It sucked a huge amount of memory out my roommate's computer. Her pc was running horribly slow so I checked processes and simplify peer.exe was at the top of the list (88,000k!). Once I ended the program her computer was fast again. She asked me to uninstall the program. :(

This App is better than I thought and I felt compelled to give it a review. I have about 48 apps on my phone and this is the first one I'm reviewing. What can I say. Easy to setup (took me less than 5 minutes to get it going from download to install to setup to listening to the first track). I can access all of the music on my computer from anywhere I have a connection...which is almost everywhere in the area I live. The part that blows me away...besides having full access to my music without needing to have it stored locally on my phone. The service identifies the artist and provides a little blurb about them. Too cool for words. Top that off....it provides lyrics for the songs too. I'm just blown away. It's useful, easy to setup, free and stable. KillerApp

Who needs a 16 gig when you have this? Easy to setup and use. No issues with connection or playblack - just make sure you have a signal. Is there a way to get the album art to show up?or, to play music when app is minimized or closed? That would be better...but great app for free!

I think this is my favorite new application. It works terrifically and is the best addition to my iphone 'desktop' yet! Now I can listen to all the songs in my esteemed friends itunes library. I get tired of listening to my library and now I can enjoy the songs that someone else loves. Thanks for creating this awesome application. For a music lover, this is a must.

Ok...now iphone is blowing me away. With this FREE AP below, you can listen via streaming with WIFI or CELLULAR, your ENTIRE LIBRARY at your home based computer, ANYWHERE.  AND, you can share your library with 30 friends, SO, we can all listen to each others libraries.  Just added 1,000 gigs to my TOUCH.  It works great (wondering if video is possible....may be tough to stream....tho u know it's next)The menu show up on your iphone as though its part of you regular library.  AND, you can listen to different songs on your home computer while you or someone else is streaming on the phone.  AMAZING.

An Obvious Choice

With the fact that my ipod was only 8 gigs, I couldn't carry all my music with me. This program solves that problem. All my music is at my disposal as long as I have a wifi connection. The only downside is that songs with DRM won't play. It isn't the fault of the developer, and I won't decrease my rating because of it. Kudos.

GREAT APP!! Works really well and will only get better. The only bug I have come across is that sometimes when it tries to display the lyrics to a song, it will only let me see the lyrics that are on screen. If I try to scroll the lyrics to follow the song, sometimes it cuts off the rest of the song. This may not be a bug with the actual program and may be a bug from the site that it is pulling the lyrics from. Great app. Can't wait for more updates that allow album art and maybe a fix for the lyric bug.

It's amazing how many crap apps there are free or not and then this one is quietly hidden.I installed this at work (with a tough firewall) because my computer is always on. The app still managed to stream all of my music to my iphone. The sound is great as far as I'm concerned. I would only drop the buffer when my phone changed from 3G to Edge which it does a lot around Seattle. Using WIFI was flawless. It's odd that this is a free app when the weather app goes for $14.99 o_0

Slow over edge network

This really is an incredible program, I just wanted to make it known to iPhone 1 or 2g users that it definitely isn't a realtime experience. It was taking 30-50 seconds to buffer a song over the edge network and still being interrupted mid song to rebuffer as opposed to wifi which took about 5 seconds or less to buffer with no playback interruptions. Not sure how it performs over the 3g network. Still a great app, just limited in it's functionality over edge network

Works perfect. I have a large database of songs. The program handles it great. Buffering songs within seconds. Can not wait for updates for album covers. Well worth download.

I was kind of bummed at the lack of Podcast support in iTunes for the iPhone, but to my surprise Simplify makes EVERYTHING available over WIFI and 3G including the Podcast folder. This is a must have app. If it adds the ability to transfer some podcasts to a cache, it will be a total solution for the lack of podcast support in itunes for iPhone.

This App just made my iPhone the best music player ever.

Wow! Now my tiny little iPhone can access all the songs on my 'puter! I work in a place with WiFi and they let me play my music. I had been trying to fill all my 8gig 1st gen iphone with music so I could listen to all my favorite songs. Unfortunatly I have like 40 gigs of my favorite songs. It would always irritate me when I wanted to listen to a song that i always used to have in my pocket on my 80 gig ipod and I would find it missing from my iphone because its capacity was so limited that I would have to have to pick and choose and hope that its on there. No more! Now I just have my driving playlist (GSM buzz in my car is SO bad... I need sheilded speakers or something) and I can put.... video! on it. Yes I have room for movies now! I don't have to worry about what to sync because its all there. No more rushing on tuesday mornings to download new music. I can just buy what I want and walk out the door while it downloads and it will be accessable from my phone when I get to work. There are a lot of apps that I really love but this one has brought the most to my phone. Oh yeah and it downloads lyrics automatically from lyricswiki.

If you don't have this, get it now. Works almost flawlessly, but buffer time on edge and 3g networks take a little while longer than I would hope. Great app!
