Everything you need

I can't think of anything else you would need to keep track of Wimbers. Very easy to use interface, lots of info, news, movie clips and, of course, up to the second scoring. We were about 3 mins behind one match on Sky Plus live pause. I knew the score long before the TV caught up! I haven't found the app slow or buggy at all. I'm on a 3gs with v3 firmware. Have used the app in low-reception areas too, still not bad at all. Classy app.

All you people giving this 1 star should be ashamed of yourselves, especially those moaning about the capitalization of Wimbledon. It is a top quality product, the best of it's kind and you should bear in mind that this is the first version, and nobody gets it right the first time, hence, not even a week after the first version was released, there is already an update which fixes the known issues. Give the developers a break, they are doing a great job... and it's effing FREE!

Updates needed 

A nice app to keep up-to-date with how things are going in SW19, but some updates are needed: 1. I can't see Federer on the Draw page (others as well?); 2. If you scroll to the bottom of the draw and then start scrolling back up the title bar, saying "Round 1, Round 2, etc" scrolls down and off the page; 3. The text is small and either an option to pinch & zoom in would be nice, or an option to change font size; 4. Photos as well as video would be nice; 5. Why have links to PDF versions of the draw, one if the links don't work, and two if you can't print them anyway?

First Trip To Wimbledon

I downloaded this app before traveling to London from Los Angeles for my first Wimbledon experience. It was extremely helpful. As I was waiting in the queue to get a grounds pass, I could review upcoming matches for the day and plan my attack once I got in. Once on the grounds, I could easily keep up with matches wherever they were being played. The only problem was I had to be extremely careful with international roaming rates since I had a limit on how much I could use before the rates went waaaay up. The All-England Club did a heck of a job putting on this tournament, and the app was extremely well done.

Updates needed 

Other than that the fact it only works with Internet connectivity seems lazy, I'm sure most of it would be easily be usable over 3G just the videos would be a problem but that's no reason to stop us looking at the rest if it. Using it to look at the schedule if play while at the championships would have been useful.

- The info is just a few embedded webpages optimized for mobile viewing. This means when the scores refresh, the whole page refreshes and you're taken back to the top of the page every few seconds. Annoying.
- Video playback seems buggy. When you close it and interact with the rest of the app, the video can continue playing (you hear the audio).

Needs work. But it'll have to do.

Very good app, albeit limited in its life expectancy - perhaps a more generic sports reporting app would make a more forward-thinking product.
Only minor gripes would be the length of time it takes to fire it up and the rather bizarre way in which the current match scores are displayed in SETS - POINTS - GAMES order rather than SETS - GAMES - POINTS that you see on every other score display anywhere, including Wimbledon itself...
Still, it is free of charge and very handy for following all the action while out and about. Well done!!

Sets, Games, Points

This app would be near ideal if the live scores were presented in the usual order-- Sets, Games, Points. What is still a great app for following Wimbledon mateches is marred by this oversight as the scoring just looks wrong with Sets, Points, Games; and is much more difficult to follow.
Unless an update can be fast-tracked to release on the AppStore, it will probably be all over this year at Wimbledon before an update is ready I'm afraid. Otherwise it is very good, except for what seems like a very amateurish mistake in the score display.

So far after fiddling with it for half an hour:
1. Great looking app
2. News, Scores, Schedule, Draws, Video: All very helpful and are quick links to what you want to know
3. News: You can't enlarge the text! I tried pinching it out and looked in the preferences, but it seems like it's a static font size.
4. Video: There's a Pete Sampras Video but when I click on it I get, "This movie format is not supported." WHAT????? I'm going to get that message in an iPhone App?
PLEASE add a font size adjustment option (a lot of older eyes would greatly appreciate this) and make sure the Video Format is fixed before the start of Wimbledon. Thank you.

Great, but they forgot to allow the app to open an internet connection over 3G

Pretty much a perfect app - I don't mind the small font since it allows more info to be shown at once. I would have liked live radio streaming over 3G and live video streaming over WiFi, but hey, one can always dream. One gripe, in the absence of a WiFi network, it seems like the app only works if Safari has been recently used. If not, the app says 'sorry, you need an internet connection'. Quitting the app, loading a random page in Safari, and restarting the app resolves this. A bit of a pain, but hopefully they'll fix this soon.
