It is very rubbish now that it does not work offline. You often listen to books when you are bored, you are very unlikely to be bored when you have access to the internet because you have so much to do, so why would someone listen to a book only when they have conection. Please make it so you can download the books. Thanks

See my review of version 1 below. The update had ruined it. No offline playing which makes it useless IMO. I will be deleting this app once I send this review. Whoever made the design choice of streaming or forced it deserves to be sacked. Version 2 gets a zero star. If anyone knows how I might revert to V1 I'll appreciate the tip. For V1 I wrote: I don't understand what some of the negative reviews are complaining about. This is a great browse n' download app for Librivox. The interface could be better at times but it is reasonable. Come on people! It is a great app for free. Also Librivox readers are volunteers and I am forever grateful to them (note that if you do not like their reading style it is not a fault of the app. I, for one, find the diversity of styles rather endearing).

Aswell as what everyone else has said, I have to say that the people voicing the fine books are terrible. I can put with distinct accents but whey mumble the recordings. It's terrible. The quality is bad too with hissing or just low quality. It doesn't give the best atmosphere when you're trying to lose yourself, in terms of audio books, added to the streaming issue. It's just not great at doing what it's meant to.

FREE AUDIOBOOKS!!!! :-) But I won't be updating from 1.0 :-o I don't know why you were 'forced' to stream it online, and stop offline playback for those who didn't read the upgrade description, there may be some legal reason of some sort but if not, why?!?

I am enjoying the listening to the books during my chores, time goes by quick. I have found almost ever book that I have that I've wanted to read in the past but could not find the time to set and read so the autio books are just what I've been looking for. Thanks for making this a free app. 5 stars

Do not upgrade this app, it no longer does what the description says, it says you can listen to books whilst on the move, but you can't do that anymore, you need an internet connection from v2 as it streams rather than downloads in this version, turning a really useful app into a pointless app, as I can connect to librivox if I'm online already.

I would give 5 stars if there were better control with rewind and fastforward. The ap sometimes skips parts of the chapters and you cannot rewind without multiple presses on the rew/ff buttons (gives only a few seconds at a time.) The buffering is annoying.

.......but new update took away ability to listen off-line - now it's only streaming. I do not undersand why the've done this, it was one of the best features of this app. I thought the update would add the udea of streaming as an option not reduce functionality by removing off-line option.

I think this book is good, however it seems a little bit work, should add even more stories! Most importantly I am very grateful for whoever deleloped this software.
