Wow! It's so easy to use and it's very educational for kids. We live in a very populated suburb and we can't see any of the beauty of the milky way. Now we can at least show our kids how much light polution affects our view of the real beauty of the night sky. This app is also great when going camping with the kids.

Tried it out a few times and was highly impressed. I like the compass and directions it displays using your location as a guide. The celestial globe outlay is amazing and gives a bird's eye view of the milky. information provided is accurate , succinct and useful giving one enough data to work with such that you do not need to consult any other material at that moment. I would suggest that in the upgrade , the search section should be organized such that the location pointer moves to the object you are reading about in the search area. That would give an instant enhancement of the knowledge acquired by reinforcing it with the visual impression of the object location and photograph. Five stars from me.

Now I have something better to answer to my kids when they ask: "What is this star beside the Moon called?" Before this app on my phone I would say: "An airplane..." Really, the interface is great, the facts are interesting, the gyro-compass works as desired. Perfect!
