released. Plus, this is only 1.0. heck, I think it came out about a week ago! it’s a shame that more people aren’t downloading it…. : ) great app!
Good (V. 1.0) By: Troy.Chevalier - May 19, 2009 Version: 1.0 It’s a good app, useful for keeping all those recipes together. (No lite version though. A free one that restricts you to 10 recipes would be good.) You can, however, share data via email. There’s also a neat little thing for math phobics where you can increase the serving size instantly, thus altering the amount of ingredients needed to correctly reflect the amount of consumers. (No multiplication required!) Nice use of shopping carts + lists, handy in case you forget anything while rushing around. It also comes with 30+ recipes free. I think that a great addition for future updates would be where you enter all of the food you have in your home, and then the app displays all the recipes you can cook/bake/fry/whatever with your said ingredients based upon what you have in your cookbook. There could also be a database online where everyone posts their favorite recipes, and then you can download them to your iPhone. This would defiantly make it worth the $$. In fact, I’d buy it for 4.99 if it had these abilities. (‘cause a good blank paper cookbook where you handwrite everything would still be $10 or more!) Overall – A nice app with lots of potential.
Best recipe app By: Rchapma - May 19, 2009 Version: 1.0 This is a great recipe app. Well worth the $1.99. I love the ease of adding all the items in a recipe to a shopping list. While in the store, you can easily cross items off of your list as you shop. If you have more people to feed, you can modify the serving size and it re-adjusts all of the amounts needed of each ingredient (great option for parties). The ability to add a picture to each recipe and email it to a friend are the icing on the cake.

Great app! By: RCTGTG - Sep 24, 2009 Version: 1.04 Fills in the gaps that many other cooking/recipe apps have. Very easy to add a recipe to the shopping list to make sure you have everything you need.
Only got 4 stars because the categories are restricting (only 4) and it is annoying to have to type out cups or tablespoons everytime rather than choosing from a dropdown. Also, if you type an ingredient wrong, you have to delete it and add it again - there's no edit. All minor flaws to an otherwise great app though!
Needs a little tweaking. By: Mr. Karl - Aug 23, 2009 Version: 1.03 PROS: Looks great! Using a slide to change services is a genius idea. Running fingers over stars for rating is cool. Adding a picture works fine. Active search worked better than expected. CONS: Only 3 categories for recipes; need more. Cannot edit ingredients; have to delete and then re-enter if making changes. An active fill for unit and ingredient would be nice so I don't have to keep retyping "tsp" or "onion, chopped". A backup feature (or sync) would be nice for when I enter changes, but I backup to iTunes anyway. CONCLUSION: Of the four recipe apps I have tested so far, this is the one that has the most promise for actual use in a commercial kitchen.
Great but can improve By: All My Recipes - Oct 9, 2009 Version: 1.04 Everything about this app is excellent. Except I would prefer to make my own categories or at least have the option of more categories to choose from. ALSO, it would be AWESOME if the software writers would make a DESKTOP APP that we could sync the info on the phone to and from. That way we would be able to type the text into the app faster by using a real computer keyboard. The iPhone keyboard is great and all but when having to type large amounts of text...it gets pretty time consuming.

Nice App By: Applefan2008 - Sep 16, 2009 Version: 1.04 I use this app everytime I go to the grocery store. It's so nice to have my recipes handy on my iPod touch that I can call up any recipe while I'm at the store and put the ingredients in my shopping list. The app originally had a bug that deleted the ingredients on some of my recipes, but that has been fixed and the new version is just what I need. Great app.
Best out there! By: Techabytes - Sep 6, 2009 Version: 1.04 I loved this app except for the dissappearing ingredients bug. But that is now fixed and truely, this app is the best out there!!! I really hope the author keeps improving it because I will be using it for a long time to come!
Great app By: Fdir - Aug 20, 2009 Version: 1.03 I would definitely recommend purchasing this app. Lots of neat features, I love how it creates a grocery list for you and how you can change the serving size. Very nice!
Nice recipe app By: Evidence - Aug 7, 2009 Version: 1.03 It does feel a bit green (not matured yet). But with a bit of tweaks here and there, this is going to end up a very sweet app.
Still has a bug here or there. And some obvious work flow things are missing. But can easily be added. I've already sent an email to the author.
I'd advise anyone wanting to enter recipes on their iPhones to grab this.

Allmyrecipes By: GGrim - Jul 17, 2009 Version: 1.03 I love it!! I've tried a few of the recipe apps available and this one is the best. Originally had the missing ingredient bug, but I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled v1.03 and all is working fine now.
