When I first heard about this app, I was thrilled. All my music is on my Mac and it's hooked into a 7.1 surround speaker system. I had visions of never leaving my couch.The app is great, it's easy to setup and extremely responsive to commands. How difficult can it be to add coverflow? I'm not a programmer, but shouldn't it be possible to have the iphone download all the album covers the first time it connects with database. We're not talking about much drive space. Coverflow is the best thing about iTunes as far as I'm concerned. One little tweak and this remote app will be another thing the PC and Electronics market are desperately trying to catch up on.

I make recordings of myself saying random things and upload it to iTunes. Then when someone walks in the room I discretely press a button on my phone, and scare everyone! Great app!

I downloaded this app about 3 times already. The times I've gotten it to worked I like it a lot. But then when I go to the home screen and then go back to the remote app it says it can't find my library.

This is great. Works way better than the web app I was using. Wish you could use it to control web videos on utube and Netflix and other media players like WMP and WMC. That would really make this app rock!

I love this app I use it everyday Once my cousin was on my downstairs computer and I was upstairs I was using the remote and he got all freaked out he was like ur iTunes had a spaz attack the volume was going all up And down and the song keept changeing!!!!!

To get it to work in vista make sure that bonjor(apple conectivity app that comes with itunes) has an exception in windows firewall. Or if your router has a firewall just turn off windows firewall.(not suggested, because your security will be weaker.) to test if the firewall is blocking the connection, temporarily turn windows firewall off. If you can suddenly connect, then you know it was the firewall at fault. Find the firewall in the controll panels security settings.

Ok those of you having problems, I think I may have your answers. First, make sure your iphone is on the same network as your iTunes. Second, do NOT connect your phone to the computer while attempting this (for reasons unbeknownst to me). If some of you are having trouble locating where to enter the code on iTunes, go to Edit, Preferences, Sharing tab, and make sure both boxes are checked. Now you should have a new icon under devices with your phones name. Enter the code given to you and if it doesn't work right away, try resetting your modem and router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, worked for me. Now as for the app itself, it's pretty awesome considering that it's free. I probably wouldve paid for something like this as it does exactly what it said it would do. Enjoy yourselves!

I like to get my music on my new, wonderful iPod touch as soon as possible. With the Remote, I can download music using my other program AND listen and switch through my library or listen to radio stations to get ideas of more music, all at the same time.I'd say this babe is a good helper with multi-tasking! =]

For those unable to connect make sure both your computer & iphone/ipod are connected to the same network (WIFI). This worked for me. Hope this helps.

for the remote to work on my iMac. Why can't the Remote app start iTunes? "Stay connected" in the preferences seems meaningless. Strange, but otherwise it works. I agree with others that it should control other applications, perhaps ver. 2? It did quit a few times before, but maybe it's fixed with iTunes 7.7.1.
