Reviews:
Best application in the iPhone By: tourBoxer - 26-Jul-2008 Version: 1.1.1 BE ANYWHERE. See street views in 360 degrees with such clarity and control. Panoramas are fast becoming the way to see the world. streetviewNews will be uploading hundreds of panoramas of Sydney, the snow and street shots in the coming weeks. Check them all out as well as all the remarkable shots from around the world using this magic technology. For the price they're asking we highly recommend this amazing application.
360º on the iPhone very impressive! By: Amoscowdog - 13-Jul-2008 Version: 1.0 If you are a photographer who shoots and creates panoramas and you own an iPhone I think this is an essential application to download. It allows you to create a portfolio (an xml file that's very easy to create and update) containing your panoramas and have them quickly uploaded to the iPhone. The image quality is excellent and the reaction of clients and friends has been nothing short of amazement.
Five stars! By: Earwacks - Jul 28, 2009 Version: 1.1.3 This is easily a five star app. The d-bags who give it less are either dumb kids or incompetent adults. Read their negative reviews and its easy to see they have no idea of what this type of photography is about. This app and the photos it contains are amazing. One really feels like they are there, in the setting. Its like taking a free trip to exotic locations from the comfort of a lazy boy. And all for free. Thank you Pangea!
Stunning By: RimmersDinner - 29-Aug-2008 Version: 1.1.2 This is what Apps in the App store should all be about. Everyone will be amazed at the sheer quality of the execution. I suspect it would be hard to sell this app without people playing with it first so it's current free status is a very welcome decision. Anyone with even a remote interest in the panaromic photographic world should have this app. A real battery drainer as you'll be on and off it for hours! Download it now!
Very Cool! By: FrogsterDude - Jan 6, 2009 Version: 1.1.3 Great app! Fun to look at all the pictures from around the world, and it's free! I just got billy frontier and it's great, just like my desk top version. Deffinitly worth the money. (got it on sale, the only time it is worth buying) Keep up the good work pangea! But keep the prices a bit lower and make sure to keep updating, some better graphics would be nice! Thanks for 2 awsome apps! I am satisfied!
Fascinating app By: Wabe006.5 - 14-Jul-2008 Version: 1.0 I downloaded this as it was free not expecting it to last 10 minutes on my iPod Touch but I thought I’d take a look. Two hours later I was still there, wide eyed, totally captivated by the photographic beauty of it’s scenes. This is a great app. Infinitely expandable as it takes it’s content of the Net. It’s party piece of maintaining the scene level as you rotate the screen ranks along side the virtual pint of Carlsberg for showing off in the pub. And free? Bargain of the century.
Great App for Virtual Tours By: mipppy - 13-Jul-2008 Version: 1.0 This is a very useful app to display virtual tours on the iPhone. The XML config is easy to set up and use for your own panoramas. It would be nice if this app could be launched from an email that contained the link to an XML file or jpeg so that it becomes easier to use for those who want to send panoramas to others. for example, an estate agent sending a link to a client. Navigating panoramas is easy and makes good use of the sensors in the iPhone. What's more ... it's free :) I look forward to new releases of this app.

Apple wants more By: REDIYZ - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.1.3 Apple is planning to add a premium games section to the app store and charge $20 per game (outragous). My brother still plays games on a sega genisis the games still work and the hard plastic boxes kept instuctions in good shape none of that will be true in 20 years with these app store games there for they are not worth $20. This is big three auto oil company thinking and we need to let apple know we won't have it!
And it's only going to make people want to start stealing apps. It's the low prices of apps and games that are fueling iPhone and iPod touch sales I bought my daughter a touch instead of a ds because of game prices.

Awesome By: dflork - Oct 8, 2008 Version: 1.1.2 I just tried this app. This app surpasses everything I have bought or tried. This is the most awesome app that I have on my iPod Touch AND it is free. You won't be disappointed if you download this application. Seeing is believing and it doesn't even crash like quite a few of the other apps that I have downloaded. This is totally grand. I don't know anything about making these applications, but Pangea Software, this is excellent. Thank you and keep up the fantastic work.
Thank You Pangea, Thank You. By: iMcfly - Aug 1, 2008 Version: 1.1.1 This application is mind blowing, and simply amazing. It shows the true power of the amazing technology inside every iPhone and iPod touch. I do not understand why some of you say it's "crap". It is the best application in the App Store. It would be even better if Pangea developed a software similar to this in the form of a flight simulator. Who doesn't love a flight simulator? The application looks great on the home screen. Best part is, it's free! So for that, I say Thank You Pangea, Thank You.
A master work; where design and functionality meet the wide eyed youthful explorer in all of us By: brianbgood - Jul 28, 2008 Version: 1.1 I can truly say of the 40 or so Apps I have tried on my phone this is definitely top 3. Some of the most amazing imagery I have ever seen, brought to my phone. This App has the ability to save us from the mundanity in all our live and instantly transport us to the South Pacific, the mountains of Austria, or the frenetic rhythms found in all the worlds major cities. The views are not simply 360 degrees horizontal as I first thought, but to my astonishment are 360 degrees vertical as well. For example, if you select a city you can zoom in on a tall building and then look straight up into the sky, then back down to the cobblestone road. Amazing. I believe this app is free, but even it it were not, it would still get it. (within reason)
Leave It To Pangea Software! By: Nature Photographer - Jul 15, 2008 Version: 1.0 Pangea Software has done it again! This has to be one of the best applications in the app store, and for free nonetheless! This application lets you visit places thousands of miles away in a matter of seconds; just download a panorama and flick through the 360-degree space or tilt your iPhone to change the orientation and the panorama will smoothly follow - you can even tilt it gradually or not completely. Everything is fluid and stable, and the included portfolios of panoramas are stunning. Five Stars!
This is the best 360° panorama viewer on iPhone By: cheathamlane - Jul 15, 2008 Version: 1.0 Oh, wait... It's the only one. ;) Well, it still gets 5 stars! Now we can have our video, music and photography all on one iPhone. Kudos to the developer for making PangeaVR and making it free. The upcoming (as of this writing) ability to have thumbnails of the images, as well as GPS information will really round out the App. If you're a 360° photographer who needs to show clients your portfolio while on the road, this is the App for you. If you're simply a curious viewer interested in beautiful 360° panoramic imagery, then this is the app for you. Enjoy!
awesome app, and it's free to boot!! By: 360shooter - Jul 15, 2008 Version: 1.0 I reviewed this app earlier, but realized I didn't give it any stars. My apologies because this is the best app out there by far. The ability to view panoramic images from all over the world from numerous photographers is incredible. It shows a great deal of thought in the app architecture to allow portfolios from some of the best panoramic photographers in the world to showcase their work. Get this app and show it to everyone! It's a must-have. And did I mention that it's free?
Pretty Awesome By: Gmobile - Jul 14, 2008 Version: 1.0 At first, for a free app, I foudn it to be a nifty thing to do with the phone. But then I remembered the new screen capture function on 2.0 (simultaneously press home and standby button briefly to send that exact screen to your camera roll), and now I have a nearly unlimited way to get awesome, nearly totally infinite, wallpapers. One scene alone is good for a bunch wallpapers! Should definitely be one of the top 10 free apps.
Mesmerizing! One feature request: search By: pgk2008 - Aug 19, 2008 Version: 1.1.2 It's amazing what a difference it makes to be able to look around in pictures. Great app. One thing I would like a lot it is one could search the image database. For example, I would like to see pictures from New York. As it is, I don't see a way to quickly find those. To go one step further: it would be great if we could save searches, which ideally would give some visual indication if there are new images that match that search. Perhaps with a small red number like the iPhone does when there are new app updates. Too much? Anyway, thanks for posting this app!
Almost perfect By: PDBreske - Jul 18, 2008 Version: 1.1 This app has some really, REALLY cool features, but I'm subtracting one star because it doesn't save your browsing location if it exits to the photographer's web site — when you come back to Pangea VR you have to scroll through the list of Panoramic portfolios to get back to where you were, or save the portfolio to your bookmarks before you visit the web site. Other than that, it exhibits some tricks that I didn't know were possible on an iPhone. I know the accelerometers will pick up on your tilt movements, but I didn't know the iPhone has an internal level. When viewing these pictures, the iPhone rotates them so they are always perpendicular to the ground. I don't mean it flips them 90 degrees left or right, I mean it gently rotates to any angle that will keep the picture level on the screen. Amazing.
Amazing app. One of the best available By: AAAndrew - Jul 16, 2008 Version: 1.0 Really great job. Gorgeous panoramas from all over the world. The only reason it's not a 5 is that what I'd love to see is the ability to search the portfolios for keywords and some photos are missing descriptions. An over-the-top bonus would be the ability to link specific words in the description to the corresponding page on Wikipedia and perhaps google maps to be able to learn more about these beautiful places. Get it!
