App looks like it should be fantastic. Unfortunately for me it crashes after a few minutes use. Can be restarted but it's annoying. From what I've been able to do it looks great. Anyone else having crash problems. Wonder if it's a conflict with another app ?

One of my favorites apps, sky will never be the same for me: Now I can identify stars and constellations like Altair, Deneb, Vega, in Aquila, Cygnus and Lyra, respectively, to name just a few… Great how you can see the changes of sky along the year, even along the night. Your next step will be 1) join your nearest association against luminous contamination, and 2) find a green astronomic laser, to point and show the stars and constellations.It may have some flaws (some imprecision, menus not perfect), but you'll love watching the starry nights…

It's a beautiful app with some very clever features (though my iPod touch can't use the GPS based function). But for practical use I prefer Starmap Pro: it just seems more geared to act as an observing tool rather than aiming for the wow factor. but it's nice to have both if you are not counting the pennies.
