Did have a problem with the pasword saying it was wrong. Then I realized it was and I corrected it and it works great. Don't really know why some people had problems. I would say it would be nice if you can change the password after you add a provider like aol. But it's east to erase it and make a new one with the right password, so I don't know why so many people complain. I say try it. It is way bettter then all the other all in one apps. At least this one didn't crash and you can even send pics and voice messages.

I used to have that horrible IM+ app for msn. Crashed enough times to make me look for another app. I downloaded this one next, and guess what! No crashes! Hallelujah. Quite recommend this to anyone. If you scroll down (or up, I guess) and see a bad review, omit it from your consideration of downloading this app. Its perfect.
Don't listen to the other people. They're just whiny that they can't figure a simple app. Don't go for Fring, IM+, or any others... well, go ahead its not my decision but at least TRY this app. umm.. pretty much it.. oh yeah.. You know that Beejive one? that actually looks pretty sweet, and puts this to shame, but then again, are YOU willing to pay $15 just to talk to some friends/co-workers on an app just because it has better aesthetics than the free one? I know im not.
ps. download the app, and try it, and if you dont like it, boo-hoo. your problem.

1. Download this app.
2. Sign up for a free Palringo account online via your computer.
3. Open app by logging in with your Palringo account
4. Edit your Palringo profile within the app to add all of your IM accounts (Yahoo, GTalk, MSN/Hotmail, iChat/AOL, etc.)
If you spend a few minutes figuring out the app you'll be rewarded with an Adium-like app on your iPhone that also does SMS/picture messaging!!!!!!!!

Well apart from the constant battle too get on, the fact that you cant go too do somethin else without loosing your convo and that its absolutly nothinn like the pictures on here....i guess it will do, why is it that there is never a good enough messenger for ipod/iphone..? it in high demand so why dont you just make one!!!!! im so fed up of having too keep deleting and downloading this app because it wont let me on...sort it out people (oh and too everyone thing of getting this..DONT)

Has shut down a couple time when logged into the desktop or vice versa. Links are not clickable, and there is no group listings via the phone. Rivals Adium, and the desktop app looks and runs perfect also. Doesn't save chat so if something comes up, you'll lose the conversation. Other than that I think the app is great! It did however take a minute to add my different accounts but it's been smooth sailing since. I've been waiting for a instant messenger ever since the app store was opened, and it's here!! It's is very easy to use overall it's a pretty good app. Yeah you have to set up a palringo account but it's worth it. You really just make the account and forget about it, they don't send you anything. The only downfall to this app is that it isn't very stable. It crashes alot. I think it might have to do with the minimal space it takes up, I don't know. But fix that crash problem and you'll have *****s from me. Written on a touch.

my god this is an amazing app at the start it takes a bit to understand at the start it is a bit confusing so i will help. If you have for example a hotmail account and you want it to work just like on your pc you won't be dissapointed it really does. HOW TO GET STARTED 1. you need to first make you account acsessable on palringo so get on to palringo and make your account (it gides you through) then click on the little speech bubble at the top and click on add service. 2.It will hen give you an option to choose between windows live messenger, yahoo! Messenger, AOL instant messenger ect. lick on the one that you have an account on nd type in your email adress and password. 3. Click on add service and you will then have all you contact there and god luck with this brilliant app.

Downloaded and instaled quickly, while I signed up on the site. There is no spam *try before you bash*. Giving this thing a one star review because you have to regester in the site is unfair.
Then I simply added the msn service, signed it, and talked. The whole process took less then 5 min. Much better then the ugly im+ messenger, and you can send pics from your ipod.
If you can't figure out how to use this, then you don't deserve an ipod.

I purchased MobleChat and was content when it was functioning, but sadly I have deleted it and I can never get it back for future updates. Palagarino is vurtuialy the same as MobileChat except for the addition of some other messengers which is a good thing in my mind. It is very easy to send pictures and it even has the ability to send voice messages! The only bug I have found is the text box where you enter your message and where the hide switch is dissapears. The only way to fix this is to close the current conversation, which is no reason to dock a star because once the contact you were talking to sends a message back it re-opens athe chat with the bug gone. Very well made and the signup for an account just requires an email and your password for the account. One of my favorite apps to date!

Yes, you need a Palringo account to use this app. However, it's because the Palringo servers store your info and all messages pass through them. The reason for this? I use Palringo on multiple devices, but I only had to setup my Palringo account on one system. I install the app on others and all my settings move over automatically. That's worth it for setting up a free Palringo account considering it's the first IM app for the iphone.

The people who are saying that Palringo gives information to third parties are completely wrong. They have no way of knowing this either. Now that that's out of the way: Palringo is by far the best app in the store. Groups are a fun way to meet people and chat, but you don't have to participate in them if you don't want to. One reviewer gave Pal a terrible rating because people can send you "inapropriate" messages, but this is true with any type of chatroom. You're only succeptable to this if you join groups anyway. Another great feature is picture messaging; you'll enjoy it immensely. Now, the reason it lost a star: Palringo often crashes, especially when dealing with pictures. This happens much less than it used to, but it still happens. The only things I'd like to see in Palringo are Skype support, and support for landscape typing. Bottom line: download it now. I'd be willing to pay $10 for this app.

WTF is premium? I cant Change palringos theme, lock, BUDDY ICON, cant display the buddy icon in chat . The worst part is when people join a group all the offline people dont show up so people think thats all the people on the group. All the new features you promised us are useless. Its hard to edit the pic in the move & scale because it always get cutt off. And the photo quality is still bad. Its all blurry!! It takes a long time to mod someone. I WANT THE OLD EMOJI BACK THE NEW EMOJI DOSENT EXPRESS MY EMOTIONS the :-D symbol is supposed to be laughing (6) i want the old devil symbol back and the old winking symbol back!!!! I noticed you cant switch from group to group by sliding you finger anymore!! Why? The older version is way better please reupdate it please

This is probably the first and so far easily the best messenger app available for iphone. Its similar to Adium in usage. Its very intuitive in being able to swipe away to your other open chat windows. When sending pics it uploads it to the server and sends the link to the other end. Clever !
Suggestions for the next version:
The ability to use the ipod while using this app.
Notifications while using other apps ? (I guess right now there is no support for this in the SDK. I am sure it would come.)
and voice chat anybody ??

Since the app store was opened I have been searching for THIS application! I now just need a hotmail push email app to go with it because I cannot view my emails on my iPhone ATM. I love you!! A must download, really easy to use. It's as easy as install and IM!! Edit: my hotmail won't log in, so I'm a bit annoyed. -1 star from my previous review until this is resolved, I think it's a 2.1.x firmware issue.

to all you ppl asking why you need a account. its cuz your creating a profile. thats like asking why you need a account for IM. i would call you something but then they wouldnt post this ^_^ but you know what im thinking ;P Please join "the largest group" if you havnt already and spread the name around to your friends to join too!! :] Do you like dragonball z? I had mine up and running on the first try took maybe a minute to register. To add your different services hit the P at the top of the screen beside the little person, then hit edit, and a plus sign will appear at the top right hand corner, hit that and you're on your way. I've only ran into one problem and that was when I tried sending a picture and while it was saving the pic I took it crashed and took me back to the home page. I don't see where the voice part of the application is though...anyone know how to send voice like the description says? And also it says it runs in the background as long as you dont open another app?? Not sure if that's actually true or not.

The only thing I don't like are 1 the pictures are shown bad it's not the even the size I mean format than the ones I Take In the iphone do pls fix it 2 the thing that mostly I hate it's that it froze when there's a lot of chat posted In small words fix a lot of bugs I mean not a lot but there big so pls fix them bug any way this Is the best and I think the IM guts are getting bad rewiews on this that's just jk idea

I looked and looked for a windows live messanger program since apple of course will not let Microsoft have their messanger on the iPhone I had to go with this great app and it has other messangers also. Yes you have to make a account with them but once you do you just log right into what ever messanger program you want! I recommend it to anyone who needs a windows live or other account that apple will not allow on their products!
