It could not be simpler. I downloaded the app and immediately the iPhone showed in iTunes on my Vista. Entered the code and took control. Not an Apple fan but makes me think about buyin Airtune speakers

Four star for this app...Just wish that on the updated version they should have a Youtube interrface for it like a keyboard or something. It's really frustrating to search Youtube with AppleTV's "Microscopic Remote" so PLS... next update a keyborad interface for youtube....

Love this app for use with airport express. What I really want now is an off-timer function to have it set iTunes to turn off after a set period of time. This way I could use it to fall asleep to music.

I have a large house with lots of walls and so I recently upgraded my router. Next I paired the iphone with Apple tv and all i have to say is SHAZAAAMM! Now there were a couple of issues such as not accepting the code (I moved closer to the router and they were instantly accepted) and Apple tv hung up once and I had to unplug it and restart it. I also made sure I had the latest software update on the Apple tv unit prior to start. I had been hoping for something that would let me listen to my collection from out by the pool and this performed better than expected.

I've wanted this ever since I was a kid. The ability to control a massive media library from any room in the apartment on a small, beautiful device with a gorgeous screen that shows you album art and the like. For those with awesome, house filling audio systems, the future finally arrived in 2008. This is what I've been waiting to be able to do for quite a long time. A small request, certainly--one of those "it'd be great if..." statments. Still, it's a dream come true.
