This app contains a superfluous wealth of doctrines, articles, commentaries, BIBLE tranlations, devotionals, etc on the Word of God. R.C. Sproul, the general editor, has carefully divided the Word with exegetical insight and helps the readers understand the authors' original intent for each of the 66books! This is essentially the Reformation Study Bible plus a dozen other resources in your iPhone. So many tools come with this app! The only suggestion I have is to allow the user to create folders for highlited Scripture and bookmarked verses.

I remember how much I wanted to get the reformation bible about a couple months ago. Though when I saw the price, I was a little hesitant. Then while searching for bible apps I came across this app and I was so excited!! I must admit the content is amazing and very user friendly. The navigation on this app is top notch and would recommend this appto anyone searching for doctrinally sound commentaries.

I've wondered if/how it would be possible to pack all the supplemental material of the excellent Reformation Study Bible into a mobile app, and here it is, and superbly done. Not only does the application make the notes, verse references, introductions, and theological essays available to the reader, it does so smoothly and gracefully. It is the best integrated Bible study tool I've seen short of eSword, and in many ways it is better. I've spent several hours exploring this app, and it not only works with navigating through the Biblical text and supplemental study materials, but when you download additional texts (like the free JFB commentary and the NT Greek text), they are not just inserted into the library, they are integrated into app, so, for example, the Greek text is synchronized to whatever ESV text you are reading in the Study BIble. The notes of the JFB commentary are similarly linked. Add the highlighting, notewriting, bookmarking, and tagging capabilities. Wow.

I just bought The Reformation Study Bible app which is actually just another version of AcroBible. It's the best version so far. The study notes and all the add-ons are implemented in a very useful way. It is fast and smooth and easy to use. I have a first generation IPhone and it runs great. I just hope that the NKJV version and Strong's numbers will be added soon. I also want to say that the commentary Jameison-Faussett-Brown Commentary of the Whole Bible is also available as a free download add-on. This is a very good Bible App, and anyone looking for a Bible App should really consider this App.

The most natural competitor for this product is Olive Tree's ESV Study Bible, so I'm measuring this against it. The user interfaces for both are excellent, so there is little concern in usability when it comes to a plain reading of the Bible text itself, though the verse selecter in Olive tree is great, and continuous text has it's advantages, breaking up the text less. If you are just reading that and the included study notes, Olive tree may have a very slight advantage. By holding your finger on a verse in this product though, you can compare multiple commentaries, dictionaries and even devotional works very quickly without flipping from one screen to another, which is a more substantial advantage than you might imagine. It turns Eastons bible dictionary (available free within this product) from a last resort into a constantly useful tool. Both products allow you to write notes and make bookmarks, but it seems more straightforward here (to my mind), and you're able to colour code passages, should you find it useful. If both products allowed for the same amount of material to be held, I would say the study features here make this the better product, but if you're willing to pay, there is a huge amount of material for Olive tree that's not available here, and considering the maps, essays and charts included in the ESV study Bible, it may have the edge on this. If you can afford to, get both products. You'll benefit enormously. If you have to choose one, there is a slight increase in form here (meaning you can take advantage of it's content), and a significant increase in content for olive tree that makes the slightly less effective interface perfectly bearable, but you must pay to get resources included here for free. Take your pick! I'm happy to have both depending on my purpose, and for cross referencing.

I thought it was going to be too hard to navigate, clunky, and rarely used. I am glad that something pushed me to pay for the app (the price is quite high) because now I am exploring God's Word like never before.

Everything I need at my fingertips (literally). Also, a piece of cake to navigate! No learning curve!One suggestion, would love to have a longer version of Matthew Henry. The concise version is too short!

This is the Best Bible/Commentary/Bible Dictionary there is out there. Worth every penny spent, please go out and by this. You will not be disappointed, not only do you get the reformation Study Bible, you also are open to free downloads of commentaries, dictionaries and other versions of the bible, plus with the bible sync you can keep all the data you save, so how can you go wrong?

5 star app! ..... a little on the expensive side.

I can't say enough about the ease of use and quality of this app. Initially offered at $11.00 Now it's $18.00 which is a bit high for an iPhone app. If you don't mind the price, go for it. You'll love it!

This is a fantastic tool for any serious Christian. The fact that you can cross refrence on the fly without disturbing your main read, is already a plus, but then to have added the commentary from the hard copy, really puts this app over the top. A well deserved 5 stars.

Maybe the best study bible I have ever used. (the John MacArthur study bible may be better) As far as iPhone bibles, there really are no comparisons. With the trusted faithful indepth teaching of R.C. Sproul and over user friendliness of this app I can not say enough good things about it. It is very much worth the price!

I have long preferred the RSB for the study notes and commentaries. Now not only do I have the best study bible on my iPhone but it runs under the incredible AcroBible application. This app is one of the fastest loading and most responsive apps on my phone. Well done!

I love having my a iPod version of my rsb- the addons are great, I only wish the gnt came with parse/unparse option. Otherwise, it's great!

This bible app is great!!!! tons of good reformed commentary and insights (even if you lean Arminian). Also, lots of flexability in using the app. Well worth the money.

This is by far the best Ipod Touch Bible application I've used. Having the Reformation Study Bible motivated my download, but the navigation and presentation of this application are superb. Thanks also for the free commentaries!

I am in love with this app! The ESV is the best translation and this bible is great--I own a leather version of it... Just waiting to add more notes to it...
