This is a MUST BUY for any harry potter fan. Definetley. Seriously though, I want the motion response fixed. It is a little bit hard to cast spells, BUT once you get the hang of it it is awesome! I think they should make an adventure harry potter game for the ipod, not just the wand. But it is still fun! Worth 5$. If you are a DIE HARD harry potter fan, definetly buy this awesome app!

The game has great potential and graphics are amazing but the spells are way too hard to do and it seems very awkward as sometimes you'll do the same action twice and one will work and the other won't so definately needs a update :-)

It's a great game but like many others i found it very difficult at the start but just go on the website provided and watch the video. It explains everything and I have now learnt all the spells.My question is though, will there be an update as it is realy good but too short. Maybe missions. Even make the movies into games for the app, but a much shortened version. I would even pay for them!

Really, really bad. I have learnt first spell and given up. Considering the studio and money behind this game, they could have done so much better.Why are peole giving this thing two stars, when it is unplayable? Sort out the controls OR the instruction material.

Bin eigentlich ein großer hp Fan aber das Spiel kann man sich sparen. Für das Geld hätte mehr erwartet. Die zu lernenden Zaubersprüche sind schwer zu bestehen.

The description says that you can use and ipod touch, however there is only one downside. To play this, you need a microphone, which the ipod touch doesnt have. I feel like i just wasted 5 dollars.

But once I got to Aguamenti It started to say 'too slow' no matter how fast I would go, even though it would give me the first one. If I could get past this, it would be five stars!

I love this app, but the wand spells are ridiculously difficult. Once they tweek the sensor recognition protocol this will be THE best Potter related app available.

There's nothing wrong with the app, it's the way you're trying to cast the spell. You should be trying to cast it as if you were drawing the shape on a chalkboard, NOT as if seen from above. Try this and I guarantee your spells will start to work a lot more often.Brilliant app! I love it, definitely something the app store needed.

This was really frustating for me until I discovered that the spells should be cast in the vertical plane and not the horizontal plane...like moving your hand up and down while holding the iPhone instead of closer and away from you. Once you get it, it's fun!

HP Spells suggestions

Brilliant idea, the spells are difficult but like I did at first some of you might be doing it wrong, I suggest looking at the HP Spell Tips video. Online dueling would be great and easier and quicker spell casting capabilities (needs to be more sensitive). Also something like a campaign mode (battle your way through the books) instead of just dueling might be nice. Eagerly awaiting the next version!!

I log onto the online multi-player to duel and can't seem to find anyone else, beyond that this game is SOOOOOO awesome! Just remember the shapes they are showing you, do them as if you were drawing on a chalk board and you'll be good to go!

I myself found the wand movements easy (which others don't) however I think this app must award House Points for beating the computer in a deul and not just awarding a deul between two persons as not everyone has an iPhone or iPod touch (then the other person has to buy it)(I'm moaning because I've completed all the lessons to 100% and no one nearby has an iPhone or iPod touch)

Like the other reviews it is very hard to make the spells work correctly. If it worked like intended it would be worth the money. As is it should be free. Gives HP bad name.
