I've been using Olive Tree bible software for years, beginning with my very first Palm. This version for the iPhone or iPod Touch is a terrific implementation. It works very well, has a great translation, all the notes, search, etc., and is very user friendly. I'm really impressed with the amount of work Olive Tree puts into its products, and I'm blown away by the improvements in this app since my Palm days. Thanks!

...only one thing can make this better, from Good to Great, for me and those I recommended the app to; your separations on the Paragaphs are not working or are not aliened. If I want to start reading Isaiah 50:1: you find the verse at the end of Isaiah 49; chapter 50 starts on verse 50:3? Same thing along the whole Bible; Luke 3:1 starts after Luke 2:52; chapter 3 starts at Luke 3:5. This is a bit of a hassle when in Bible study mode. Can you please fix this? I promise to continue to recommend the app – but please get this glitch fixed. Thank you.

I like this Bible app becasue you can save verses in bookmarks and it is easy to read, it isn't cheap for a app but what you can get out of it you can not put a price on.

The NAB is the most accurate English translation of the Scriptures, and with the extensive footnotes, it's the perfect study Bible. I love the Advanced Search feature, and once I figured out how to access the footnotes, I was off and running. This is simply a great Bible app---and well worth the price. A lot of work went into this----thanks so much for putting this in the App Store!
Finally...A New American Catholic Bible

I have been waiting for the NAB for my IPhone so I can be in sync with the bible used in church. This app is easy to use and has a tab at the top so you can scan quickly to the scripture you want. This version also has an Advanced Search tab and NAB notes which provide more information about the scripture you are using.

I agree with the other reviews and have little to add except to respond to some of the reviewers' comments. About llaneromac's review, the Universalis App has the complete Liturgy of the Hours. About Changed4Good's review, the developer once informed me that it might release the Catholic Study Bible for the iPhone, thus improving the "perfect study Bible". That, however, was quite a while ago.

This is a great study tool especially combined with the KJV with Strong's numbers so you can look at the greek words. I dont like the way the text is organized on screen...

1. With the advent of iPhone 3.0, please enable cut & paste.
2. Please insert the same Chapter Headings as in the print NAB.
3. Please add the ability to create categories in the bookmarks to organize them.

A good NAB implementation that includes the notes. Many features feel like they were implemented in the 90's and could use a facelift. The lack of chapter headings in the text is extremely frustrating for me. Other than that, I'm looking forward to seeing The Catholic Study Bible implementation another reviewer mentioned a while back. Oh, and it's a little overpriced...

I agree with other reviewers that the lack of headings and structure compared to the NAB paper copy is frustrating and should be fixed. The overall layout of the text could be much improved. I had purchased a douay Rheims bible for the touch and the layout was cleaner, more intuitive, and easier to follow and search. Please improve.
