is it odd that i have seriously considered ditching the internal ipod functions on the iphone for this one app. this app is awesome. i have my whole library at my fingertips, and no worry about storage. plus the built in artist info ad lyrics info is really neat. great app, just great app.

Stream your own music without the sync = priceless!
Sound quality is abysmal - audiophiles beware
By: malnar - Aug 18, 2008
It SOMETIMES* does what it says - streams music out of my collection (though it has left a LOT of it out, despite being mp3s and not the protected Itunes files they tell you won't work with this app,) but sound quality leaves a LOT to be desired. If you care about sound quality, skip this - it is no better than FM or XM radio, and that is simply not good enough when I've spent several years ripping my collection at 256 VBR or 320 because I DO care. I didn't spend $200 on in-ear headphones to listen to something this low in quality, and I suspect others who share my love of high-quality sound reproduction will also feel equally let down by this app. In a pinch, it might be nice to access my music, but this will not replace my 160gb Ipod - which I'd hoped to be able to do away with due to this app. Oh well.*SOMETIMES does what it says: most of the time, it will begin to load my library, stop, then just sit, and my Iphone will have a small fraction of what I actually have available. If I back out, load Simplify again, it will show me an entirely different selection of my collection. If I go into songs, I will find things that won't show up under Artists OR Albums. Other times, when playing, a song will simply end mid-song and jump to the next song. This is very, very undeveloped, or poorly developed technology.

This app is great. I already have over 20,000 files shared with different people. I love it! I get a lot of different music that I never would have found otherwise!

The "S" stands for "sweet app"! Well done and easy to setup and use. Been waiting for this one.

With this apps, you can access your entire iTunes Collections on the road. So with this you don't need to buy a 16 GB iphone for the music. Space is NOT a limit anymore.I read that Apple is building this into its next firmware. Until then use this FREE apps. This apps does NOT have Volume control or fast forward. But then it is free , so no complain. Thanks for this apps.

The ap allows you to listen to your entire laptop/desktop iTunes Library, including podcasts, etc., on your iPhone anywhere in the world you have an internet connection--wifi, 3G or even EDGE. What's more, you can also share libraries with 30 of your closest friends, all of which can be enjoyed on either a desktop/laptop or on your iPhone. Right now it's free for both the iPhone and computer versions, and rather than waste your time listening to my opinion, just take the few minutes to install it and see (and hear) for yourself.
Almost, kind of, somewhat there...

75% of my iTunes library fails to be included by the app; no exaggeration. On top of that, what songs do show (249 of 1050) do not have album artwork. I do think the info about the artist/band is a nice feature. As are the lyrics, however the app doesn't seem to feed up the full lyrics, only a verse or two. Finally, the app (desktop and iPhone) seems to take quite a while to scan and connect with iTunes. The iPhone app takes the longest. Bottom line, for free you get what you pay for. I doubt I'll use this app very much, if at all, mainly due to the connection issues.

This is great seeing that I have limited my music stored on my iPhone to those that I really wanted, now I have access to all my music regardless of space limitations. Great idea and it was free (at least for me and now). Some bugs need to be worked out with cover art missing and the artist and lyrics information is cut off, other than that, great application. Get it while it is free!!
A Great Concept but Limited in Ability

It is a great idea and one that I personally love as one with a good size media library, but it only syncs non-DRM material and nothing bought from iTunes itself which leaves me with a very limited choice. I think I will wait until Apple develops it's own program like this which I've heard is in the works.
Best app of store.

This app allows you to play ALL your music from your computer on your phone if both are connected to the internet. If you do not have 3g i think that the loading will be ALOT slower and would probaly not recommend. but otherwise. This app is AWESOME and allows me to carry my 200gb of music on my iphone whenever it is connected to the internet which is ALWAYS. thumbs up!!

I think this app is great a lot of people are complainig about little things dealing with connection issues but just think what this app is trying to do if u have more than 10,000 songs maybe a classic is for you 5 stars for this app I have 16 gb of space and don't what to do with it

Was waiting for something like this to come along. Works pretty good with a wifi connection but nothing but buffering with 3g
Love it, but a few bugs

This app is great! This sorta thing will really change the way we listen to music. I have 9,400 songs. All but 200 are available. Not bad for version one of this app. Looking forward to the next app.
Good, not great.

When I saw this app, it was a dream come true. I could just use this app for music and have more room on my phone for video. Unfortunately, it did not turn our quite the way I had hoped. It does not play DRM protected songs, and will not run in the background. Other than that, it really is amazing.

Terrible app! Only finds 255 of my 4500 songs!
Amazing technology with a few glitches

I general, it is an amazing service. The though that you can listen to ALL of your music without loading it all onto the Iphone is great. This is particularly true for podcasts etc. which you may have uploaded recently. No need to worry about whether the most recent stuff has been synched. However, there are a few issues which should be worked out. 1) Not all of the music will appear on the iPhone. It will appear in your shared folder but not actually appear on your iphone. It appears that the protected AAC files from Itunes will not appear. This is a bummer and does not integrate well with Itunes. 2) It can take hours for your full collection to populate completely. When you first start you get like 10 albums, then the collection grows over several hours, the playlists coming last. At least, that's how it worked for meIf they could work out these issues, it will be truly great.
Just love it. A little slow though

This is the first app I'm reviewing. Love it love it love it. A little slow in buffering but hopefully there will be a faster update.
iPhone's killer app?

Excellent application, works seamlessly and is incredibly useful.
