A glossary of common over the counter and prescription drugs and medications. This reference includes publicly-available information on drug uses and side effects.
Please note that you should always check the label on any medication you're taking, and consult your pharmacist or physician regarding drug and medication uses and side effects. The information contained in this application may be inaccurate.
Features include:
- advanced search for all drug and medication names and descriptions
- add/edit/remove drugs and medications, and access drugs and medications you added using My Meds
- rate any drug or medication on a 5-star system
- mark your favorite meds, and view them in the Favorites area
- e-mail any drug/med (with its description) to a friend
- rename categories and add/remove categories (category = letters of the alphabet)
- shake your mobile device for a random drug/medication
- "View All" meds feature for access to every item in the database
This app requires at least OS version 3.0

CAUTION: This app takes around 30 - 40 seconds to load on my iPhone 3GS, so if you have a 3G or earlier, it might take even longer. Just be patient - the app DOES load after a while. They have this database of something like 100K drugs and meds. It appears to be accurate information, although a lot of the drugs say "consult your pharmacist" in some sections. The set of features appears to be solid, and the app does work as advertised.

This app now works.. For 0.99 cents, you can't ask for much more. I use it to ID perscription meds for law enforcement purposes.. Good app for my usage.. Thanks

I am amused by the storage section. It seems that every drug has the almost the same "bathroom", "toilet" and "drain" instrcutions.

I wouldn't even give this one star if given the option. Like everyone else here, I should have read the review before purchasing. The app doesn't work - at all. iTunes, I'm very disapointed that this made it to the App Store. I will be disputing this charge on my credit card bill.
