Demoscene Perfection! Spot on module playback. By: Sokol- - Sep 1, 2009 Version: 1.0 If you love demoscene music, chiptunes, or Amiga culture, you need this app. The sound quality is perfect, it's true to the source material and isn't tripped up by complex modules. The interface is solid, and not frustrating to use. The internet module download is incredibly convenient, and the FTP server is the most elegant solution possible for moving modules onto your device. There's no downsides to this app, it's worth its price many times over if you love MODs. And even if you haven't been listening to them for years, consider that for such a low price you get a world full of great music at your selection. If you're like me, you have many gigabytes of MOD files, and hundreds that you'd like to hear at any given time. Converting them to MP3 or AAC is a convoluted process, and takes forever. Save yourself the time and effort, and support independent software developers all at once. Reccomended without the slightest reservation!
I love demotunes and I love this app! By: Rabitguy - Jun 28, 2009 Version: 1.0 Not only does this app seem play these classic demoscene tracks without glitches (so far as I can tell), but it will directly download thousands of them over the Internet to you iPhone/itouch memory. The built in FTP server is a really nice touch for transferring to/from the device to another system. The ui is well thought out and easy to use. Music continues to play as the next track downloads which is a supernice plus, the most songs will download in mere seconds. The music directory is comprehensive but nowhere near complete, but still a wonderful representation of the incredible talent and ingenuity of these composers who usually only had 4 channels of sound and a spreadsheet like tool to compose music. For a real treat, check out any of Radix's compositions.
Great start! By: Goodmane - Jul 3, 2009 Version: 1.0 Great app! Love the FTP feature and online library. I'd love to see more graphics while the track is playing if possible (osilloscope of each track, or maybe an option to view the text based scroller with the actual patterns in the file like some of the older dos based players). Ability to stop the app from looping each track, create playlists, etc would make the app even better. Keep up the great work!!
Love it! By: SJSwriting - Oct 30, 2009 Version: 1.0 I'm a big fan of MIDI and SID music, but MOD files are the best ... and ModBox is the best app I've found to play them. I didn't know how to use FTP to transfer MOD files to my iTouch, but the developer sent me step-by-step directions that made it easy for even a novice like me. And now I'm listening to hundreds of great MOD files ... and there are tens of thousands of MODs on the Internet. I only wish the app allowed me to create playlists, but perhaps this will be offered in a future update.
Top notch! By: FreakyT - Sep 18, 2009 Version: 1.0 The interface for downloading new modules works great and is easy to use. The built in FTP server for bringing in my own collection is also. A nice touch. Definitely worth the price if you have any interest in modules.

A good start By: h34th - 01-Oct-2009 Version: 1.0 Works as advertised! I'd give 5 stars for the following features:
• option to downmix to mono (for amiga mods)
• simple playlist support
• archive support (isn't this already built into MikMod?)
Good work so far though, really enjoying taking my mods on the road.
Work well, good for nostalgics of Amiga mod By: JonMerel - 5-Aug-2009 Version: 1.0 The FTP server is a plus over the competitor app "modplayer".

Good mod player By: Ugo The Destroyer - 03-Jul-2009 Version: 1.0 This is a nice little mod player app that seems to be quite stable. There is a good selection of mods on the associated website too. I hope this app grows to become a full-blown tracker...
Not too bad By: Zanxion - 23-Aug-2009 Version: 1.0 The app as a standalone player is good, but the choice of music is dreadful... It's full of rubbish tunes writen by people no-one has heard of. You're better off getting the c64 sid player app, which is full of class music.
