Sweetest app out there - use it all of the time. Wondering if Apple could extend funtionality for use with the Front Row software? Why not let my iPone/iPod Touch act as my master remote for my Mac?

I absolutely love this app! Here is an answer to a fellow reviewers question. You can use your front row remote to control ur iPod. Simply buy the apple universal dock. It allows you to use your remote, or the one provided.

I so love this app. It's genious. I have a good speaker system for my comp. N I love listening to music, so I use this all the time cause I'm always running around the house n I love that I can control my music library from my iPhone. And the best part is it's great for partys.

So far OK, but I was wondering- is there any way I could use my Front Row remote to control my iPod? It'd be really useful if that could be done while my iPod is mounted to speakers.

I have downloaded over hundred apps from the store but this is the very best and most useful. It works perfectly with any iTunes library or Apple TV. Can't believe it is free. I don't mind paying $20 for this.

All in all, I really like this app. It's a really cool idea, but it has some flaws.It's still a little unstable as far as connecting goes. I've noticed this more on my iPhone than my iTouch, It's almost like it's trying to connect via EDGE, which obviously won't work, *then* looking on wifi but by this point something has already broken and I need to try again.It's a good idea, but it's still very buggy. Totally worth the money, though! ;)

Great app that makes the digital hub that much better.

why not get a sync mode to the iphone or include video player mode. I think also if you have bluetooth you can listen to the songs on a bluetooth divce like a bluetooth speaker. What ever happened to that flight game from apple?

Doesn't work with multiple Airports/Extended network

The application does not work if your network is an extended network. If your iphone/ipod is connected to same airport it will find your itunes library. If you are connected via two different airports that are being used to extend your network, Remote will not be able to find the itunes library. There are several forum posts on apple support that describe the problem, but no answers. The apple trouble shooting page does not mention extended networks--it does mention checking that you are on the same IP network, but that is true on an extended network and still not library is found. The application is useless in this environment (if i have to get up and go to another room to change the music it defeats the entire purpose). I hope they fix this in the next release, or find a workaround.

It is a good aplication but they need to do something for the lockscreen. Like the iPod controls on the Lockscreen because sometimes you lock the screen and then when you want to skip a song you have to unlock the phone to skip it

make sure u connect ur iphone to wifi before doing anything. Couldve saved myself alot of time before knowing that.

I don't use my MacBook remote, and this is a great way to skip through tracks during a home party instead of keep running back and forth from the computer.

Go to System Preferences/ Security and make sure " Require password to unlock each secure system preference" is NOT checked. Mine works fine now. PPC G5 Quad, 10.4.11 iTunes 8.0.1.
