Olivetree's 4.09 update vaults its bible application far ahead of the app store's other bible applications. Scrolling (both continuous vertical and page-by-page horizontal) is quick and smooth. Notes are easy to create, read, categorize, and change. Split screens and pop up notes make study time on the iPhone efficient and easy. Its searching is fast and powerful. Its resource catalog is huge. Overall, Olivetree is a polished, feature-rich study tool. Online note syncing will make this app complete, and I know Olivetree is currently developing the ability to sync user notes with Evernote.

This my first impression of 4.10... WOW!!! this is a wonderful addition. My sincere kudos and thanks to the staff, developers, and QA guys. I love all of the stuff. I have even received feedback (immediate at that) from Olivetree about stuff in the pipes both from a development perspective and a resources perspective. I'm ready to buy the resources now. Again, I've used this app since it first came out for the Palm, love it even more on my iPhone. Great stuff!!!I enjoy this app more and more. I wish they would consider tilt scrolling and allow me to copy more than 1 verse. 1 verse makes it hard to send an encouraging email. Otherwise, heads and tails above the rest!

This is the most complete Bible app for the iPhone. I really like having many versions available on my iPhone and the ability to synchronize two version, or a version with a commentary. The notes and bookmarks are very intuitive to use. There are also a wide range of settings so you can customize the user interface to meet your needs. There's not many tihngs on my wish list, but I would like to see low light color settings, and the ability to highlight passages. I've used most Bible apps on the iPhone, but I keep coming back to this one. It's a great app that keeps getting better.

I'm impressed! I'm a minister, and I've seen, and own, other Bible programs for Iphone, and this is the best interface I've seen yet. Actually, I am waiting for the ESV study bible to come out in 4.9, but meanwhile I decided to take my first venture into Olive Tree territory with the freebie to see if lives up to the hype. Wow, this program is a WINNER. I read many other comments for the various Olive Tree programs, and this 4.9 version dissolves the few criticisms out there.
I love customizing programs, and this interface is highly customizable -- fonts, colors, split screen, everything. The 3 touch method to find passages is much faster than with most programs. The search features are now easy to use and lightening fast. To finds phrases, just use quotes, no odd parameters to put in. Landscape mode and split screen mode are great. Help is easy to find on whatever you need. You can learn how to use the whole program in less than 10 minutes, its that intuitive. Sure, the free version is only the KJV and the ASV, but you can't go wrong with this program. If you get it, you will soon be ordering your favorite versions.
Notes to Olive Tree:
1. Could you please make it clearer on your web page as to how someone who owns one of your programs can purchase another and have it incorporated into the same original program so that there is only one icon.
2. I would like to suggest that you make discounts available on a bundle program if someone already owns a paid-for program of yours and registers on your site. And a bigger discount if they own a bundle program and want to order another bundle; i.e. the ESV study bible and the NASB bundle.
3. I would laso like to suggest a stand alone New Livivg Translation. Why isn't there one already? It is only offered in the NASB bundle.
Thanks for making this really great program; it is going to be a hit. You are a blessing.

This is the best free Bible app ever! It has both American Standard and King James Versions and fully accessible offline. Verses or chapters are so easy to search, can customize the font's, colors etc.. just so very simple to use and again it's FREE ! Five Stars app !!!!

I have used Bibler Reader sence the day of my Palm and when they brouht out the first Iphone/touch. The funtion is top of the line. The libery is almost endless and growing. Ease of use yet powerful study tool. You should start now.
