Used Bump to trade pictures with my boyfriend and it worked perfectly! He takes tons of pictures and I hardly take any, so this app is perfect for us! We had a thought- what if there are multiple iPhones in the room? How does Bump know which phone to send the information to? Verifying the contact is asked and that is great, we were just curious what happens. It is only the two of us with iPhones so neither of us could experiment to answer this question. This has not been a problem, we were just curious how it sends information. Thank you for a fun program!

This app is simply the best, I wrote a review awhile bak sayin how good it bumped wit my old 2g wit a new 3gs, now they updated it wit where u c the history of the people u bump with, u could map out the current people you've bumped with n find their location on ur maps app, this app is jus gettin better as long as they keep addin updates this app is untouchable, you wana hear the sickest part of this app I jus found out yesterday, my brother has the new "my touch" from tmobile n he was able to get the bump app on his phone but I didn't think it would work cuz it wasn't an iPhone but what do u kno!!! worked perfectly was able to exchange photos, contacts, etc, i was simply shocked that it worked. They need to release this app called "hoccer" same purpose as bump but you n ur friend could b at two ends of the room n u wana swap a pic u jus took u look at ur friend an kinda like flick ur phone at um n they like catch it u kno, if u don't believe me ask one of ur friends wit a "my touch" from tmobile n look for that app, I wish iTunes would get on something like that, but the bump app is well worth gettin I love it absolute essential!

First off, Mongo1221 or 2112 is an idiot. This isn't for file transfer. It is a super simple way of exchanging contacts and a few pictures on the fly. You want a full file transfer...get a program to exchange files. This one doesn't claim to do so. Those cost money, so of course people complain when a free program doesn't offer what a pay program does. For business users, this is awesome! I would pay for it!

The easiest way to share contact information with other iPhone users. You can even create different profiles if you're meeting someone for the first time and don't want to give them your real information but don't want to be rude and say no. You can also choose what information to share with people This is usefull for those casual encounters where you simply want to exchange your name and phone number and don't want to share your address or e-mail.

This is an AMAZING App!!! At first, I was sort if speculative about getting this app. But I got it and I'm happy I did! It was really fast to download ( even when I was using the Edge network) and it was extremely to set up and use. After I created my profile, my friend and I put it to the test. The moment we "bumped" we both were given the option to swap info. And with one mire tap, our info was swapped and saved! This app is one of the few free apps that I wouldve paid for; so it's astounding that it's free. Anyone with an iPhone should get this app!

Okay, so I'm a sucker for Apple app commercials. But I gotta say I love doin' the Bump! It did exactly as it is supposed and at lightening speed. (The Move app worked too but is excruciatingly slow) I do hope the Bump will be able to handle other things besides just contacts and photos in the future though, like ringtones and such. BTW, it doesn't take much for the bump motion to send a file so no need to punch!

Should I even be suprised at this point to see idiots leaving mindless reviews on the page? To the iPod touch users. This is not for you. Get lost. This app is for iPhone owners, ya know, the ones who have credit, jobs, and use the device for it's intended purpose. I understand you kids can't wrap you head around 180 a month, but obviously this app is for the phone users. Now then, for what it was built to do, it does it well! Assuming that every iPhone owner installs the app, this could be an amazing thing! I have bumped easily with many others, and it works easily! The only problem, which is no ones fault, is that people aren't aware of it! As more people get it, it will be that much better! This is only for contacts! People, understand that this is all this is for! Stop crying that you can't bump everything! Use email if you need to send other files. Thanks!

Everyone should have this. Just cuz it's free doesn't mean anything. I was at a party last night n these 2 girls had iPhones (everyone seems to have them now...everyone!) and they had bump so I quickly downloaded it and then we bumped n it was amazing! They got my number,pic and email instantly on thier iphones and I got there's. Bump is an easy way to meet girls and quickly get info so download so everyone can bump! It'll be the new iPhone trend hahaha

I am just amazed at this app. It's wonderful, if you're reading this, don't hesiatate to buy! just do it! I only wish the other person didn't have to HAVE bump to connect with eachother because then it takes even more time to find and download the app, and I'm sure Bump won't be free for long!

After reading some reviews, it looks like a lot of people care about who won, etc. Let's just review the app, which doesn't delete your contacts since I downloaded this with no issues. It couldn't be a more simple idea; how often do you find yourself filling out someones information in your phone at work? I know personally I do it all the time. This saves you precious minutes of your time. Both of you open the app on your iPhone, select what they should receive, like email or phone numbers or whatever, then once your both done, you just have to bump your hands together (not the phone itself). Also, it's motion sensitive so if you jar the phone while the app is on, it tries to send out your information. Simple idea, very useful!

I love this app. Every iPhone should come with it pre-installed. It makes the hassle of transferring certain information you choose about the contacts in your phone including your own personal details too. Swap emails addresses, contact photos, work information, addresses, birthday dates and more. I love it. It works fantastically, never crashes, has a great interface and certainly deserves at least 6 stars. But I'll settle for 5 :D

The only annoying thing about bump is that not everyone has it. So everyone should download it now, it is free after all. The thing takes anywhere from one second to one minute to set up, and half that time to use. In my opinion this app could only improve, since it's near perfect now. The only improvements I could see are calendar event sharing, notes sharing and maybe video sharing. And for those who hate the location popups, maybe Bluetooth or same wifi connection support would work. But I'd say if that gets added maybe it should be in a premium version since, let's face it, thus app is easily worth $1.00 or more as is, and features like that would bump up the price (pun not intended).

This app is usefull and quite fun, now just more people need to have it. It's funny to read the reviews and ppl complaining that it asks for your location....LOL how do you think it works? Magic? It's needs to know your location and compare it with the other phone that's being bumped, if the location is a match and bump was performed at the same time the app knows which phones to transfer between....

I'm very impressed with this app. I wish it was a standard iPhone feature so everyone automatically had it. Then it could always be on maybe and you wouldn't even have to launch the app. Anyway, it's a great app. I love that you can attach multiple photos and contacts. It's super useful as long as you don't have to make the other person download the app before you bump. Then it's not really faster. If they already have it, it's super fast.

I was telling a friend just the other day, "There should be a way to touch phones and have them share all your contact information." The very same day I talked to a friend with an iPhone about it and he told me about Bump. This APP is the whole reason apps exist. You can transfer all of your information to your friends in the time it takes to pound fist. I wish ALL phones had this capability because this is what phones should be ABLE to do. No more calling each other to get numbers and having to sit there and type in who it is...pound it and it's all there.
