Constant log in errors By: joemon7477 - Oct 9, 2009 Version: 1.2 After several weeks of using this app I stopped!!! ... the concept is great but I continued to have log on issues. I tried serveral times via email to work with Mint.com to solve my issue but no such luck. At least one or two of my accounts had log in errors at one time. I do not recommend this app!!!
Id like to see more tabs on the bottom for navigation, but otherwise great! By: ClosetMonster3 - Oct 9, 2009 Version: 1.2 It would be cool to have some of the graphs and pie charts like on the website, but not really necessary though. Maybe add bar graphs for several months as an option on the home page? The home page needs some more pazazz but Im not sure what would look good. Overall, it is a great app and I wouldnt use anything else to manage my finances. It would be cool to have more tabs on the bottom that I can link to quickly navigate to my checking account or to be able to add and delete things from the main screen so I can have a custom opening page. I wish it would allow better integration with some of my other loans such as my car and my credit card that is from my bank. Currently, it only sees the checking and savings.Great job to the developers of the app and also the website!!!
Great app By: Sneaky.me - Oct 9, 2009 Version: 1.2 Love mint.com & love this iPhone app!
Best personal finance site By: Zirotti - Oct 9, 2009 Version: 1.2 Both mint.com and this app are the best personal finance tools available!
Brilliant App By: Jonesey303 - Oct 8, 2009 Version: 1.2 This app works flawless everytime for me
Household Budget Results By: KTOJ - Oct 8, 2009 Version: 1.2 Mint.com is fabulous. Melody Hobson on Good Morning America advised trying this resource and assured viewers of its security. Both my husband and I receive up to the minute balances on all of our accounts. It's a great checks and balances system for the household budget. We have had to tweak some of the categories but for the most part Mint.com knows how to categorize our expenses. It's incredibly helpful on a day to day basis.
Great concept, but... By: chaznet - Oct 8, 2009 Version: 1.2 It locked online access to my USAA accounts twice before I discovered it was Mint.com. The USAA web support agent explained that Mint.com is very insecure and their recommendation was that I immediately remove my USAA accounts from the Mint.com service. The same thing appears to have happened with my Household Bank MasterCard account and I'm in the process of having that unlocked -- it's turning out to be more involved than with USAA.As Mint.com was recently purchased by Intuit, I'm hoping they'll work things out -- the service itself is great and much more functional than QuickenOnline.
Almost Perfect By: J to the L to the S - Oct 8, 2009 Version: 1.2 The update allowing catergorization of purchases was awesome. Now you guys just need to allow us to be able to split purchases up like we can on the full site. I love mint!
Loving it By: Lou Nava - Oct 7, 2009 Version: 1.2 I recommended It to all my friends. I love that it's secure and that I can budget myself easier. It's super smart in how it budgets. It doesn't need you to categorize your purchases, it does it on it's own!!
This app compliments your website! By: BJ_Strother - Oct 7, 2009 Version: 1.2 The updated version of this app has made me look twice at using this app because of the ability to change categories on the road. This makes the budgets more useful. Im only giving 4 stars because the alerts are constantly delayed.
Nice By: robwili - Oct 7, 2009 Version: 1.2 Nice user interface to use.Keep it up
Great interface By: JonahWy - Oct 6, 2009 Version: 1.2 I've had small problems with updating my accounts, but they are all resolved now. The web interface is great as well and it is really easy to get set up.
What happened? By: lcjones1969 - Oct 6, 2009 Version: 1.2 Every since the Mint Software went after the money by being bought out by Quicken and updated I have had nothing, but problems with the app updating accurately. Now only half my accounts update when I log in. I have to push refresh frequently before it tells me it has updated all my accounts. Even then my bank accounts are still not accurate for some reason.
Update ruined it By: Gibhunter - Oct 6, 2009 Version: 1.2 Used to be a great app, now it makes me type my email/password every time, and often will randomly log me out while using it.
Update much improved for an even better app By: tesoro mio - Oct 5, 2009 Version: 1.2 I already had a mint acct set up, so you have to create the account online first. I find that this updates better than the personal assistant app. You can link many different accts to it, while the personal assistant app didn't even have ING. It's no frills, very simple. And free. The update gives you more options to edit transactions, and it seems to update the linked accounts better than before. For security you can add a passcode. If you use the planning tools on te website and set up budgets, you can view their status in the mobile app. Overall great app.
Great app By: Termechi - Oct 5, 2009 Version: 1.2 very very good app
Truly great app! By: miani365 - Oct 5, 2009 Version: 1.2 Great app that keeps my finances organized. It automatically downloads my purchase data from my credit cards, banks and helps me break down my spending down to categories so I can see where I am spending. I would like to say thank you to mint for creating a truly great app and for keeping it free.
One if my favs By: Sam_fung - Oct 4, 2009 Version: 1.2 This is in my top 10. This app provides a high level view of my personal mint site. I especially appreciate the alerts.
I love mint. By: Mydogholly - Oct 4, 2009 Version: 1.2 Good start, but would like to be able to compare current spending with prior months.
It's good, BUT.... By: Devil B - Oct 3, 2009 Version: 1.2 No doubt the interface is elegant, and this is a good app, maybe even great - but... I so much wish it updated more often, and/or synced with your banks data every time you opened it. Major headache, if I'm out and spending s little here and there, it would be nice if it didn't wait until the NEXT DAY to update the transactions, and then ONLY if they're cleared. I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem to update pending transactions, only cleared. I've always manually subtracted pending transactions before using Mint, and for trying to maintain a good budget it is s no brainer to include this feature. Example - small purchase made day before yesterday didn't show up until today - this is the 1st of October. So guess what? It applies the charge to Octobers budget for a purchase made in September! Bottom line, I would give this app beyond 5 stars if they could figure out a better way to sync/update transactions on a more real-time (as they happen) basis.I'll add that the lack of a push feature for alerts is also problematic, if I have to log in every time to see alerts what's the point? Mint: I'd like to see on a future update, real time data info, pending transactions, and push notifications for alerts without having to log in. I would gladly pay for an app that did all that, if that's what it takes.
Nice app afterall By: Sayagee - Oct 3, 2009 Version: 1.2 Love the fact that you don't have to do any data entry on every single transaction. It would be nice if I can review past months transactions, and compare expends between previous months. It would be 5 stars if it has that feature.
