Reviews:
Great application By: Woody56 - Nov 2, 2010 Version: 4.3 Easy to use and understand application. highly recommended for educational use.
Very good app By: Mykal1 - Nov 2, 2010 Version: 4.3 Just make sure you get your long & lat set right and there are a few sites that will give that to you by your address,if you use it mainly at home that is but it would be hard to find a better app for this subject I love it
Great App!! By: Report a Concern - Version: Faaaaaascinating.....Truly remarkable application.
Music volume leveler By: CBee35 - Nov 1, 2010 Version: 4.3 It would be nice if there was a volume leveler at least for playlists
What a treat By: Canard Phil - Oct 31, 2010 Version: 4.3 Couldn't be more tickled with this app. As new to star gazing it has not let me down yet when it comes to answering a question, finding a star or planet....Trying to stabilize on a star etc is a bit tricky as the iPad is pretty sensitive.
Different but excellent approach By: Jbredmo - Oct 30, 2010 Version: 4.3 I have Star Walk and Sky Safari, both very good, and differing in concept. I bought GoSkyWatch out of curiosity, to what they could come up with that might add to the capabilities of the other apps. I was surprised at the "target sight" and photo pop up mechanism, and I find it to be a great advance, and a real pleasure to work. Time will tell which app I use the most, but GoSkyWatch is well worth the money.
Great App By: RyanJulian - Oct 30, 2010 Version: 4.3 This app is so freaking cool. My boys 2 and 4 love playing with it.
Excellent By: Astro71 - Oct 29, 2010 Version: 4.2 This app is the best planetarium program I have used. It is very intuitive with just the right amount of detail and information. It has been very reliable. Highly satisfying to use. Thank you.
Wow By: Adedayo Mach 1 - Oct 29, 2010 Version: 4.3 What can I say that hasn't been said. This us truly a great app hopefully I will be able to maximize in a few months it's usage as there is a LOT of info. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to hug my telescope now
Just superb By: Bmon007 - Oct 28, 2010 Version: 4.3 This is why I have an iPhone. Apps like this. Simply outstanding. Well worth the money!
Really cool By: Spheromak fusion - Oct 28, 2010 Version: 4.3 I love how the pics of objects pop up when the cursor moves over them. Really easy to use. Had to practice how to hold iPhone to get best alignment with constellations.
Amazing By: Report a Concern - Version: The idea alone is worth a few stars, but the execution is actually inspired as well. The iPad is the perfect platform for this kind of application.
Incredible App! By: Timmer777 - Oct 25, 2010 Version: 4.3 Awesome AP for beginners as well as experienced astronomers! This AP is impressive, easy to use, AND lots of fun. I would recommend this AP to anyone who has ever looked up at the night sky and wondered at what they were looking. Now you will know if it is a star or planet AND have all it's info at your fingertips!
Awesome By: John in Fiji - Oct 24, 2010 Version: 4.3 One of my favorite apps. Great fun showing off this app to guests at the resort. I wish I sold iPads as this app makes it really shine!
You won't be disappointed. By: BBrazner - Oct 24, 2010 Version: 4.3 Fantastic app! Great to have when on a evening stroll or as a teaching aid for the kids. Lots of options for adjusting the display to your specific liking (e.g., slider for star magnitude, add lines, names and/or images for constellations, etc.). The finder feature is awesome: select the sky object from one of the various lists (e.g., stars, constellations, planets, etc.) and the yellow arrow points you where to aim your gyroscope-enabled device (e.g., iPhone). The one feature I'd like to see: When operating in gyroscope-enabled mode, have some means of applying a manual adjustment (separate from the figure 8 maneuver which never works) to correct for compass interference which occurs all too frequently.
Very Nice app By: KT0701 - Oct 24, 2010 Version: 4.3 Great interface! GoTo feature very intuative. GPS and compass data a hair off, but otherwise a stellar app!
Dr By: Paul Eckstein - Oct 24, 2010 Version: 4.3 This is the best astronomy app I have ever downloaded. It is accurate and easy to use. The celestial body locator is more helpful than the computer software on my $1500.00 telescope.
Awesome app By: Nasty9d - Oct 23, 2010 Version: 4.3 Greatest app ever! Replaces expensive star atlases. And with great color pictures and info on whatever you want to find. No more fumbling around in the dark with star charts. In red light mode it preserves dark adjusted eyes. Wow. Great job on a functional app.
Impressive. By: MeSherrie - Oct 23, 2010 Version: 4.3 Many endless nights of laying on top of cars while my father attempted to explain the stars to me. I wish he was still alive to see this amazing program. I've never had any problem with it at all. It's a little over-my-head though.
Awesome By: Livegood - Oct 23, 2010 Version: 4.3 An amazing app,
Awesome By: McHellYeah - Oct 22, 2010 Version: 4.3 Currently my favorite app
