Follow us on Twitter @oysterms! ***Now available on iPod Touch! Please be aware that you must be on a WiFi connection to use this app with your iPod Touch.*** ***Note: Due to the differences between cellular providers, replies to your messages may not arrive in your inbox. We are working on making replies more consistent and reliable.*** *Want to send picture messages? Use texTure to send -unlimited- picture messages at no charge to you. *Want to receive replies? They'll come right to your email inbox. *Hate retrieving your message from viewmymessage.com? texTure makes the hassle......less of a hassle. *Send picture messages to iPhones and non-iPhones alike. *Choose from your contact list. *Send each message to as many people as you want. *No more email issues. texTure now sends your message without the use of your email account; replies are directed to your email inbox. *Send picture messages to anyone on virtually any major U.S. network. texTure makes it easy to send picture messages, no matter what type of phone you’re sending to. If you’re sending a picture to a phone that can’t receive picture messages, like another iPhone, you can send the message as a weblink. For most other phones, choose "MMS" and they'll receive it like any other picture message . You do need to know the wireless provider of the person you’re sending to. But, once you send a picture message to someone, texTure will remember their provider information so that you only have to ask once. texTure no longer needs an email account to send messages; your email address is only needed so that you can receive replies to your messages. texTure also makes it easier to view your message from viewmymessage.com. Just take a screen shot of the text message, tap in the message information (no more pen and paper) and go! ***PLEASE NOTE*** that viewmymessage.com is an awful, terrible abomination of a website and there is nothing we can do to make AT&T change it. If you enter the message information and the page doesn't load because of an error, keep trying. =) texTure currently supports sending messages to the following carriers: Alltel Amp’d AT&T Boost Mobile Einstein PCS Metro PCS Nextel nTelos Sprint T-Mobile US Cellular Verizon Virgin Mobile In the works: -Support for other wireless providers -International support -Picture editing and cropping Visit www.oysterms.com for suggestions, and please email support@oysterms.com for technical support!

Sends AND Receives MMS. I Love it!!! By: Thorough Review - Oct 5, 2009 Version: 1.3.2 Yes, this is the one. I'm on an original 2G phone with the original $10/month cheaper AT&T contract and I plan to keep it that way. For me this solves that MMS issue of still not having AT&T support. On the sending side: Simple as can be. Touch the screen to select a photo, which you see on the screen, or select the camera and shoot a pic. Then hit the middle button on the bottom for Send. Tapping Add Recipient lets you select one or more people either by phone number or your address book, and specify their carrier (I don't see ALL on the list, so you *might* actually need to know the correct carrier here -- an ALL selection would be a nice improvement). You can also specify whether to send MMS or a Weblink, so for group sending you don't have to exclude those without MMS capability. They can get the Web access info. You have a place for a subject and a short message, and a Send button. It works. Pure and simple. A nice feature -- It's cool that the app retains the list of recipients the next time you come back in. On the receiving side: OK, nobody has really made this all that simple, but this works in a pinch. You first gotta take a screen shot of the MMS text message you got from AT&T. Yeech. Here's a helpful hint: Before you take that screen shot, tap in the blank space as if you were going to do a reply. That moves the AT&T block up toward the top of the screen. You want it there so you can easily read the message ID and password. Now, with your screen shot saved, enter the app and tap on the third button on the bottom, the "Grab" button. Tap on the screen and locate that screen shot.. You have two blocks to fill out, the Message ID and Password. When you tap in either of them everything jumps up for the keyboard. That's why you want the info in your screen shot toward the top of the picture. After you enter your info, choose the ...com/1 or ...com/2 green button depending on which server AT&T sent it from (look at their message to find out), and you're transported to a Web page within this app with your MMS attachment. If it's a photo, you can zoom in to see it larger, and you can touch & hold to copy it to your photos. I like that. I even MMSed the same photo back within the same app and the person who sent me the original got a clean copy back to them. Really, this is all you need.
AMAZING APP!!!! By: I_x3_music101 - Jul 25, 2009 Version: 1.3.2 My sisters friend spent the night and we both have iphones. She had this app and I asked her if it worked and i tried it and it does!
For all of the people who are uneasy about this one, don't be. Seriously this is legit. It works perfectly and it's amazing. It's worth the one dollar. I would pay $10 for this.
And for the people who are having trouble recieving pictures, have your friends send them to your email. You can save and all of that stuff.
