So all of the step by step instructions have failed to mention one last step;- You need to quit Itunes and then open it up again for any of the changes to take effect.- Once you reopen Itunes you will then see the Remote Device. Double click and then in the main screen you will be prompted to enter the 4-digit code from your Iphone/Itouch.

This app works great!For those who are giving it a low rating because you can't actually use it, you need to buy the new 2.0 software update (£5.99 - well worth it) and then when you connect your iPod to your Mac/PC then there will be a new tab called 'Applications'. Make sure they're all selected and hit 'Sync'.

This is the greatest app out there! Gives complete control of iTunes through your iPhone, which means I dont have to fork out for a new iMac with an Apple remote to control my music through AirTunes from my bed, Now I can just use my iPhone! More apps like this please!

This App is great. Caused some problems for me.If you can't get it to work and you use a Mac try turning off your firewall in 'System Preferences' > 'Security' > 'Firewall'Not the best solution but works.

This APP did not work for me. I'm running Windows XP with the latest version of iTunes, and I JUST bought my iPod Touch 2 days ago so it too is up to date. I changed my firewall settings, nothing. Did everything my geeky little mind could come up with, still nothing. It prolly works better with Macs so microsoft users, your SOL.

The first time it worked fine and connected well and everything. But after I restored my iPod and tried to reconnect to the music library using the app, it never worked. Bummer for me cuz it worked the first time around :(
