This App has come a long way since its inception and keeps getting better with every update.
PROS: Heads up display is ingenious.(Hit HUD in settings and lay it on your dashboard. It reflects right on your windshield). Analog / digital speedometer choices are a nice touch. The km/h, mph, and knots choices are great when out on a boat (for those of us not familiar with knots) to do the conversions. Not to mention a compass up top.
CONS: Having the digital speed displayed in landscape is nice with a dashboard or windshield mount, but would also like a portrait option for when its used in hand.
At $0.99 a no brainer considering all the time and effort that goes into this or any other App.
Keep up the good work!

Getting Better all the time

When I first got this App I was disappointed, it loaded slow was wildly inaccurate and the graphics were ok. All I wanted was a simple app that I could hold in the window of a car, train, or airplane and get the gee whiz info. Works pretty good in the car. The speed read out can be a bit erratic with 10mph jumps for no apparent reason. I have tried in on the airplane with very little success. I am not sure wether putting the phone in airplane mode causes the app not to work, but I did get it to work once and only once (not in airplane mode) and got a 425mph read out which when compared to the aircrafts GPS was with in a 1-2 mph of what the aircraft GPS was reading. I like that it has added GPS info (Sig strength etc). It's nice to help see why it's not working, still would like more info on the GPS however. The HUD feature is good, although LARGER Brighter numbers would be better in HUD or Mirror mode. A trip computer would be nice (e.g. Max Speed, Altitude, Average Speed, Odometer etc). The analog dials do nothing for me (just my opinion). But as I stated the app works pretty good and keeps improving. Fine tuning and stability will earn a five star.

I have this app, it's so good. I was doing 157 on my bike and it said 157!!! I had bad reception too. I don't know what app you guys are using.

Given, I don't really see the point of this application.. Only place you can really use it is in a car, and I don't see what is so bad about looking at the speedometer... But the purpose of this application is fufilled very well. It does exactly what it says it does, and it does it very well. It is very accurate.

Look our phones are made as a telephone the GPS and all the other features are "extra" of course your garmin is getting a better reading it's a GPS unit!! Our phones have GPS but don't look to it as a savior of speed accuracy through our GPS system it's secondary compaired to a real GPS Unit, you people expect the damn world sad

For a wish list, I would like the compass to show when using the LED speedometers, whether vertical or horizontal and I would love to see an altimeter worked in somehow. Doesn't have much to do with driving, but I figured as accurate as the speedometer and compass are this app would be the best option for altitude. Thanks again for the update!

Great digital speedometer, It is only 2 or 3 MPH off. I would give it 5 stars but it is not accurate when accelerating, but it is just a phone. If ur looking for a digital read of how fast you are going, this is what you want. I velcroed the plastic case to my iPhone to my dash and not only can I read how fast I'm going but my passengers can to.
