Hi all,
I have helped in the marketing for the Chorus app for the past few months and have really seen this come together. First of all congrats to the enVIO team on launching. Secondly, the real power of this app comes when the user adds their Facebook and Twitter friends to the app so that sharing of favorite apps can occur.
I'm excited to see what kind of apps I'll discover. I already found paper toss which my son loves.
iTunes Genius Doesn't Stand a Chance!

Genius was announced by Apple as a way to recommend apps based on what you've already bought. It never gets things right and I've never found a new app through that feature? Why cause it's artificial inteligence and very bad at making recommendations!
Chorus relies on what your friends are downloading and reviewing. It matches you up with people or your real life friends and helps you find applications that you'll really like. Basically, Chorus makes the app store more social and the user interface rocks!

Let's face it, there are just way too many new apps out everyday and its nearly impossible to figure out which ones I'm going to like. Chorus is the app I've been waiting for... it helps me cut through the noise to find the best apps base on which ones my friends like and which apps are similar to the one's I've already gotten. The interface is really slick and I've already found a couple of great apps. Highly recommended!

This is truly a sensational application. I cannot believe no one thought of this idea till now. It’s the best way to search for apps. Now that I have Chorus intelligently recommending apps to me, I find myself downloading a lot more apps. Until now I had no idea some of these apps even existed. I especially like the free section in Chorus. And the best part is, I know what all my friends are downloading. Chorus is like a facebook for apps. I’m in love with my phone all over again.

Random peeps or your friends? I was just in Napa this past weekend and used Yelp to find what I hoped would be a great dinner spot. Obviously about half the reviewers were associated with the restaurant because the place was so average, no way it deserved 4.5 stars. Chorus helps you cut through the clutter of useless and unnecessary apps (and save wasted $$$) by relying on the people you trust most ... your friends. Plus, I don't have time to keep up with all of the daily changes in apps, I just let my friends do the dirty work for me. This is a clean and easy to use app ... and its free. I like free! Just wish had thought of this earlier ...
Fills a growing need adequately

Chorus does a good job of providing social features the App Store lacks. It also provides some initial "expert" reviews, so even if you don't have too many friends using it, you can still get some value from it. However, it definitely is more useful when you have some active friends on it. It could use some UI polish; it feels cramped and too dark, and the discovery and ratings for apps are rather ironically buried.

I am amazed to see such a glitch-free app on it't second day since launching. This app provides people with a way to "shake things up". If you are ever feeling bored of your regular apps and are looking for some reccomandations on what apps to buy, you've come to the right. My mom was a part of marketing the app and I really got to see this app develop. I believe this app is a great odea and it has a lot of potential!

Top Paid/Top Free/Top Grossing isn't enough selection. Chorus is a great way to find out what your friends are downloading and what they think about them! It saves me the trouble of finding my 5-6 friends that are always combing through the app store to find cool stuff.
