Don't get this
By: Baz53 - 29-Nov-2008
Sorry but am I missing something. Clock looks great sat next to the bed while being charged, then it turns off. You then have to push button to see time. The thing is, the time is there anywhere on the top of the screen. So what is the point unless it displays all the time. Pointless application.
Great Clock, needs some features

I give it a five right now because it really is a beautifully designed app. It does what it's supposed to and even added an alarm function with some great sounds.
Now, it isn't perfect, and I have some suggestions.
1) More color choices such as yellow/gold, white, purple/pink, or even just a color slider would be nice.
2) Utilize the screen dimming API's to allow for less backlight pollution.
3) Multiple Alarms! I need multiple rapid alarms to wake up, and the snooze is too long! This way I can be forced to either endure five different annoying noises within five minutes, or just get up and start my day. I'd probably just get up.
4) More cool themes! Perhaps an Analog clockface? Maybe some Digital ones with different fonts?
5) How about a night calendar as well?Show a calendar with a downswipe motion, and match the theme!
aesthetic clockness for your enjoyment

best looking clock app for the iPod/ iPhone. only thing i would request to be fixed is the annoying AM/PM symbol when in 24 hour mode. fix that, and you've got a sure fire winner :)
I like the icon
By: Magickal Mushrooms - May 6, 2009
I downloaded this app when it was free. I probably wouldn't have paid for it but I do love the fact that the time on the app icon reads 4:20. It's the correct time of day any time of the day. :-)

After having this on for long periods of time is it likely I'll get screen burn?
Just too bright
By: l259 - May 5, 2009
I like the idea but it really is too bright for the bedside table even when you dim the display.

Great app, can't wait for more cool stuff in the updates!!! :)
Snooze and Off buttons too close together.

When my iphone is plugged in to the charger and the apple developed alarm goes off I have two options: push to sleep, or slide to turn off alarm. I love this because with my normal alarm clock I sometimes accidentally hit the off button and fall back to sleep and end up late for work... BUT when the iphone is docked into a speaker system type thing and the alarm goes off, or I'm using the Night Stand app, I dont have the slide option to turn off anymore, just two buttons inconviently right next to each other, for sleep and off. VERY easy to accidentally hit the wrong button. Please make it so it's ALWAYS "Slide To Turn Off Alarm" - I wrote the Developer with this suggestion and they replied saying "Thanks for your suggestion. This is quite interesting and valid and we may implement it in next version." I would love for this to replace my standard alarm clock, I could use Night Stand for the visual clock and the apple developed clock app for the alarm (I don't like Night Stands alarm sounds) This app is great, it's even dim enough to sleep by, but until an update it's useless to me.

It's a good idea but the I pod and I phone already have a clock built in when you wake it up from sleeping

Still gave it 5 stars but i would like to listen to some music on my clock, maybe with a timer on it so it'll shut off if i set it to like 2 hours.also like others said, waking up to songs from our itunes.great app though.....Thanks

My main worry about this app is that, once news reaches the iPhone dev team, they'll just assimilate similar features into the OS and this guy won't get the credit- as with the Mac's Quicksilver, copied as Spotlight, Kaleidoscope (Dashboard) and Virtue Desktops (Spaces). Maybe they'll give it their own cutesy name, like 'Digits'!

Some suggestions I have;
-Make it turn on your itouch/iPhone when it is locked, this way you don't have to leave it on all night
-Harder math problems! Throw some variables in there, but offer some difficulty settings for the young ones
Other than that, it's brilliant!

I have been looking for a decent clock app for my iphone for months and here it is thos *%^^$%"!! who give one ster are rubbish!!!
Must Leave it on
By: AppReview_4.2 - May 4, 2009
It comes with a feature that says "Auto-Lock after 5min.,increments up to 2 hours; and, Never". My problem is that it only works to wake you up when it is set to "Never auto-lock". It overrides the iPhone's auto-lock feature. So, I have the alarm set to wake me up at 7:00 am and I must leave it on ALL NIGHT long for it to still work at 7:00 am. If I set the useless Auto-Lock feature then the alarm will not sound. If I set the Auto-Lock to Never, then I waste my battery; or, must plug it in all night long, which I am sure is not good for the screen or the life of the battery. I gave it two stars instead of one because it looks neat and I enjoy the binary feature. **just use the clock that came with the phone and save your money.
Don't listen to negative people

I really dislike people who have the annoying talent of always being able to find something to moan about. This app states that it is a clock - not an alarm clock. As a clock - the app is great - it looks beautiful and displays time correctly - more to the point it's free. If you don't like the software - unistall - but don't come here and under rate the application just because you are too stupid to understand the concept.

Great app for telling the time (even at night)

This app works great and always gets me up in time for school. But it could use a feature that lets you set it so it only goes off on weekdays. Perfect app, works as advertised. :-)
Almost 5 stars
By: Cheesemuncher - 29-Nov-2008
This app has made me buy a powered cradle so I can run this app at the side of my bed. Only 4 stars as it has not got an alarm function. Get an alarm on the app developers and have a playlist function to wake up to. I'll happily religate my clock radio to the bin! Please please please!

I have had this app for about 5 months. The updates have made this app very useful, easy to use, and a definite must for your iPhone. The price is a steal.

For everyone moaning about lack of alarm. Set the iPhone alarm before opening app. No built in alarm required!
