Good App, BUT...

This is my favorite app in its category. I've tried other versions and this is the best so far. I like its simple layout and that it has more categories (birthday, anniversary, events, holidays).SUGGESTIONS:1) Notes (gifts, favorites, reminders, etc.)2) Earlier Notifications3) Push Notification4) Badges (come out sooner)5) More Categories (other than the four)6) Ability to Customize (when to notify or show badges, add/subtract categories)

This is a great app. It's simple to use, and I love the design. You can also add photos to your reminders, which is cute and adds a personal touch.
Some suggestions for future updates:
-Make displaying the age optional because you dont necessarily know the year of birth for every person you know.
-Create the option how soon you want to receive an alert for an upcoming occasion (same day, day before, one week before, etc).
-Have more menu options in addition to the current 4. Perhaps if you have Birthdays, Anniversaries, Events and a 'More' button, which then takes you to a menu of other options, such as Projects, Travel/Vacations, Appointments, etc. The user can customize the menu bar, as well as add other reminders for other categories (similar to what you can do in the NYTimes app). Then this app can be used as an all around reminder app for everything, not just birthdays/anniversaries. That would be really useful for work and keeping track of meetings, projects, etc.
Overall, great start! I look forward to future updates. :)

Gets the job done

Good application, its gets the job done.Kinda better than its contemporaries.It shows the Zodiac sign(I thought this was interesting) and the user interface is very good.Definetly one of the best application which i have used for birthdays. I dont really use the 'events' and 'holidays',so no comment.
The application retrieves the birthday and anniversary dates from my contact list...I have around 40 individual contacts with their birthdays, so the application gets really slow, hope the developers put in an option where i can copy the data from my contact list into the phone or figure out a way to make it faster, I use a 3G,perhaps its faster for the 3GS.Definetly worth the buck i spent, i must have spent $10 just looking for apps which can intimate me when a birthday is nearby...No such app provides it as of now, wish these guys make it.

I have been trying numerous other reminder services for iPhone, but this is, by far, much better than the other services around.
I have been looking for a app to remind me of birthday's and anniversaries, and also capable of scheduling and notifying me of custom events/important daily tasks.. this one seemingly works just fine!

Just like the others said, this is a very good attempt compared to the counterparts. If the list loaded a bit faster, I would have had no problems giving it a 5 star rating. I hope the developers throws a update fixing this issue. Apart from that, PUSH notification would be great!

Needs two things:1. Facebook import2. Search feature for people's birthday FYI: if you get the birthdays automatically from your address book, you can't delete it from the app. You need to change it from your address book.

Soo, last night was Halloween (which everybody knew it would be on the 31st) & im having fun trick 'r treating & partying a lil bit w/some friends and going to bed at a usual time for work the next day...But wait... today is Daylight Savings Day!?Oh man...it's November 1st & how come I wasn't aware of Daylight Savings Day!!!?? Now I'm 1 hour a head if things!How would I know that it's Daylight Savings Day if I never got the memo!??? Except on the day of Daylight Savings Day, of course... when u wake up an hour early!What if u made personal plans on someone birthday but MISSED their birthday because I didn't get the memo ahead of time?!? They'll hate me!What's this app called? Ohh righhhht.. It's called, "HEADS UP." but it didn't do it's job when I needed it the most. It's not like I have open the app and see what's coming up next every. single. day!It would be nice if u added PUSH messages and have reminders AT LEAST 1 or 2 days ahead. This isn't a really big deal.. But someone has to address this issue one way or another Please fix this. ThxI'm calmed now... I'll go back to bed for another 30 minutes.

I just bought this application after returning another one that didn't work either. I can't delete anything in this application. When I press Edit, the pictures move to the right, as if there should be a minus sign to delete them, but nothing. I have pressed on everything on this screen and am not a bit happy. And there's NO SUPPORT anyplace.
