This is a must. What rocks is that after you set the wallpaper you can delete the app. Here is how it works: •download the app. •open the app and insert phone number and email (email is optional). •choose one of your pics on the device. Or of u have iPhone take a pic. •view the wallpaper. If you like it save it to your library. •once you finish making however many wallpapers you want delete the app. •if u ever need the app again it's free to download. It's totoally worth getting!!! And DOES NOT turn out fuzzy.

This app works great when you have a passcode enabled. While it's true, not many people return such an expensive phone, mine was returned to me when I offered a reward on the voicemail. Lucky for me the person who found my iPhone already had one and knew how to get to voicemail. The picture is blurry yes, but I think a blurry picture is worth my iPhone being returned. Like I said, works great with a passcode because your contact is on the front screen but they can't do anything with your phone. Love it, use it, and will always have it.

Awsome application! The picture did come out a little blurry, but it isn't anything I can't live with. For all those people who say it doesn't work... To use the app. you have to put in all your info (and select your background) it then generates and image (with your info on it) and saves to your photo library. You then have to manually go to your library or settings and set the image as your wallpaper. Only down side is, every time you want to change your background you have to repeats this process. It's kind of a hassle to do this if your a frequent background changer like myself, but it's worth it in the long run.

I though this was a great idea after I almost lost my Iphone yesterday. It fell out of my pocket while i was sitting in a chair in the Mall shopping. Thank god someone was nice enough to read my information I provided with help from this app and returned my iphone back to me. If I did not have this application my New 3G iphone that I live off of would have been gone and I would have had to buy another iphone. This app is worth having.
I would like to see more banner choices and more contact information to be added. Also when converted to a photo the banner blurs a bit. I'm giving a 5 star ratting because this app helped me big time.

Touch has flaw when using this but......

Gave it 5 stars because it does get my wallpaper onto the phone but only after going through some steps because of a flaw within Touch and not from this app. This app will put the wallpaper into a SAVED folder on the Touch and when I'd open iTunes with the Touch (USB) connected then a little window opened recognizing my Touch as a Canon camara and ask what program to use. I would have to click this off each time. This is because If Found, Please takes a picture using the Touch (this can be done by simply holding the bottom button down and pressing the on/off once quickly and the picture can be found in a saved folder). I bypassed this problem by e-mailing the wallpaper from the saved folder on the Touch to my own e-mail address then save it in a (general) folder in the Touch's pictures on the pc. Then synced and went into the Touch and saved the photo as wallpaper. This will elimate said problem. Thought to mention this if any had the same problem. Great App by the way and recommend it to all.

I was in a conference room at work today and somebody's phone must have fell out of their pocket. I flipped it open, it was locked, and I had no way to figure out by looking at the phone whose it was so I could return it... then I realized, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY iPHONE !!!
This application would solve the problem, and it looks good!

Well the title says it all. This app is perfect for anyone who has a fear of loosing their iPod/iPhone as I do. I got my first ipod stolen. Now with this even if someone steals my iPod it will be locked so they can't get into it and the onlything they will be able to see is a "If found please call..." message staring them in the face. I originaly had dogtag which requires you to replace your intier wallpaper with a message if you use a lock. Otherwise I had to hope someone would see the open if found app and click on it (a theif would never even consider doing that once he has your phone/ipod open. This app allows me to keep my wallpaper and my lock while displaying my email and phone number for someone to contact me with if I loose my iPod. Thanks Polka great job!

Best app I ever bought! No more fear of losing my phone and someone one not being able to call me because it's password coded. Set up was easy, just follow the I instructions people! The image is clear, colors are crisp, and I couldn't be happier that my 3GS has a 75% better chance of being returned to me, without sacraficing personal info stored in it. If you own, IPhone, you need this app! Well worth a dollar!!!

Some people out there feel like getting all stupid on me. They are smart (sarcastic) enough to not be able to figure out this simple, wonderful app that could potentially save your iPhone or iPod Touch. First of all you don't save the picture that you want to use, but you do take a screenshot of it. Taking a screenshot automatically saves it to your photos. In order to take a screenshot you have to simultaneously press the home button and the sleep button. You know if it has taken a screenshot when the screen momentarily flashes white, and if you don't know what a screenshot is, it is just a picture of what your screen looked like exactly at the moment you took the picture. Once saved to your pictures set it as you wallpaper. Once you are ready to use a picture, and it is set to your liking in the app, press the save button (floppy disc, same as in MS word) in the upper right hand corner, then press continue once the next page appears, once that disappears and it is only the picture you want to use, take a screenshot.

This is a very useful app. That way if you think you're phone gets lost, the people who found might want to call you to return it. If your phone has a password, then there's absolutely no use to keep a phone that you can't even get into. My brother got his iPhone stolen a while ago and didn't even know this app existed... and still no phone so I highly recommend this app to anyone that thinks their phone might get stolen.

I no longer have to use paintshop to edit my iphone wallpapers to include an if found reward offered message. I have put my home phone number in the emergency number field and my email address followed by $$$ reward $$$ in the other information field. Then I have gone into my iphone settings and in the general section I have set a passcode lock as an extra incentive for whoever finds my lost iphone to call me for a reward (as they will not be able to unlock it). This is an easy to use and useful app. The if found message displays clearly on the wallpapers and you can even preview how it looks before you save it. Well done to the developers.

I really don't understand why so many people are complaining about the new style of this app. first of all if you knew anything about the older version, you got it for free, when it was free, just like me. now you get new features, for free, and you can spell, so hopefully you can read, they state right on their info page that a way to make the time bar and slider thing transparent is "coming soon". so stop your whining please. for those of you who don't own this, it really is truely worth paying $0.99 for it. it is indispensible, you get security and customization for you device all on one. check it out:)

Love the new update! As of now you can set the bars to transparent so you can see the background picture, thanks! I have to admit, they make great and considerate apps. Now I wish I didn't laser grave my name on my ipod, but still, you can only hope whoever finds your iPod is a decent person and call you instead of just keeping the iPod for himself/herself. Lucky I got it when it was free, love the new color at the time and unlock slide. Old app was easier to use though

Fact is, I don't expect to mis-place my iPhone. Not likely. However, if I do, there is no way for the person finding my iPhone to contact me. My phone is locked and I don't have my name and number stenciled on the device.
That's where this app comes in. I've been using the earlier versions and was wishing for some customization features. Well, version 2.0 lets you customize the layout and colors quiet a bit. A big improvement from the previous version, I think.
Now, the only feature I wish for is to be able to turn off the exclamation mark and the words "IF FOUND".

Worth it!

this is so worth it. i had just bought my iphone, and after about a week of having it i had it in my purse andleft my purse at the mall. when i relized it had left my purse there i went back and it was gone. hoping that someone would look for i.d. in my purse the phone rang, someone had found my purse and saw the iphone and checked if their was a name or a number on it because i keep my wallet in my pocket i was so glad i gave him the exact amount of money it took me to buy my iphone. what im trying to say is if you dont have this app or your deciding to get it, GET IT!!!!!

Your phone or ipod may not be returned if lost or stolen, but this app is perfect for displaying an emergency contact while still being able to keep the device locked and secure. 911 is allowed even when a phone is passcode protected. You can fit the name (first name only, for more privacy if desired) and your relationship to the person, as well as her phone number. More than likely, that same person will also be able to get the message to you that your phone's been recovered if lost or stolen. You should always carry a card with meds and supplements you're taking, blood type, and other pertinent medical info (diabetes, heart condition, etc.)!!

The default screen was okay, but now the + options are fabulous. I wish that repositioning the image could occur while adjusting style, color, text, etc. I found myself trying to adjust the position while editing everything else. Just the same, great work, and thanks for listening to our suggestions. I rate this five stars and encourage more enhancements, such as a bit more text space. My screen is much more personal now. Mucho appreciated.

my phone is locked so i love having this on top.... didn't know it existed till this evening and just installed it!
ironically I found someone's iphone the other day lying in the street, and as I was trying to figure out who it belonged to, the guy walked up to me in a panic.. there was no identifying info... I hope he discovers it too!

1.0.2: Been using this for a few weeks now and have not yet lost it. Needs the abilities to choose built in wallpaper, change the colour of the bar, and be able to resize the picture you choose from the camera roll. This app has alot of potential, and I look forward to future releases. 1.0.3: the app now gets rid of half the picture which doesn't bother me too much, and I am glad they have gone with thel black bar as green didn't go with anything. Also the image scaling works a charm. Useful application and has potential to go far. More bars, full size images back (or a toggle?) and icon changes(maybe some built in icons (and I mean the icon next to the message, not application icon )) and this app would be awesome. thanks for the update.
