Reviews:
Wow, this app is perfect for me By: Long time fan. - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 I don't really care about the iPhone status, I have several Xserves in a colo facility that this is perfect for. Apple provides little to no monitoring of their servers remotely, so this is a glad addition to my arsenal of tools. What they need to add is push notifications for thresholds for things like CPU, network utilization, and if they could shoehorn hardware monitoring for Apple's hardware raid card that would be a welcome enhancement. This app could have been 10 times the price and I would have gladly paid that much for it.
Absolutely outstanding By: Danny Stewart - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 I don't usually write reviews, but this application is a fine piece of work. The app has a beautiful interface, and is fast and extremely responsive. It presents all sorts of useful information not only about computers running iStat, but also about the iPhone itself, which was a big selling point for me. It even has network tools like ping and traceroute. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't even aware of half these features when I clicked the Buy button, but I am extremely happy with my purchase. Worth every penny.
great app By: fascik - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Great app for monitoring Your iPhone and Mac
Awesome By: Soweezy - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 I've been a huge fan of apps from bjango/islayer and I have been waiting for this app since the app store opened. Kudos, great job.
Awesome app By: EricJD - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 This is hands down the best app there is (and looks pretty, on top of that) for remotely monitoring a Mac's status. It does everything I need it to do!
Beautiful and useful By: Gospel9 - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Yes you can free your memory usage on the app, and yes you can monitor all sorts of stats on both your phone and your macbook and or desktops. It works seamlessly and it loads very fast. Ever wondered what your 3G Cell Tower or Wifi IP Address is? It's here.... But it is missing a battery indicator...
Like a tricorder in my pocket By: fakehead - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Need to be able to bypass the screen dimmer though.
Yup, it's finally here By: RipThisJoint - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 and it was worth the wait!
Awesome system info tool for iPhone/iPod Touch! By: U2SockMonkey - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Love this app! All the system info about my iPhone that I want all in one place! Very clean interface with pleasing colors and graphics. Nicely done.
Would get 5 stars from me if I could monitor my PCs with a PC version on iStat Server (currently only available for Mac).
Awesome By: Wornoutcamel - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Totally worth every penny.
Fantastic app By: kahleeb - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Good job on this one mates! I love the monitoring of network computers, but the ability to free up RAM on my iPod is wonderful. Other apps that ran slow without a restart now run fast! Not to mention this app has style.
Great app By: Posaune - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Sweet
Very Nice App By: Roadking11 - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Must have app to see what your ipod and macs are doing. Adding the battery percentage life will make it even better.
Nice Work! By: therockhr - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Works as advertised. I first seen the preview for this on TUAW and had to have it. I have been using the desktop widget for awhile and this works just as well. I love supporting quality apps like this.
Excellent Addition to the iStat Family of Apps By: PrezMc - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 I have been waiting for such an app. One you install iStat Server on any Mac (free @ bjango.com) you can see the current state of that machine (cpu/mem/hd/temp/etc) right from your phone. Very nice and clean interface. Great way to keep an eye on one or many servers. The iPhone app allows you to remember as many servers as you like.Accessing your machine over the internet requires you to open a port in your firewall (TCP 5109).
I've been waiting a while for this! By: Just Another Spaz - Jan 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 This is my new favorite app. Clean interface, very simple and easy to use. It even lets you view your iPhone memory and even free up memory (if you're about to play again). It will make the iPhone run faster!
