Reviews:
Great App By: AZphotoguy - Sep 7, 2010 Version: 4.2 So easy to use. I love how the objects in the sky get grayed out when they're not in view. And the pointing at an object to identify it is amazing. This just obsoleted a pile of paper I used to use with a star chart when out looking at the sky. Really nice work.
Great Tool, Fun also By: Nonicknamealso - Sep 7, 2010 Version: 4.2 I've only used it a few times so far but it is intuitively easy to use. It allows me to answer my sons questions, "Daddy, what is that bright one next to the moon?" in minutes instead of firing up the PC and searching the Internet, and maybe remember to let him know the answer the next day.
Legit By: Bobbywastaken - Sep 6, 2010 Version: 4.2 Really cool and accurate. A little more user friendly navigation and help would be great. Awesome app for the price.
Great product By: John G Money - Sep 6, 2010 Version: 4.2 The best features for me are the TIME options allowing you to speed up or slow down time as well as jump to future and past dates. I also like the ability to scale the amount of visible stars up and down to approximateYour own viewing situation.
Works Great... By: Wetwilly7417 - Sep 6, 2010 Version: 4.2 This app is very cool... Works as advertised.... Intuitive operation ... Highly recommended ....
Buy it By: sfhjuiceplus - Sep 6, 2010 Version: 4.2 My wife saw app out somewhere. I found it, tried it, bought it. Planets are still way off--huge errors. Marvelous as a mini-planetarium to identify objects otherwise AND it got my teenagers stargazing with me!
Awesome By: reviewer111111111 - Sep 6, 2010 Version: 4.2 Fantastic app.
Amazeballs By: sgrim26 - Sep 5, 2010 Version: 4.2 Made our camping vacation ten times better. Amazeballs.
Awesome By: thomasdo - Sep 5, 2010 Version: 4.2 Simply my favorite app.
Wow By: tygr214 - Sep 5, 2010 Version: 4.2 I've been searching for an app like this and it exceeds my expectations. So amazeballs.
Bosstastic By: buhzurk - Sep 5, 2010 Version: 4.2 This is awesome app
Aol By: Plexu - Sep 5, 2010 Version: 4.1 No complaints
Pretty killer By: Theyesdoctor - Sep 4, 2010 Version: 4.2 Definitely one of the coolest apps I have or have bought.
A really good app with a few glitches By: StuartDole - Sep 4, 2010 Version: 4.2 This really satisfies. Great view of the sky. Two minor problems: I need to remember to bring my reading glasses when I take the iPhone outside at night, and the display of the sky keeps doing these 180 degree flips if you're looking straight overhead.
Perfect By: anemi - Sep 3, 2010 Version: 4.2 Simple Perfect
Great astronomy program By: UnSpace - Sep 2, 2010 Version: 4.2 It's a star chart and library in one. I love it!
Perfect use of accelerometer and compass By: SmoothNoodleMap - Sep 2, 2010 Version: 4.2 This app is a seamless and very intuitive use of the iPad and iPhone accelerometers and compass. Gives you a "window" on the sky behind the device with pop-up info.Sometimes the direction is not quite right - I think that is a function of the HW not the app.
GoSkyWatch By: Kelliandjay - Sep 2, 2010 Version: 4.2 Love this app
Simply Incredible By: Lichkingmagus - Sep 2, 2010 Version: 4.2 I originally bought this app on my 3G, and it had come a long way. I now use it on my iphone4 and it is by far my favorite app. The sensitivity to the direction and angle you hold your phone has improved dramatically. The new update allows you to look below the horizon (something I was waiting for) to see what stars have passed or will be coming up. This app has a wealth of info while still managing to be accessible to the casual stargazer. I rarely give five stars, but this one keeps growing and becoming more refined and totally deserves it!
Works great By: Soxnation Texas - Sep 2, 2010 Version: 4.2 Worth the price I paid
You point at it and it'll name it By: Jahanbin - Sep 1, 2010 Version: 4.2 What cool concept. We have hours of fun with the children. This is one those apps that uses the hardware to make things "feel" natural. Go for it. My only wish is that it has more photos or at least be able to send you to a webpage when you feel like finding out more about something.
