I've bought 2 Iphones. And at over 400.00 a pop. Im thinking if you lose your phone or Ipad the first 2 locating times should be free then all after that you pay for the service. Since I'm paying a monthly fee for data of 30.00 should be a no brainer.

Don't expect to fly through the set up. It's easy but don't rush through it. It is slicker than grease when all the right things are done. Don't get jacked, use this and lock your machine or wipe it from just about anywhere. Then find the guy.

Works fine. Agreed needs separate pricing from full MobileMe subscription. Also please fix login so I don't get signed out everytime I use it. Store the password in settings please!

You have your iPad but cannot find your iPhone? This app helps you find it. Likewise the other way. The intent of the app. Some of the negative reviewers just do not think.

This is a great ADD-ON service to Mobile Me (see that, ADD-ON service). It is not $99 for just the location services, but for the entire Mobile Me subscription. If you don't want to subscribe to Mobile Me, that's fine, but don't complain about the cost when you don't have all the fact.

This is a really great idea but the problem is that's it's not really free. I shouldn't have to pay $120 a year for a MobileMe account that I won't use for anything but this. If it weren't for that this app would be on the best.

My wife and I subscribe to MobileMe. Forgetting the MobileMe sync bugs this Find my Phone App is great. I always hated having to log on via an Internet browser. Now I don't have to. I have just downloaded and logged in via 3G and it worked first time. As sad as it may seem, we both know where each others phones are at all times (in the UK). This proved very useful when the wife had her one stolen. We saw the signal was dead so it confirmed our suspicion and we had it locked by O2 immediately. So this comes highly recommended. The only downside is the slightly too expendive MobileMe service. Hopefully this will get cheaper soon...

I like the app... ive been waiting for this forever....but now that i have it it makes me think more that apple should separate find my iphone from mobileme I would like to be able to add multiple devices from multiple people to the app....and obviously I wouldnt want to give them my password for me.comalso the logging in everytime i open the app can get a little aggravating... i would think with multitasking you should be able to have it stay loaded in the back if you wantbut overall a great app

You have to have a mobileme account. So Apple has it in their hands to prevent crime and help people recover their property but they can't really give a monkey. I had my laptop and iPod stolen and they claim they can't track it even if I have the serial numbers. Yet when their prototype iphone 4 got lost they were quick to block it and recover it. Make this free and prove you actually care about your customers,
