Description:
Vurgood Applications has created a simple way to quickly store, preview, and send a professional PDF medical report without hiring a professional or spending vast amounts of time formatting a document of your own! This application provides "on-the-go" ability to quickly generate and send out a report from your iPhone.
Within seconds of inputting your information, Patient PRO will generate a professional-looking PDF report that is completely customizable with whatever information you choose to include! The user can input personal and family medical history, medication information, OB/GYN info, and MUCH more.
After generating the PDF, the application allows the user to PREVIEW the report to confirm that it looks to his or her satisfaction. Then the user has the ability, with a press of a button, to send the document to an email address of your choice - the app also allows CC and BCC fields! Send it to yourself to have at your disposal, or send it directly to a doctor's office for pre-registration!
Information available for input:
- Personal information (smoking habits, alcohol/caffeine, etc)
- Family history (conditions, etc)
- Siblings and Parents info
- Medication history
- Allergy vitals

I am really happy with this application. I use it to send an email to my doctor's office, and I never have to fill out paperwork, and it keeps track of a LOT of info that I just can't keep up with, such as my meds and family history. The report this application creates is REALLY professional-looking, too. Thank you for a great app!!!

There are a number of patient tracking applications in the store and I have tried all of them with much disappointment. That is why I was so pleased when this application came along. It combines just the right amount rigidity with creativity in data entry and retrieval. It is definately the cream of the crop in this area. Five stars - I am pleased to have found the application that effortlessly fits into my work habbits FIVE STARS!!!!!

I've had a chance to use this app for 2 days, one while working at an outpatient psychiatric clinic the other while at an outpatient pediatrics clinic. The medical history is great. I really appreciated the UI's ability to quickly let me enter information. Some things I would like to see changed include; an addition for a mental health history, the ability to draw from Epocrates in terms of medical conditions and drugs. Hopefully we will see these features in future additions, regardless, a great app at a solid price!

I read the review from a nurse who loved this app. I am also a nurse, live alone and have been having TIAs. With this app I can fill in personal medical history, family history which would help if I could not give the information.

Some key features still missing

While this is an EXCELLENT start for an application of this type, now that I'm using it I find it missing a few key items that would be very helpful to send to the doctor when using that feature of this app. It should give me a way to enter values periodically for blood pressure, heart rate, glucose levels, cholesterol etc. That would be EXTREMELY helpful to be able to track between doctor visits.
