Just aim your phone at something in the sky and this app tells you what it is. I like the constellation overlays. Just a very slick, easy to use program if you are an astronomy geek.

Used it last night to find the moon at 3am during the eclipse. A really cool, effective and useful app that can also teach. All in all a winner. Keep up the great work.

Very easy to use. Seems pretty accurate at pi pointing objects. The only negative is that I would like to see the app use my whole screen when viewing the night sky.

This is my fav app, no lie - I’ve tried studying the night sky over the years but never could stick to it because it's so hard orienting and reading the sky. But with this app I study the sky even during daytime and have finally become familiar with the stars and constellations. It all makes sense now! And thanks to this I'm starting to look at the sky unaided and identify stars. This app alone shows the revolutionary value of smart touch screen technology.

With iTouch 4 there's no compass so it doesn't exactly work as advertised. You have to rotate it like a steering wheel to change directions. Azimuth works though. Read directions on the website carefully. Interesting UI.

I use this app to roughly locate the most popular planets and constellations for my kids. This app allows me to quickly locate them so that I can keep my kids interested in the night sky. THIS APP IS GREAT!
