Reviews:
Very handy By: Kraznoff - Aug 7, 2008 Version: 1.25 All in all this is a very good app, the best one i found for students. I downloaded "Things" but that's not as useful for keeping track of school assignments, you cant organize them into catagories like classes, as far as i know atleast. I also checked out iProcrastinate mobile, the free school task messenger and its really great if your not looking to pay anything, i would recommend it, but if your looking for more features and a bit more polish this app is worth it. I find it ridiculous that people are saying don't buy this app because theres something like it for free, it's one thing to point out there's a free app that has many of the same features, but to say don't buy it because of that is arrogant.
Very nice By: Puparoo - 29-Jan-2009 Version: 1.31 A very nice app that I am sure will help me when I go back to high school in 4 days. Only one things that I really hope you'll add to it before I get to school is that I have classes on at different times a day but I can only set it to one time so it would be nice if I could change the times for the different days!
It would also be nice if I could put a corrosponding colour on the classes!
Anyway a very good app that is much better than the one mentioned in an earlier review.
It is well worth the money, well done!
Additional Features? By: SBarker - 08-Aug-2008 Version: 1.25 This is a good app, but I wonder if there a way to have the assignments appear in the sequence of their due dates, ie earliest due date at the top, rather than all assignments appearing in the sequence in which they were created? Also, how about being able to access the details of each assignment from the Assignments listed by Class screen, rather than having to go back to the Overview screen to access the details? I think the Assignments screen would also be improved by showing the number of assignments in brackets after each class name. If these points could be addressed in future upgrades, I think this would be perfect!
Love it, BUT... By: sirr3ginald - Aug 4, 2009 Version: 1.32 Is there any way to add a functionality that warns you of your assignments that are due soon on the locked screen when you just turn it on, much like texts, phone calls, events w/ alarms, etc. I hope Apple has not blocked this functionality because it could make this app a whopping 10/5 stars!!! Rather than 4/5...
It might sound like laziness, but I just don't want to make new events w/ alarms every time I want to be reminded of a task WITHOUT having to open the app. I might as well not make an assignment I will just forget because I didn't check the app.
Extremely Useful To Any Student By: topazmidget - Feb 5, 2009 Version: 1.31 I suggest this application to any student. It completely replaces the traditional “Date Runner” or “Agenda” given by some schools. This is all you’ll ever need. I am going to be starting my second year in college; I wish this app had existed when I was in grade school. The feature I love the most is being able to receive alerts when an assignment is going to be due soon, and the organization of the assignments and what course they belong to. Also, unlike most apps, this company has tried their best to match the app’s “cosmetics” to match those of Apple’s.
Pretty good app, new update makes it a lot better--still needs a few features added By: BigPinkFloyd - Oct 16, 2008 Version: 1.31 I bought this app and I'm pretty satisfied with it; I just wish when you looked at an assignment it showed on the bottom what class it is from when in the overview tab. Also when in the assignments tab and looking at assignments under each class, it would be nice if the date due was shown under each assignment without having to click on each assignment to check out the due date and details. Really like the ability to check off completed assignments rather than delete. Gets better with every update.

Nice app with potiential By: Mahoganylit - Sep 7, 2008 Version: 1.3 This app deems to be useful to me; however, it could use a few things to make it great.
Currently there isn't and option to sort the assignments based on due dates, priority or anything. You can assign an assignment to the classes but it would be nice to have more sorting options within the classes. The assignments are currently stored in the order that they were entered.
Otherwise, this is a great app.
Very close By: Ilovehomework - Sep 5, 2008 Version: 1.3 I really like the idea, and I like the interface. My problems are I can ONLY look at the "details" of the assignment on the assignments view, not even on the due soon view. Also the assignments view isn't listed by due date ( I believe it is by class in big bulks) so I can only see what is due soon on the "due soon" tab but ONly up do three days. So I wish I could see a view of all assignments due soon organized from closest to furthest with a further distance than three days. I love where this is going just want those two things added into the next version please! PS I would really like to be able to also see the due date on the main tab where it shows the name of the assignment so I wouldn't even have to go and look at the details section.
Good, waiting for improvements By: Rob64z - Aug 28, 2008 Version: 1.3 This certainly a good app, but could learn at least one important thing from iprocrastinate: an easy way to check off assignments instead of deleting them. Also, it would make a lot of things easier if the due date on an assignment was smart and automatically matched re time of a class. Another iP lesson to be learned is the ability to view assignments by class. It wouldn't be a bad idea either to have an incrimental option as well, for example: a single entry for a book but with multiple due dates for various page numbers.
Over all, a great app.

Love it, but needs a few improvements/additions... By: Jonny Phive - Aug 13, 2008 Version: 1.3 Great program so far but it has a lot of room for welcomed expansion. I am about to start the semester and some things that I am finding would be useful are the following: 1. Class Details Section Improvements - Add Field for professor name, and contact info. - Add Field for professor's office hours - Add Field for class room building location - Add A Week Calendar so we know what class is next as arranged by the classes input Just some much wanted ideas. Great so far. Love the new clean UI
Good but needs work By: Nort88 - Aug 11, 2008 Version: 1.25 I've used both Assignments and IProcrastinate and there are plusses to both. The "due soon" is very nice with Assignments, but there is a bug in the alert (but they say they are going to fix it). IProcrastinate you get to color code your classes, but Assignments lets you voice record notes for yourself. Assignments needs to be able to add a way to write the professor's name under the class, the ending times of classes, group member names, steps of a project (like IProcrastinate) and a few other upgrades. Overall it is a good application, they just need to have a few things to make it amazing.
Better than iProcrastinate By: Girlwholived.net - Aug 7, 2008 Version: 1.25 Being a University student, I understand the importance of keeping track of your school-related chores, assignments, and tasks. It is no easy task, particularly in this day in age when it is so easy to lose a piece of paper that tells you need to do. iCal is great for remembering birthdays, but it does not scream at you that you have a major thesis due in two months, and your draft is due NEXT WEEK. Being a cheap-scape that just paid $400 total for my new iPhone, I didn't want to pay anything. So, I downloaded iProcrastinate. However, the program was very confusing to the point that it gave me a head ache; if I wanted a headache, I'd study more for my classes than I already do. Since our professors are out to give us as much work as possible, we require a program that gives as little as possible to keep track of our school related work. This program definitely keeps track of it. It is clean, sleek, and doesn't clutter up it's display. The only thing I'd change is a colour-coding system that iProcrastinate had, so I can glance in the Overview for what is due for my Japanese 3 class, versus my C++. This program is recommended for the price.
Very good By: 0Murdok0 - 14-Aug-2008 Version: 1.3 Just downloaded it today, added all my classes for my next year at college looks great good features perfect for any student is mile better than the planners you get given in education a must have for any student.
Great App, Great Developer! By: Matthew Dunlop - 07-Aug-2008 Version: 1.25 Assignments is a great app! It works really well. Even when I found the slightest thing I would change I suggested it to them and the developer replied really quickly to tell me he is working on the these features for the next few versions!
Perfect for Students By: sumario - 04-Aug-2008 Version: 1.2 This is the perfect app for me. My organisation skills are really crap and a couple of months ago when i had loads of assignments due so i was just relying on the calendar but it was a message job. This will be so much better as it is all well presented. I not yet tried the app to its full extent, only had a quick look, but hopefully it should all work.
Awsome update, must have By: Piemaster399 - Nov 10, 2008 Version: 1.31 The much needed update is awsome. Now you can check your assignments off and when something is due soon the is one of those red circles that apears at the right hand corner of the app. (similar to if you have new mail). The format is awsome and is a must have for any student with an iPhone or iPod Touch.
VERY Useful!!!!!!! By: <Buzz Lightyear!> - Oct 6, 2008 Version: 1.3 I love this app! It has many features that help me keep up with all my schoolwork. I think the version 1.3 is great but I am excited for 1.31 which has more great features! The point is that it's worth every dollar. I reccomend this to anyone with a lot of schoolwork that they must keep up with.
Update By: utp504 - Sep 30, 2008 Version: 1.3 There is an update coming. You guys have to be aware that apple takes forever to review them and release them. I'm guessing that it should be here on Tuesday or Wednesday since facebooks update just happened and that one was in review for over a week.
On the other hand this app is great but I can't wait for the update because of the great things it has and that I want.
WONDERFUL By: SpezSpazX - Aug 26, 2008 Version: 1.3 iProcrastinate may be free, but this is a superior program, both aesthetically and functionally. Six dollars is a small price to pay.
