Great For College Football Scores

I use it pretty much strictly for College Football Scores and it works flawlessly. It holds the main screen as NCAA Football (Top 25 only) and highlights games played (played= blue) games being played (green) and games delayed or postponed (red). It's a simple app but if you want to keep an eye on all the scores of the Top 25 at the click of a button it works great.
I can't speak for other sports because I don't use it for anything but College football but it works flawlessly.
Oh, and if the spreads/points/over-under is your thing, click on the game you want to see and it will display all the relevant info. Great if you're a betting man (or woman).

Little to criticize about this app. Menus are straightforward, and well thought out. Having up to the minute scores available, standings, and stats all in one app is great. This is perhaps the most outstanding feature of the app. Frequent updating. And free no less! Great job.
Some minor tweaks for future versions would be a listing of times, locations and networks (if nationally viewed) of scheduled games (for example the super bowl). Minor quibbles, and certainly not enough to rank this app lower.

I used this for the first time yesterday - the push score alerts are almost "real time", usually within 1-2 minutes but I usually got them while the TV replays were on! Play by play is very accurate in general - it lags in delay a bit but I think much better than ESPN Gamecast. I like extras that the ESPN app doesn't have like lines on the game, BCS standings, etc.This is a great free app, but I bought the paid version because I thought the developers deserve support for such a great effort .

I completely live this app! It give you enough options fo notificatios and the y are quick enough. Of you can't watch a game, this is perfect! Sooo many different sports to choose from and you can add any of them for ur favorites and to get notifications. If you have favorite teams for ANY sport and u follow them, this is PERFECT!!!!! The only thing I wish Sportacular had was something to tell you the tv or radio station a game is on. Otherwise this app is perfect=]

I'm not a huge sports fan - but do enjoy checking out scores - the user interface is nicely done - looks great on the iphone - the data seems logically arranged. I plan to donoate a buck or two to them via pay pal for their efforts - I hope others do as well - since this app is getting such great reviews, and its free to install, I think people should show a bit of appreciation for the time and effort they took on this.

This app, to put it simply, is where I now go to catch up on all local sports scores (including MLS). The interface is simple, the load time is quick (at least over wifi, it does work over edge, however a bit slower). The coverage is extremely thorough, with scores, live stats (with refresh), plays, standings, player stats for that nights game and the season. The most recent headlines are listed for each sport, and upon selecting a headline you are lead to the complete article. The developers have done a thorough job with this app. And for the price, I would not consider any other app. I've even removed the link to "...the leader in sports" site from my iPhone homepage.

This is a great app and this is the first review I have written. I'm doing this in the hopes that the developers consider my suggestion. I believe it will make the the news section a lot more user-friendly. What I suggest is being able to select news by specific teams. So if I want general news it's already there but if I wanted to see news only of my favorite team, the app will filter through all the articles and show me just that. Hope u consider. Keep up the great work.

I have been a SportsTap user since that application came out, but I much prefer Sportacular. The graphics look better, the app is faster, and it goes much more in depth...I love the ability to create a team tracker for my fantasy teams.
There a couple of things that could be improved, but they are not critical. I would love it if it would have a local section or allow selection of favorite teams. I also wish there would be scores for smaller colleges...
I see a lot of comments about the server being down on Saturday and Sunday...it worked perfectly for me all day both days. I love this app!!!
Overall though, this is an amazing application, and I recommend it highly with absolutely no reservations!

I would give this app 5 stars if you would put the option for just NCAAF in the "favorites" You only have the option for NCAA. I don't want to see all of NCAA for my favorite team. I just want the football. You let us search for scores by NCAAF so why not let us have that option for our favorites?
I'd also like to see an option to turn off recent games from showing up in my favorites. I know the score of the last game. I used your app to see it. I don't need to see it again next week. This would be a great feature.

I had the "other" score app and was not very impressed. The ads were quite annoying. I got this app and although I thought the icon was a little lame I tried it anyway. The app is just done very well. This developer knows how to make an app. It is clean and very intuitive. A new icon would be nice, but this is just a well done app.
Also, I love the standings and the stats. When the NBA season starts I will be on this app all the time.
Well done.

I don't understand why this app is free cause it is absolutely amazing. I have tried Sportstap and this is so much better. I use it to view College Football and NFL scores, and the ability to see possession, place on the field, down and yards, and time remaining is great. It's as far as a sports app can go without streaming live video. Also the ability to view NCAA Football scores by top 25 or conference is great. If you are a sports fan and would like to see the scores or leaderboards whereever you are, this is the application for you!

Must have for Fantasy Sports fans!

Better than MLB AtBat and way better than SportsTap. Very easy on the eyes and a great UI.
Absolutely amazing for fantasy sports. I have 2 fantasy baseball teams and 2 fantasy football teams. This app allows you to add your players into custom lists (so you can keep your teams separate) and follow them by team, or just add your favorite players and have all their current stats in a quick view. I have no idea why this app was free! If I knew what it could do I would have paid $10.00. (StatTracker on Yahoo is $9.99 per/sport/season! This can be used forever) I'm very happy I found this!

Best app on the store in this category! Push notifications for your teams, and then the 1 off notifications for the weekly games, works great! Love the pick system and the scores seem to push within a minute or so of the actual score change. Overall, fantasic App. Whether you are a sports fanatic and need to know the scores as they happen, or just want to casually check scores, it's a must have app for any sports fan.

I can't believe this is Free! This is a must download for sports fans!

I didn't purchase the Sunday NFL package this year because were moving so I was looking for an APP that offers scores and game information for all sports and leagues... Like a one stop shop! This app is amazing! After the recent upgrade it hasn't crashed once. The scores update pretty close to live. It has all sports including NCAA. It is so good that it really makes me wonder what the guidelines are for charging people for apps?! I honestly would expect to pay for somethig this comprehensive and good as to where there are so many crappy apps ranging from 99 cents to ten bucks or more! Thanks so much for making this bad-boy free! I love it. It should be on every "man's man" iPhone.

Almost perfect tool for Fantasy Football

Giving it 5-stars anyway, though, because it's a near-perfect tool for fantasy football, which is what I was looking for to help keep track of my teams in a couple of leagues. I love that stats are at your fingertips when you're on-the-go. Recommendation: Maybe future updates can include an entire team's defense stats instead of just certain players, though, as some leagues score entire defense stats instead. Otherwise, two big thumbs up.

Fantastic App. 2 things I would add/change. 1. Pictures on the teams page. Good effort, but make the pics customizable, have options or just get the team logo. I know Terry Bradshaw was great, but not the best ever for the Steelers. As for the Blue Jackets, Nash should be the guy, not Fedorov, who was garbage for the CBJs. Please change! 2. Don't know if it's possible, but a fantasy score calculator or a partnership with a major fantasy website (yahoo! sports, for example) would be awesome. I check stats on my ipod all the time, but knowing my actual score would be excellent.

Like the new team offense and defense stats. Suggestions: 1-include safeties and TDs scored on defense team stats. 2-allow a defense to be added as a "player" on FF teams 3-in the fantasy team section have a screen where the user can fill in point values for stats (ie 20 yds rush = x pts). It could look like the yahoo FF page that shows what the points are for ur league 4-include points from #3 in individual stats or a new FF team summary page

This app is incredible. People will always find little things to whine about with any app, but in my opinion every sports lover should own this. I would have definitely been happy paying for this app- but thank you for making it FREE. And the great thing is the developers continue to update it. Thanks to them for coming up with such an awesome application for the iPhone. And the push notifications are AWESOME!! Good UI and fast load times. Thanks!

This is precisely the right app, for the right device. It lets you track all of the scores and stats, and, luckily, lets you choose what sport you want, rather than lumping them all together. Even better, it lets you create your Fantasy team, and track THEIR stats and scores, updated every 30 seconds! Whoa!! And the news integration with ESPN is elegant, and well executed. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this app. And for free??? Kudos to you, Mr. Hamilton. Well done.
